      The installation technician gained access to my apartment complex but could not read the correct apartment number and left stating that they knocked on the door with no response. In the notes for why they left, they stated they used the knocker on the door - my unit has no knocker, clearly indicating a fault of the technician. Once I called to see where they were (after getting the whole day off of work for the installation) they stated that the only thing they could do was reschedule later in the week. I was still in the time frame of installation and was on the phone call for close to an hour to learn this. If someone makes an appointment, that appointment should be honored. Customers have time constraints and scheduling around TDS still resulted in lack of service. They offered no solution for coming back after their mistake the same day.

      I am not even a TDF customer and when they put the fiber optic cable through my neighborhood, they drilled a hole in my sanitary sewer. They came and fixed the problem but they haven't replaced the concrete. They tore out of my sidewalk yet and I'm out $315 that it cost me to have somebody come and flush out my line because the dirt settled in or after a year and a half. I had a video of their tube going right through my sanitary sewer, and a copy of the receipt from the people I had to blow out the line. And so far my problem has been fixed. The concrete is not been replaced and I'm out $315 for something I had nothing to do with. If I got my $315 back, I would be completely happy but the way it is now I wouldn't get TDS for anything.

      Signed up for an offer for 600 mbps speed at 300 mbps price for 24 months. I have a screenshot from when I signed up and the offer was clearly active. Company denies offer was available at the time.

      We've had TDS internet and TV service for over a year. When we signed up they offered us a $500 gift card if we signed up for 2 year contract. I called after 1 year and 5 months to request a transfer with them because we bought a house. When I called to schedule the transfer nothing was said to me that if we move out of the location we were at that we'd be breaking our contract. I called them because they cut off our internet service 2 days early. When I called they say we'll unfortunately they couldn't hook it back up and they said unfortunately I broke the contract due to moving out of the service area even though they service the new area we're moving to. And we would have to pay back the $500 gift card plus each month we would have to pay each month for the contract that we stilled owed. I was like omg we're just moving our services. The Supervisor said we'll you broke the contract because you're moving out of the original service area and she said I should've read that in the contract. I said well TDS employee that I spoke to when I originally called and scheduled to do the transfer and set up at the new place should've said to me oh by the way you are breaking your contract by moving. I felt discriminated that they tell me I can't move. They are a terrible company to have tv and internet service with. Poor communication, terrible services and bad TV service.

      worst service ever? fibre cable damaged and neighbor had no connection. My service on and off every 5 minutes. Reported ove 5 weeks ago and all they did id connect neighbors connection to MY HOUSE on the ground. Will not commit to specific date to re bury and cannot even get an estimated date. they say in the hand of contractor!

      worst service ever. Service off every 5 minutes. they said no problem. after calling 4 times, they replaced underground cable accross my front lawn. Tore up yard and broke sprinkler system. called 6 more times and they kept saying someone would call me. No calls in a month. Also put a splitter in my box across to neighbors and cable on top of ground. We both said no splitter, no cable from my house. that was over a month ago. NO fix! Dont ever let them ruin your yard and sprinkler system.

      I'd give no stars if possible. Because of where we live, for decades we have had no other internet choices other than TDS. The latest episode involved TDS email addresses I've had for many years that just all of a sudden stopped working on my email client. (My non-TDS email addresses still work fine.) Customer support was not at all helpful, blaming it on incorrect email client settings and configurations, etc. (really!?!?...did I mention I've had these addresses for years!?) when all the error messages I was getting were pointing to problems on the TDS side. I've contacted support THREE times already and have gotten nowhere; this has been going on for almost two weeks with no resolution. Additionally, our internet speeds are not much better than dial-up, although we were recently advised to change some wiring, which we did...and it did absolutely nothing, other than I am not constantly getting kicked offline at certain times of day when our neighbors are also online.

      Been with TDS for 6 years. Honestly service has been on and off but recently a technician came to see why my connection was bad. He found old connectors were still working and left behind. No one ever bothered to see this was interfering with reception. His name is Zander. He should be running TDS!! My service is finally A+. Thanks Zander you are brilliant.

      Hidden fees after relentless advertising for lower cost than other internet providers. Then when I canceled the plan and sent the modem back in their package well before their 10day deadline, they now say never recieved the correct modem as if I had 2 and reported a different modem serial number and charged me 158$ for this different serial number. Customer support is hard to connect with always transferring to another "supervisor" that can't help. Customer support is not in the ** and they have no authority to help!

      I was closing my account due to a move and no longer needed TDS service. TDS forced me to pay the amount due until my account was closed, that was in December 2024. TDS owed me what I was forced to overpay which was $104. We called multiple times on why we had not received the amount we were owed back. On April 21 (4 months later) we finally received something in the mail and it wasn't even a check, it was a prepaid debit card with the amount. TDS should be required to refund me with a check and NOT a prepaid debit card. This was a terrible customer experience and not a company I will choose to do business with.

      We had TDS since 1982, and recently terminated the land line (no need) and internet services (no access to high speed in our area). We were bundled with DN for TV. TDS was still billing me for DN services but I wasn't allowed online bill pay access because I technically didn't have an account through TDS-but was still being billed from TDS. They never sent me paper statements and then wanted to charge a fee for sending out those paper statements, and they would not email a copy of the bills I did not receive so I could review it. They charged a $60 fee that not one of the 6 customer representatives I spoke to could tell me what it was for. The 6th rep hung up on me. They never disclosed that when I terminated services that my auto pay (due to come out prior to termination date) deactivates the day you call in to terminate services. I sat on the phone for 2hrs with nothing resolved. If a bundled service is terminated, and I am no longer a TDS customer, the bundle should be dissolved and DN bills come directly from them OR if bills are still coming from TDS then one should have access to their online access/billing. Overall, their customer service was absolutely horrendous, their website is not user friendly, they have no app, and their service in our area is completely outdated.
