      It is a really sad day when you own a business, and you purposefully ******** your customers based on their political party. I hope you all go out of business, and no one purchases any of your products! If I could rate you a ZERO I would! But I hope my 1 brings your averages down so people wake up and see what you are really made of and not worthy of making it as a business that caters to all parties.

      Their spices are substandard and when you call customer service they talk down to you. Never using them again.

      You can get better spices for less from other places. Penzey’s isn’t even accredited by the BBB. They also won’t answer if a product has lead in it like turmeric. That should tell you something about the quality of the overpriced spices. They also won’t tell where they are sourced from. I like to do research. Also horrible customer service. If you write the owner on how you disagree with his toxic political views, he’ll take your whole family off the email list. I thought he liked money. He’ll also argue with you if you email him and insult you. Give it a try! He’s easy to rile up. I mentioned this to a store associate once and they looked nervous to comment. In short, don’t give this man who looks like a human thumb the business. He’s full of hate. You can get better spices elsewhere, pay less, and leave politics out of it.

      Used this company till I saw the hate filled political rant. I don't care what your politics are but keep them out of your business. When you are so filled with vitriol and toxins that youcan't keep your mouth shut, then maybe you should close shop and run for the democratic party.

      Need to leave no stars. Obviously the owner doesnt realize people with different political viewpoints enjoy cooking also, maybe even on gas stoves! After noticing the blatant comments about Republicans on this website I like so many others will no longer be shopping here.

      I think Penzey's offers a superior quality of spices compared with what I can find in the market. I read other reviews and find that the good reviews talk about the quality of the products, while the bad reviews talk very angrily about how they disagree with the owner's open political and social views. You can figure out what is going on here. I continue buying from them and, btw, I think it is courageous to talk about your views, knowing that by doing so you risk loosing a few customers... not many businesses are willing to do that.
