On February 6, 2025, at 1am, I submitted a request online to fix a flat tire. From the list of timeframes, I chose the option of 10am -12pm for February 6, 2025. I received a text confirmation that they would be there between those hours (10am-12pm). I did this thinking that I would give them some time to find a provider, I was trying to be proactive. Today is Feb 7 at 9:38am and I still have not had service, even though they called me last night and stated that someone would be able to fix my tire this morning between 8:30 - 10:30am. I have received several automated texts this morning stating, "call volume is high" and they are working with dispatch. This is the same as the last 10 messages I received. I purchased this membership in 2022, and I have never used it until now, and now I can't get service. When speaking with one of the representatives last night, they had suggested I use my car insurance company to assist me. Really? They (AAA) were my emergency road service; it's why I PAY each year "to have peace of mind." "Expect more when you need AAA Road assistance" (quoted from their website) This is a blatant misrepresentation of their services. In no way would I ever recommend anyone to use this organization as emergency road assistance - much less a non-emergency. Truly, if you have this membership with the intention to rely on it for safety of you, or a loved one, do NOT trust this organization for assistance.

Horrible service. Waited on the side of the road after a vehicle accident while "waiting in the queue". Finally given a time but an hour past their projected arrival time they still had not shown up (now 5 hours since initial call). Called them and eventually got past all the automated stuff and was told "it was a glitch". Now waiting another hour for tow truck to arrive (6 hours total).Have had AAA for decades solely for this roadside protection. Not worth it.

I've been a member of AAA on and off for many years. There was a time when this was a great company saving people in trouble, but today's AAA is little more than a scam. When I renewed my membership last year they told me I could add a friend to my account "free", so I did. I questioned the generosity several times but was assured it was really 'free'. Later I found out the temporary generosity was a plan to charge me more than $60 the following year that I would have never intentionally authorized. The friend that I added "free" is a senior lady who uses a ******. During the year she became stranded in a dangerous neighborhood when her car wouldn't start back up. She called AAA for roadside assistance. They told her they were busy and gave her no estimate of when they would come, if ever. She sat there for more than two hours in the dark, in the cold, in an unsafe location as a vulnerable senior female waiting and waiting, getting colder and colder. Eventually a family member got off work and drove 20 miles to her location and was able to restart her car. AAA NEVER SHOWED UP. They also never bothered to express the tiniest bit of remorse about failing to provide the service people count on and paid for, or about leaving a senior woman in the cold and dark in an unsafe situation abandoned for HOURS.When my membership was 'auto-renewed' I was charged over $60 for the "free" friend without any request for my approval and I was never sent a confirmation email or receipt. It felt like a mugging they were hoping I wouldn't notice. When I caught it they had already charged me but agreed to refund it. AAA is undependable, self-serving, callous, deceitful and dishonorable. I am ashamed for the people who chose voicemail over answering the phone for members who could be stranded across a train track and need help.I can't understand who would possibly purchase auto insurance from this undependable, cold-hearted company!!!

AAA IS THE WORST INSURANCE!!!! This company should be nonexistent I never heard of a company canceling your insurance because of a day gap and keep 200 dollars when my husband paid in full. I will never or recommend this insurance company ever.

Requested towing for the first time. The app said they were going to arrive over 3 hours ago and still have not come. Nor have they followed up with any updates or a message.

Zero stars should be an option. Godawful service. Actually, it's not really even a service. I've been a member for 21 years, and I can now say with certainty that their service has become absolute trash. You don't get to talk to a human until after they no-show. Then they won't give you the phone number for the tow service they are sending, because of it's "against their policy." God forbid you'd be able to contact the company who's service you're waiting for. After waiting for the estimated 3 hours, I asked them for the name of the tow service, I looked up their phone number and talked to the driver, who had NINE STOPS before mine. (This is 4pm after and 11:45am request). Initial estimated arrival was 2:45pm. They must pay these tow companies like trash. They're just fleecing their members for fees that go straight in their pockets.AAA has no regard for people's time, let alone their safety. *** You AAA. You ****!

I spent over 10 hours waiting for a tow. Multiple times the dispatchers told me Id have one within the hour, but the tows never showed. Id call back and get the same story. I paid over $200 per year for the service, but they do not deliver.

Waited 8 hours for a tire change in Linn County because of a flat tire and they never showed up! Called Triple A over 10 times through this entire ordeal which started at 11:22a.m and ended at 7:18p.m. To give background, there was no snow today, and the roads were in perfect condition.I called triple AAA at 11:22AM, and received a text message with a link to a form. I filled out the form and the estimated appointment time was originally listed as 12:50pm. At noon, I received a call from an automated message system stating that a technician would be there in 52 minutes. When the time came, no one showed up. I called again, this time I waited in the que to speak to an actual person. I was told someone was on their way, and again, no one showed up or contacted me regarding the service I had requested. I called many more times, and waited over 4 HOURS for a tire change, and continued to have no one show up.A Linn County Sheriff stopped to at least give me a ride home and tagged the car. Later in the day when I got home, Triple A gave excuses - providers werent available or were very busy or they canceled the service. Why was none of this communicated to me? I had sat in the car for hours, waiting and waiting and waiting. When I finally got a call from a provider called *** ** at 6:20pm, they informed me Triple AAA had not paid them, and that if I wanted my tire changed, I would have to privately pay or wait for Triple A to pay them before they could come out. I didnt feel at this point I would be able to rely on Triple A, so I moved forward with privately paying. I will be requesting reimbursement from the company. This is not the customer service I was expecting when I needed triple AAA to be there for me. No communication on my claim request, or any updates on the estimated time frame it would take someone to arrive. This company no longer cares for their customers as they once did, and I hope this review warns others of Triple As incompetence.

I've met an agent in AAA that is EXTREMELY unprofessional, impatient, and arrogant. They initially gave me a quote of 800+ dollars for 6 months. But in the following 3 months, AAA kept evaluating my case and increasing the price. Up to now, they have charged me over 1200 dollars!!!! And here is my experience: I got my first car in the end of August, and called AAA. The agent keeps complicating everything but gave me a decent 800+ offer. It could have been a happy story for everyone. But in October, I suddenly received message from AAA that they would stop my service. I was like WHAT?!!? After multiple phone call, it's been figured out that initially they gave me a discount to purchase the AAA auto and home insurance together. But nobody ever told me that and I have to pay $200 more to solve this issue. This is not the end. At the end of November, AAA automatically charged $160 from my bank for no reason. I had to call them again. This time, they told me they re-evaluated my case and removed two discounts, one from not registering AAA safe drive and one from having no prior contract with AAA. Again, I was shocked since no one has mentioned these when they gave me the offer. In fact, when the agent gave me the offer, he was very clear about my situation. But he did not mention anything and just threw the $800 offer to me. He also held an arrogant attitude and also interrupt me with my question so I have to spend a lot of time asking questions to make things clear to me. If I knew it could cost me over $1200 on AAA insurance, I would never purchase it. This whole thing sounds like a trap that AAA attracts the customers with a fake decent offer by hiding something, and then keeps charging you with excuses. So please be cautious when AAA also gave you a decent offer. It can be a LIE!

Hello After reviewing your auto policy, it cancelled on 02-24-2024 due to non-pay. There is no evidence to show a payment was debited from account for auto due to it being cancelled. The AAA membership is a separate product which cover road service, and this is still active. A payment for $63 debited but returned. This is what you are speaking about. If you have questions about the membership please call number on back of card. AAA
