      The gym itself is nice, but the employees regularly are disrespectful and don't seem to care too much about anything except talking to each other, playing on the computer and looking up movies and stuff, listening to music on their ear buds, playing on their phones, or just walking around and talking to their friends at the gym. The manager loudly asked me if I had a deadly disease that I am spreading to all the customers right at the front desk during peak hours in front of 40 plus people as they all heard and stared at us when I checked in one day, instead of bringing me to a private area. Which is definitely a violation of HIPAA laws and made me so uncomfortable that I started driving further to other gyms for weeks after. I constantly complain about all the garbages being full on the weekend and soap being empty in the bathrooms and they dont do them until Mondays, doesnt matter how many times I say something. And thats when they have 2 employees on the clock, but they just talk up front the whole day instead. They flirt with the customers and date them. And today treated me rudely because I asked one of their gfs if I could borrow 2 45 lb plates from her Smith machine. I don't pay to be disrespected and put in a bad mood, I come here to work on myself and be happy. Edit: After posting this review, the manager who was done with his shift and left hours ago, came in waving the review in my face while I'm with my buddy and was being a loud ******* to me in front of the whole gym and threatened me instead of politely trying to talk or solve the problem. Yep, my buddy started walking around telling everyone about it because he was ****** that the manager came in to threaten me and disrespect me more because the front desk called him and told him I left a review. Kept asking if I still want to workout here as if he was gonna ban me if I didn't remove the review. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from any employee, especially a manager.

      I was told I should put my account on hold. I was not told how long it would be on hold nor was I contacted when I was charged again. I contacted them for a refund, but was never issued. This month I was charged again. Be very careful before you join!!!

      I have tried to cancel my membership fir weeks after realizing they have been charging after zi moved out I state during COVID. You can only talk to young immature staff who don't have a clue what they are doing. They make it impossible to cancel membership which is purely intentional.

      On February 28, 2025, at Planet Fitness ******, a male crew member, Josh, publicly confronted me over an alleged complaint that I made another member uncomfortable by “staring.” General Manager Kayla and Assistant Manager Stephanie documented and verified this claim without ever communicating with me. Given that the complaint was based on subjective perception, “some of my stares” how could they confirm my actions as inappropriate? Their gender bias to take the woman's side and confirm the uncomfortable stares demonstrates clear gender bias. Additionally, I was denied the same privacy and anonymity granted to the complainant, further highlighting gender-based discrimination in how this was handled. Just a week prior, Kayla also singled me out over a shoe policy, raising concerns about a pattern of unequal treatment.

      Offers a lot of perks and amenities. Not much of a gym goer honestly but I think it'll work for me. Most of the staff pretty friendly, some could use some training in customer service though. This is only my second visit. The sign up process gave me and the employee quite a hassle completing as if it refuses me a membership I'm paying for. And the wifi is strong but keeps forcing me off force some reason, I assume it's just prejudice. Hopes this can be a good experience for trying something different this year.

      I canceled membership with planet fitness. Back in early 2021. I noticed just now that I was getting doubled billed for an account in end of 2024. I called and the team members were very respectful and were chatting with me about how wrong this was. And that the manager was going to contact me.Then I got in contact with the manager. Because I had to call them. They claimed that the team members told me there was nothing for them to do.I told her I canceled back in late 2020 . And changed my billing to a different planet fitness gym. But what happened was he didnt cancel my membership and created a new one. So I started getting double billed billed for my one membership.She told me I wasnt going to be able to get a refund because it would be over 1000$. I asked if that was the only reason and she agreed. And that it would look terrible to the corporate manager that this happened. She then discussed because no one works here since 2020 that she cant ask anyone so they cant issue the refund. I said is this still the same planet fitness that I signed up for? She said yes. So it is related to the same planet fitness.I asked to talk with her manager. She told me no because he wont have an answer to me either. I said well what can it hurt if I do? She denied him..Sounded like she was tip toeing around not wanting to deal with it because of the situation. She then told me I havent used my account since 2020 when I told her I canceled it. So everything she is saying lines up to me wrongfully getting billed. But she wont do anything about it because of getting corporate involved. I told her Ill leave my information for her manager to contact me please so we can chat about this she said no. Because she doesnt want to share his information. I explained I am the one that is sharing my personal info not him. She then agreed.She explained they did cancel but it didnt finalize and its not their fault. What do I do?

      The WORST business model. Have tried to cancel a $24 membership for months and months after moving out of state. Apparently, "you can only cancel if you show up in person to cancel" or send a letter. Sending a letter has not worked. Next, we will be filing a claim with our bank for fraudulent charges and moving forward from there. Rude staffing. Management is HORRIBLE for being aware of these problems and creating solutions. Instead, seems to be just money hungry looking to charge monthly for zero activity and choose not to cancel memberships when requested in WRITING from out of state.

      Planet Fitness a horrible management team. I made a complaint to there corporate office in June that I was being harassed constantly by there staff saying that I needed to sign a new tanning waiver. I signed one when I joined and another one in January of 2024 so they had multiple ones on file. I emailed there corporate office and they chose to ignore my complaint. This all should have been handled in June when I reached out to there corporate office. Well in September the local club manager harassed me again someone named Kierra. They tried to claim that that had me sign the wrong form but that is a complete lie. I told them they have multiple copies of the tanning waiver on file. So I do not think this manager and there corporate office have a clue. This manager was unable to produce the forms I signed in the past when I asked for them. I said ***** you and walked out. I really feel like I was being harassed by there staff. I remind you I signed everything when I joined and then again in January of 2024. Two weeks after this happened on September 14th I tried going to another planed fitness location and I found out this manager at the Greenfield club canceled my membership. I believe that has to be illegal to cancel a contact without informing me by a letter. I called there corporate office 4 weeks ago now and the young lady that answered said she would have a manager from corporate call me within 3-5 days. It has now been 30 days and no one has called me back. I am now going to write a letter to the CEO Colleen ******* . I do not recommend Planet Fitness to anyone. They call it the judgement free zone but there employees do not have a clue and I feel I was harassed. Sincerely **** * ********* **

      Absolutely terrible experience, they make it extremely difficult to cancel membership. Was charged 6 months after I canceled and to physicaly change my bank account to get it to stop.

      Planet fitness has been fraudulently charging my cards for over 6 months. I've attempted to cancel my membership only a few months after signing up. "Cancel anytime!". I've filed numerous charge backs with my credit card company, have gotten new credit cards, and yet they still somehow are able to charge my credit cards?
      I went to ********* fitness before they were bought out by PF. When that went through, without communication, my membership was automatically transferred, payment details and all to planet, where they were charging me $45 a month. That's what ********* was charging me. At the time, PF didn't have a membership near that amount. Please tell me how that's allowed. Not to mention I go in after all of that, wanting to sign up at the $10 a month membership that was being advertised with $1 sign up. I go in and that "promo must have just ended". Get billed the full sign up fee, billed their "yearly maintenance fee" right away, and my membership is $15 a month??? None of this was explained at the time of signing up. I was told the contracts I was signing that detailed it would be emailed to me to review. I never got any copies of those documents. Hope you can read contracts on their credit card machine.
      This company doesn't want you to get fit. They want your payment details on file so they can bill you month after month while they pray you forget about it, while making it as difficult as possible to cancel. They can't keep their books straight, charge whatever they want to your account hoping you won't notice. I've been a member at 5 or 6 different gyms now, and planet fitness is by far the worse run organization I've ever been to. Borderline criminal.
      Stop charging my account and cancel my membership.
