      I do not recommend them, I cancelled my policy one day before it expired, because we found a cheaper one, and to my surprise they charged my bank, after it was cancelled, and removed my bank information, how is it possible that they still had my bank information if I had removed it completely, dont trust them. very bad experience. never again with this company.

      I was told that since I didnt cancel my insurance policy when I brought insurance from another agency 3 month ago I cannot receive a refund from Connect for those payments. Although I was with Connect since 2009 without any accidents the supervisor I spoke to obviously didn't care that I was a longtime customer. Connect is only about making money and should drop the word Family from its name.

      My expierence with American Family insurance is mixed. On the One hand, they start out with good communication, but then when you have questions, they are nowhere to be found. ***** ****** is the worst communicatior on earth. I don't believe she likes her job at all. She will not answer emails or phone calls leaving you in the dark if you have questions. I am trying to get away from American Fam because I wouldn't want to deal with her ever again.

      I had American Family Insurance for 5 years. I was over charged for my auto insurance. I had a policy through ***** ******** *****************************************************************************************. I have never had a ticket nor been in a collision that was determined to be my fault. I had uninsured driver clause on my insurance policy. I was hit by a unlicensed uninsured 15 year old who did not stop after he collided into my Jeep. American Family Insurance sent an insurance adjuster to my residence. The adjuster determined the damage to my Jeep to be 600.00 dollars. The cost for me to get my Jeep repaired was 1300.00 dollars. American Family Insurance is a scam. You should be ashamed of your business practices. Thank you for sending me the American Family Insurance Satisfaction survey. You gave me a reminder of how bad your insurance is!

      I had American Family Insurance for my home insurance, after one year the premium increased by 75%. I purchased another insurance and was supposed to be issued a refund of $246. That was back in March and as of today the company still hasn't sent my refund, First check was sent to a rental I was in and DID NOT Insure with them. In April they were supposed to send another check to my home which WAS INSURED with them. Today is May 6th and still no CHECK. BEWARE ..AMERICAN HOME FAMILY WILL RIP YOU OFF>> Stay away.

      Tried them for auto and home because they were competitive, but, be warned, they raised my rates 20% the next 2 years. Yeah, I know your scam. Quote low and then raise the rates hoping no one will notice. I left them after 2 years. Their explanation was that "everyone is raising their rates by double digits." Bait and switch?

      I was told I was getting regular life insurance but it turned out to be accident insurance and immediately cancelled it was told I was getting a refund but they kept pushing my cancellation date closer and closer to the 30 day period to cancel so now they are not giving me my 100 dollars back and never even sent me any paperwork but said they sent it they are stealing people's money

      Wouldnt cover my home and its a beautiful craftsman. The car insurance quote was substantially higher than I pay now. Nobody has ever denied coverage on my home

      I was a customer of American Family for 46 years. Good service and claims history the few times I had a claim. Other companies couldn’t beat my premiums. Until 2024 when I found I could insure two cars for less money than AmFam wanted for my one new car (premium *****!). When I informed my agent I was leaving she told me she could get me a better rate. Asked me if I was a ****** member, which I have been for 15 years. I expect my agents to always give me the best rate, not only when I am leaving them. How irritating to have my loyalty insulated. I’m happy with my savings on home & auto from my new insurance company.

      We have been a American Family Insurance customer for over 20 years with no claims until this year. In one year, 2024, we had a stolen Kia car, damaged roof and ice dam damage from the roof. We expected our insurance cost would go up but instead, we were dropped by AmFam. We were always an on-time paying customer. It really shows AmFam is not in the business of insuring people's belongings but a machine to take your money. They will insure you as long as you don't make any claims.
