      My homeowners insurance policy started at $800 in six years. It went up to $3200 without me ever being notified. They are crooks beware **** *

      So after a claim that I had no control over last year I get a goodbye **** letter saying they will not insure my house and property. Not only did they do that but blackballed my property so other insurance companies would not cover me also. I have been a long time loyal customer paying their high premiums so I could be insured. Never again with them. They are awful to work with in a claim.

      B E W A R E!!! After close to 15+ years, American Family Ins. More than double, from approx $1,100 to OVER $2700. WITH NO EXPLANATION! I called my agent Maria ***** in ******** ** and was told by her, “I see you took your vehicle off of the ins., well that raised your premium BY OVER 50%,” then she blamed it on “State Regulatory”. In 2024, ***, had 1 “State Regulated” raise, of only 2.5% according to my **., State Rep. District 30. BEEARE- I called ******* ****, got my ins. Rates back down BELOW my original cost with American Family. On a final note, I’d like to say that, my American Family agent Maria ***** was EXTREMELY unhelpful when answering my concerns about the rate increase, very condescending, almost ************ she either wouldn’t/couldn’t answer my questions, she just kept talking about “ways to rearrange my coverage, to get it down” I’ve been your client for OVER 15 YEARS! The problem IS NOT my choice of coverage, my problem is that American Family Ins., raised my rates OVER 140% WITH ZERO EXPLANATION!

      Beyond the worst Insurance Company. Filed a claim after a storm with tornado force winds and hail. After almost a year fighting with them and getting the run around they pick and choose what they will pay for. Half my claim was denied. Now I am dealing with the Department of Insurance because they are a rip off. Avoid at all cost. Fast to raise rates but will ***** you over just as fast.

      Hi, at first my experience with American Family Insurance was great until I was given a claims adjuster by the name of Krystal ******. Krystal ****** has been rude since the very beginning of the claim process. She doesn’t let the customer speak. She treats the customer as if they are the crap. Her favorite line is “I’ve been in this field for over 10 years”. Regardless of her experience, she has no respect, manners and class on how to treat a customer. I hope you guys don’t ever have to experience a claim under her. She’s trash. This company has lost a customer because of KRYSTAL ******.

      American Family is terminating my policy for frozen water from the sky called Freezing Rain 12-15-2022, then August 2024 we had a plumber come out and fix a leaky faucet in the shower, the pipe behind the shower bursted, so the cost for both was around $5,000.00 yes $5,000.00 we got a notice in the mail to cancel our home owners policy.

      I was wrongfully charged full coverage insurance for a vehicle for 4 years when it was supposed to be dropped so I was charged full coverage when it was supposed to be liability when I noticed the mistake and told them they've been ripping me off for 4 years nobody cared when they reviewed everything they gave me back 43 $it's not how you treat a customer that's been with them for 26 years yesterday I cut ties and change companies

      I just shopped my Homeowners and Auto coverages after 10 years with American Family Connect. I live in *******. I was SHOCKED at how this company had taken advantage of my loyalty! No claims EVER! I saved over $1,000 premium on Homeowners policy and $700 on my auto policy. I also improved my coverages considerably!!! Shame on me - I should have shopped my coverage long before now. And I would recommend anyone with this company shop annually to avoid being taken advantage. I trusted American Family more than I should have bc it was an affiliate of ******. I will be letting ****** know of this review.

      They are gouging their long term loyal customers. No issue with my agent but he cant control corporate greed. I cant afford my insurance through them anymore. They hiked my rates beyond ridiculous and not because of my claim history. They have made a bundle off me as a customer. Im leaving Am Fam!

      Tammy in the policy department went absolutely above and beyond for me today. She helped get my situation sorted out and put me at ease. She helped answer questions that my agents office have not and sent them emails on my behalf to resolve the issue at hand. Tammy was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and turned my day around! Thank you!
