I would give this Zero stars but I'm unable too. I have insurance, have proof and certification of the insurance but refuse to bill insurance. That's fine I totally understand their policies. However, I don't agree with them requiring a $200 upfront payment because I am considered "self file". I drove 45 minutes to an appointment to be refused care unless I paid the $200. ******************** can't support this clinic anymore.

This facility is a 'hospital' but they do not tell you that. I saw a doctor in a clinic, which is the type of appointment that I had booked. I at no time received any hospital services, no tests, no labs, no gown, no stay, no procedure, nothing but a conversation. I didn't even have a physical exam done! I was put in an ordinary clinic room for my appointment. Imagine the shock when I got TWO bills for this appointment. One was for seeing the doctor in the hospital (which never happened) and one for seeing the doctor in the clinic (which did happen). When I called them and asked what is going on I was told well he is a doctor that also works in a hospital but since you saw him in clinic we charged you for both. WHAT?!?!? They then added insult to injury and said I should've checked with my insurance first. So, how was I supposed to know about this little scam before my bill arrived? To which they said well too bad, it's your bill. I have never in my life heard to anything like this. I have seen plenty of doctors that have hospital privileges in a clinic and did not pay 2 different bills. This is nothing more than a scam and I hope that people see this and think twice about not only using this facility but also Aurora Healthcare. They are clearly losing business and have found a (illegal?) loophole to get more money. Thankfully I have choices in healthcare here and no longer use them.

Any attempt to get to a nurse or someone that left you a message is nothing short of a miracle if you get through at all. The disconnect between primary doctors and potential surgeons or specialist is a time warp at best. Equally the disconnect between what the primary agrees is necessary for a minor surgery vs. what the surgeon asks for vs what the anesthesiologist is similarly disjointed resulting in a patient having to repeat tests at their expense due to lack of follow up. Curious if this is a result of the recent acquisitions or what, but apparently this is what we are stuck with. First things first: Fix your receptionist so that there is not a 10 minute wait, you have to give her so much information just to get to the primary physicians nurse who called in the first place.

Negative stars if that was a choice -My daughter has been seeing doctors about what we think could be MS or an auto immune disease of some sorts going on 3 or 4 yrs now she has changed Dr's a couple times (all through Aurora) what a waste of time..... she is a slight hypochondriac and because of this the current hartford female Dr says it's all in your head... what?... she has muscles allover her body twitching all the time (has it on video) and her white blood cell count always seems off - but wait. It's in her head. She has had a MRI of her brain which showed a little tumor / mass in her pituitary but a specialist ruled it out saying it's too small she has recently seen a specialist for a nuerology test of muscles and that was a joke the lady decided to only test 1 arm and 1 leg instead of the 2 Apts that were scheduled (1 apt should have been both arms and the second for both legs) so my daughter called her primary ************************* from ******** and asked her to re put in the order for the other 2 limbs and she said No, wait until your end of September apt with the specialist, they can decide - every time we have to see a specialist it waiting a month or more - so wait till end of Sept then depending what they say wait until November for the other test - in that time if damage is being done to her muscles it could be much worse (if someone knows of a good Dr please write a review of them - thousands of dollars in bills for no answers and a current primary who said it in your head (while I was there) and if you don't like it find a different dr. *** laughed at my daughter - really she should be fired along with her nurse that lies and we have proof of that on my chart (this review is based off of her current primary) ******

I think Aurora health Care *****. They don't care about the people. All they want is everyone money. Then send you home don't care about what is going to happen to you. Just say if something happens just call 911. So they can charge you more money. **** this place. I'm finding a different doctor some other place NOT at Aurora. The hunt starts tomorrow.

Aurora has so degraded service that it's obvious all they care about is money not patient care. No wonder Doctors and NP's don't stick around very long.

I'm extremely upset and alienated by my experience with this medical facilities and its staff members. There are a multitude of articles, studies, journals that state there are often negative results during a biopsy for arterial temporitis. To ignore the fact that I have had a diagnosed anuerism of recent, a stroke code in a hospital 5 days after the biopsy (which is a risk of this condition), that I have pain on the temple when it began, vision changes, jaw pain, doctors examined the area and saw noticible swelling and made a determination that I should have the biopsy. The area was responsive to steropds and I was on steroids and have been responsive to them, prior to the procedure. To be told whatever, you can be treated for your symptoms but we don't care because they are pretty much non existant in our opinion at this point regardless, is unacceptable to me. This is the second time this week this has occurred at Aurora. Should I wait until I actually do have a stroke that can be verified only by lab results, or else it didn't occur in someones expert opinion? I've gone to Aurora for years, but I honestly don't think I plan to return and I certainly don't trust any of its medical staff.Sincerely, ***************************
