HIPPA Law was not followed! My 26 year old daughter was sick and I went with her to Urgent care. My daughter gave her insurance and made sure that when notified that it was her phone number they called. She went in to see the Urgent care doctor who did not write out the prescription correctly first of all. Instead of Aurora calling my daughter with strep throat results they called me which is in violation of the HIPPA Law. Now I am receiving emails regarding (I) the mother can see her results, but again my daughter never received anything. She told Aurora all this information when she went in to Urgent care. Again this is violation of the HIPPA LAW. I am losing trust in Aurora as my oldest daughter has children and they are in the process of a divorce. Again not this particular Aurora but the one in Grafton allowed a woman not listed on the contact to pose as the step mother of my daughter’s children. My daughter found out and contacted a supervisor at Aurora and now that they made this mistake and know they did they will not talk with my daughter anymore. This makes two major mistakes that Aurora has made within the past 4 months breaking HIPPA AND YET LETTING A STRANGER POSE AS THE STEP MOTHER and calling that person also with information regarding my daughter’s son. AURORA IS ALLOWING THESE BIG MISTAKES TO HAPPEN.

I came to Marinette for work and unfortunately had to go to see a healthcare professional. My Cigna insurance showed Aurora was in the network so I made an online appointment to avoid waiting once I went to the clinic. Well, I waited for 45 minutes past the 1:00pm appointment I made. I met with an NP. She diagnosed me (after the covid test and other tests I was not aware of) and then I was told I have to go to Green Bay to see a specialist. I offered to pay after my 3 hour visit but was told they would send it online. They sure did! My total bill for making an appointment and having to wait 45 minutes and then be at the clinic for a total of 3 hours was over $600!!! I understand the medication part but the visit with a NP for $490.00!!! With my insurance I had to pay over $450.00 for that visit! I could have gone to an urgent care and would have been cheaper! What a rip off! Be advised, Aurora Advanced Healthcare will code it differently in order to get as much money rather than care for someone. FYI, the visit to the ENT specialist was HALF the cost! I do not recommend anyone from out of state to go to this institution. And for the locals, take the ride to the nearest city and see a "real" doctor. Very sad to see how people can get into medical debt real quick. Stay away from Aurora Advanced Health unless you have money.

If a patient is willing to make payments plans they make it nearly impossible to work within ones means. They demand a first payment to be placed on a credit card ..then they try to sneak in this will be an automatic withdrawal every month without asking permission. That's unethical. They tell you what you must send in to avoid the threat of collections. Aurora is horrible to work with. Doctors are complacent but very willing to refer you to a few specialist. Call them and you will wait 9 mo to see them. Advocate is only interested in their bottom line, not patient care

The walk in clinic is run horrible. Transferred us to the er which was probably the worst experience Ive ever had in a hospital. 90 year old woman in extreme pain had to wait 5 hours in a waiting room to the point of passing out in pain. Never had the ability to see a doctor and multiple people were put in front of her with far less issues the only thing that was said was we will check on it. (Never happened)I would rather have driven 30 minutes and went somewhere that people cared about their patients.Useless people and a waste of time for no help.Went to a different hospital and got in and seen in 10 minutes and was back home in an hour.

I was traumatized! I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did. I was in an abusive relationship and I thought I had no way out. One day I started to feel so sick and a pinch in my intestines. Subconsciously, I ended swallowing a cartridge to a Mark *** e-cigarette, which is about three inches long and 3/4 inches wide. So, for me, with a narrow mouth, not something I could imagine swallowing. I had an x-ray done and thats what it looked like but when I was asked, I didnt even realize I had done it. I denied even even the thought of it. I ended up having it surgically removed and while I was still in recovery before I was taken back to my room, the surgeon slammed it on the table in front of me and said, So, you dont smoke these, huh? Before I could get a word out edge wise, he stormed off. I started crying and felt so intimidated and insignificant. I was already in a fragile state at that time coming out of anesthesia, I could barely see straight. A week goes by and Im understandably depressed, I get a letter in the mail from a collections agency. I was fully covered by my husbands military insurance. The surgeon conveniently coded it incorrectly and I was on the phone with collections, Aurora, and my insurance company for days to resolve it. I thought I did. Boy was I wrong. Years later, it pops up on my credit report and I call the collection agency again. I contacted Aurora about the situation along with the insurance company to resolve the situation. Aurora tells me I have a week from WHEN I RECEIVED THE INITIAL PAPERWORK FROM THE COLLECTION AGENCY to resolve it. Now, does that sound like Aurora Health Care cares, provides, or legitimately wants whats best for the customer? Or, does it sound like theyre in it for the money?

Stopped working in 2016 for aurora....can't get my pension till 24...that is 8 years...they hope I die, or forget about the money between time! Not only that..but they're collecting the interest on my money...This company sure knows how to rip-off there employees!...They claim patient interests come first...more like their profit/money are foremost on their minds!! These people who run this racket, are underhanded, deceitful, and are collecting off of everybody else! ....Just went to the ER, got the bill...now I know they are all in this for the MONEY!....they don't care about patients....just their wallets!

Trying to find the emergency room was a nightmare. No signs except at the ER entrance itself. Not even posted on the main sign. My elderly sister needed immediate care and I lost critical minutes trying to find it. It's way off the main building. Had to stop and ask someone. Tried sending a message to the main website but it won't go through because it said I have "trailing spaces." Fortunately my sister was ok but it could have been a very different outcome. The care itself was very good but finding that care was a nightmare. In such high stress situations it should be easy to find an ER. I'm very upset.

Went to Sheboygan Aurora Emergency Room I got there at 4pm with really bad pain in my lady parts. Sat there and waited until 7:30. I kept asking the woman behind her desk how much longer and she kept saying “There’s 2 people ahead of you. This lasted for
3 1/2 hours until I just left at it. I HATE Aurora in general because t there is one other ER in this town. These people will never change.

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's, and they put him on Carpodepa/levadopa with Aurora, the meds were not working so they kept upping them, and he ended up in the ER 8 times, he was having seizures and trouble breathing, he had at least four ambulance calls, he would get to the ER the doctors would say lower the Parkinson's meds, and send him home, he would talk to the neurologist again and he kept upping them, we thought we were going to loose my husband, and he though he was going to die also, so he went to a new neurologist in NeuroScience, and she took him off the Parkinson's medication, and he went back to normal except for some shakes yet and then this new Neurologist in a different clinic wants to put him back on the Carpodepa/levadopa it is like what is wrong with these doctors? I said do you want to put him back on them to finally kill him? There has to be better Parkinson's medication then this, and half the time when you call these Neurologists they ignore your phone calls, now if someone ended up in the ER 8 times, wouldn't you think maybe you are not doing your job as a doctor? Or you are going against your Hippocratic oath, 'first do no harm"...
