      We bought a solar pool cover with a 5yrs warranty. After nine months the bubbles are all falling off. their warranty does not cover the bubbles. The warranty is worthless. With out the bubbles, it is not a solar cover and the little plastic pieces get all over the place and plug the filters.

      We purchased a pool from Doheny's and installed in late September of 2021. In late August of 2022, our pool developed a leak in which Doheny's was notified of. The leak was located at one of the seams of the liner. We were informed by Zachary (Manager) that at our own expense we could have the liner removed, purchase a new liner and have it installed, again at our own expense. We could then send it to the manufacturer (at our own expense) and if they deemed it to be a manufactured defect, they would reimburse us for the cost of the liner, but not the cost of having it removed, mailed back, and reinstalled. So what does the warranty cover....pretty much nothing. So, I decided, hey, let's call a local competitor (Hansen's Pool and Spa) and see what their policy is on pool liners. Vastly different! I was told that the section of the pool liner where the leak was happening needed to be cut out and they would send it in to the manufacturer to determine if it was a manufacturer defect or not. If yes, they would cover the cost of a new liner including installation costs in the first year and if it happened after the first year it would be prorated after that. If you want to save time, money and stress....just go with a company that stands behind their products...not Doheny's

      I ordered a pump for an inground pool. Received it in 3 days. The pump was damaged. Called the number on the box. Talked to a John. Was told he was sending me a Fed Ex return and sending a replacement. Would receive it in 2 days. Never received. Called the number a week later. Was told they can't find any information. Transferred to customer service. Now being told I have to return the broken one first. This was not the conversation I had with John. They have training issues. I'm now with out my pool for r 2 weeks. Asked to be transferred to a person in charge and was denied. Everyone should know what a disappointment this company is.

      I bought a 40 lb bucket of pool tablets i April 2022. I opened the bucket in July and every tablet but the top layer is broken. I called them and opened a case. After they found out that I had used a few of them, they decided to just stop any contact with me. Do not buy from this company

      Hello,I apologize but we had responded to our email chain and offered to either return the damaged bucket back to us for a replacement or that we would be able to issue a credit of 10% if you wanted to keep the product as it is still useable. This offer still stands and is documented on your account. Thank you.

      I ordered a slide in June. Fairly fast delivery but the slide was damaged and wrong color. I requested a refund. They said they could send a new slide in the correct color. I asked for verification of the new color and they said they couldn't send an order confirmation until the slide was shipped. No confirmation sent but two days later they called and said the slide will arrive in a few days but the wrong color. I asked them to cancel the order and issue my refund. They didn't. I found tracking through our local freight company who confirmed the order was not cancelled and I refused the order. Again, I requested a refund. They said they couldn't issue refund until the slides made it back to the vendor. I stayed in contact with the freight company. Both slides sat for two weeks because the vendor wouldn't approve shipping back to them. Eventually the slides were shipped back. I called repeatedly requesting my refund. They said when the slides make it back, it'll be an additional 7-10 days to issue a refund. I followed tracking given to me by the freight company, which Doheny's said they didn't have, and contacted them with verification the slides were received by the vendor July 21st and requested my refund. I paid for the slide June 23rd. It's August 9th and still no refund. Although every issue was by fault of Doheny's or the vendor (Global Products), I have not been issued a refund. They stopped returning my calls. Still no refund. I've taken it up with my credit card company.

      We ordered a new pool solar cover which said had a 7 year warranty. Half way through the pool season our pool is covered in dots. Guess what? Warranty doesnt cover that part of the cover falling apart. We would suggest not purchasing from Dohenys. Very disappointed.

      If I could put zero stars I would. I purchased a Hayward pool Heat pump from Doheny’s. I live in a state where I can Only use the heat pump for about five months out of the year. The heat pump was purchased in March 2021. The item kept getting back ordered and was not delivered until May 6, 2021. I live in a state where we’re only can use the pool for about five months out of the year. The heat pump was installed in July 2021. It worked fine however when we reinstalled it this year in May 2022 it worked fine for about a month and then thru a code. I immediately called Hayward who advised me that I needed to contact her Doheny’s directly because that’s who we purchased it through. Doheny‘s wanted to know nothing and advised us to contact Hayward. This went on for about two weeks who would take responsibility for a heater pool pump that was less than a year old. Doheny‘s advised because it was over the 12 month warranty there’s nothing they can do the problem is ours. I advised the Dohenys customer rap that the problem was two weeks outside of the warranty date. I even spoke to a supervisor and nobody wanted to take responsibility and they obviously do not back up their products. The customer service was awful from Doheny‘s and I would never buy or recommend buying from them again.
