Warranty **** of Milwaukee Tool is acting in a FRAUDULENT manner. First: My claims got denied citing lack of proper receipt DESPITE online system showing the receipts were UPLOADED Second: After I e-mailed the receipts (despite uploading the first time), my warranty claims got denied AGAIN citing nothing other than "we have determined that your tool does not qualify for warranty coverage."Zero explanation on why these 3 small batteries (used only in an LED light, in a temp-controlled office setting -- not at a construction site out in elements or in a professional job) are not covered DESPITE ****** under 2 years old and DESPITE the receipts from Home Depot. It seems like techs are conditioned to DENY the coverage, no matter what. This is not just unprofessional but FRAUDULENT.Now the company states they will throw away my batteries unless I pay them more money. This is UNACCEPTABLE.I am not a mechanic, ***************. Just a DIY enthusiast who BARELY used the batteries on a LED light (in a temp contrlled office setting) and even then the batteries are NOT covered? What a SCAM!I want an immediate resolution, before my batteries are trashed.Business Response

[Milawukee Tool is LYING. NOBODY reached out to me. On the contrary, I reached out to their corporate yesterday, before I contacted BBB, and they ignored my attempt. I have no calls. I have no e-mails. Nobody contacted me. And I am out of several batteries that are still under warranty. AGAIN. There is no discrepency. And nobody has reached out to me. And situation remains.]

I sent 3 batteries to Milwaukee Tool (in December 2022). I am told they are only sending back 2 battaries back and after 2/20/2023.

I sent 3 (three) batteries to MilwaukeeTool in December 2022. For reference, the company warranty timeline is 'repair or repace within 7 business days' which clearly has not happened in my case. And now, I am told that the company will only send 2 (two) battaries back to me and that will happen only after 2/20/2023 (due to items being in backorder, they say). So, at the moment, I do not have my batteries back (despite waiting for 2 months) and the business is stating I'll have 2/3 of what I sent to them ... and that is only if I want another month basically.
It is hard to accept such a resolution because it is not a resolution (just a promise of resolution) nor it is complete (to address the issue at hand).

I purchased a Milwaukee 16 magnetic tape measure on Nov 9/2016. By July/2021, I noted that the blade of the tape measure had developed a tear about 6 from the end. Since the tear was sharp (I cut my hand on it) and it prevented the tape measure from retracting smoothly, I confirmed the warranty on the tape measure and contacted Milwaukee Tools via the Contact Page on their website. After several months, I hadnt heard anything back so I contacted Milwaukee at **************, and they indicated since there was no Milwaukee ************** near me, I should email Milwaukee via ******************************* and request a replacement tape measure be sent. On Sept 20, 2021, I sent an email with a photo of the failed taped measure and a copy of my receipt. I know that Milwaukee received the email since I got an automated acknowledgement email back (and started receiving marketing emails from Milwaukee tools). On Dec 7/2021, I sent another email to Milwaukee, I received another automated acknowledgement of my email being received but still didnt receive any resolution response. I have a large tool collection and always try to buy tools with lifetime warranty when available. That is the reason I have dozens of Milwaukee tools, so I was quite surprised by their unresponsiveness. It would seem that the warranty is extremely difficult to make a claim on. I was reminded of this lack of response today when I was buying a gift, and I ended up choosing another brand (also with a lifetime warranty) over Milwaukee because of this lack of support by Milwaukee. I did some searching, and found that there are many complaints poor Milwaukee warranty support, which prompted me to share my story so other potential customers can be aware of this issue. Since my initial email contact with Milwaukee, I have received 180 marketing emails, but no resolution to the warranty issue; from a consumer perspective, obviously Milwaukee has the wrong focus.Business Response

My niece gave a a Milwaukee Heated Jacket M12 for present the past September. I tried charging the rechargealbe battery as per instruction but it does not charge. I called Milwaukee and talked to a certain ***** about it and asked to check for the battery warranty and she replied that I need to take it a designated repair service center and to have them test it or go to the website and complete a form. I asked her if she can do the filling since I tried doing it over the website and wasn't successful ( meaning e-form hangs when I hit continue or try to complete the form). The item that i am complaining is the M12 recachargeable battery with serial number ***************. I find *********************** company of disregarding their warranty by not providing a complete and/or proper proceedure to request for replacement warranted equipment and should be held accountable for such violation. I hope to hear from BBB to assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you.Business Response

I purchased a compact battery powered woodworking router (M18) through Amazon on 6 Jan 2022. I have used it for a total of about ten minutes run time. Now it will not turn on despite trying multiple batteries.I contacted Milwaukee but they told me that, since I purchased it through Amazon, there is no warranty despite this being a brand new product in the original unopened box when I received it. Milwaukee typically warranties their products for five years.Business Response

Thank you for the follow-up. I was contacted by Milwaukee and they provided a shipping label to send my tool to their repair facility. The rep who contacted me asked that I notify her when it is received and they will see that it is done under warranty (5yrs on their tools). I have not heard from the repair facility yet but will hopefully receive a notice this week. Will contact you if this is not resolved satisfactorily. THANK YOU for your assistance in this matter.***************************Initial Complaint

First I want to say I am a loyal Milwaukee customer, I own thousands of dollars in ******************** brand, I don't use anything other than that, I initially made contact with them about a 1000$ tool that Is definitely either made wrong , put together wrong something, I used the tool one time and it started like smoking and going in and out and eventually doesn't work at all any more , it was brand new and I'm a general contractor been that for years I know how to use it , and I know this is wrong , I get a response saying you should send it in to be evaluated, I personally think that's insane I would hope that me being a die hard loyal customer something can be done immediately, for one I need the tool for work that's why I bought it and I even registered it , I think something needs done like immediatelyBusiness Response

I purchased a hammer drill from this company. It no longer works. The product came with a multi-year warranty that is still in effect. Milwaukee is not honoring its warranty and refuses to send me a replacement drill. I have provided them with images of the defective drill and a copy of the physical receipt from original purchase. I've tried without success to have his product replaced with a new one. I also had to go out and purchase a new drill as a result of the company not replacing the one that no longer works. At this point we are hoping to avoid any further delays in ensuring that Milwaukee will honor their warranty. What I am seeking: 1. A replacement Hammer drill, like the one purchased and pictured below sent to: ***************************** ************************************************************************** I've previously made this request without success through the company website, also via 1-800-Sawdust, and again via email with *****************************. I can be reached directly at ************** Thank you for your help.Initial Complaint

My Milwaukee M18 1/2 inch **** cordless drill, batteries, and charger have all failed after one month of light intermittent casual use. I still have no drill. **************** states they are waiting for the drill to be in stock. I have work to do and no drill! This is not what a customer expects when they get a ************************************************* should send me a drill kit that is reliable and works.Business Response
