      Incredibly frustrated. Purchased a desk, which we paid Ashley to put together. A week after we received the desk, we attempted to move it slightly and immediately noticed that the screws attaching one of the legs to the desk had completely pulled out of the bottom of the desk. This must have been evident when the desk was put together, but we were not notified. I attemped to return the desk, but was told that because it was over 72 hours, the return would not be accepted. So frustrated that Ashley will not take back what is clearly a defective item. The defect was not immediately evident to us upon delivery, but should have been evident to the installers. Ashley should allow returns if a defect is discovered within a reasonable amount of time after an item has been delivered.

      We ordered all our appliances 2 ago from this company. Waited a year which is understandable because of the shipping issues. Less than a year after we had the appliances our refrigerator died. We immediately called to get it serviced & bought the extended warranty. Had to deal with bot conversions, no humans. Terrible customer service. Finally reached a human & was told the soonest they could come up was a week 1/2 out. Unacceptable! We called again & they said they could have someone come on Friday. So at 6:00 in the afternoon a young man comes but in the end he has no parts! They have to order them! This is not how it should be done. Appliance companies always have a service truck with parts on hand. You should have parts on hand especially when we paid so much money for an extended warranty! We are living out of coolers & food is going to waste. Food is not cheap nowadays. I am beyond livid with the whole experience & would never shop with them again.

      We have shopped at multiple Ashley HomeStore locations over the years. We have usually had a great experience. We visitied the Ashley Outlet in Oshkosh, WI, and purchased a sectional on 11/05, that was expected to arrive 11/18. We were very happy with that date, since we were hosting for Thanksgiving. We received great service there from the salesperson. We later received a call asking us if we would like to accept delivery earlier. Of course we agreed. Our delivery arrived 11/11, and there could not have been 2 more inexperienced movers. I think they hit every surface of my house from the front door to the second floor room. My walls, banisters, ceiling, and door all have damage. My stair railings are now loose, I am assuming because they were pushing up against it. Beyond the damage to my home, they casued damage to the sectional. There are multiple streaks of light grey paint (from rubbing against my walls), the edges of the sectional has holes and the wood is showing through, and there are a few holes in the back. The driver/supervisor apologized, and took pictures of everything, which he sent to the Care department. He said they would contact me probably within an hour. That was Friday. I called on Monday, 11/14, and didn't get ahold of anyone. I called 11/15, and was told that yes, it was sent to claims, and someone would be reaching out. I spoke to someone on 11/17, and was told that claims offering me $275 for the repairs. If I thought it would cost more to repair, I can get estimates and have them resubmit the claim. I am sure I can probably repair the damage, but I would think a company as large as Ashley could hire out contractors to have the damages repaired. They surely aren't factoring the time I am taking out to find a contractor, for damages I didn't cause to my 4 month old house. I had also been told that it is a different department that would be handling the claim for the sectional. I still have not heard from them.

      They collect the full balance due fast enough. But it's been well over a month and no furniture. I called for status and was told the delivery date I was given was "just an estimate". The new estimate is some time in November, but hey, again, that's just another estimate. So basically they'll deliver it whenever they feel like it and there's nothing I can do about it. The "customer service" person was rude and hung up on me. I called back and she hung up on me a second time. So basically, I can't cancel the order no matter how long it is "delayed", I cannot get a refund, and if you call to complain, they have no issue just hanging up the phone. Please read all of these ONE STAR reviews and understand you shop here at your own peril. I wish I would have looked up their BBB profile before I set foot in that horrible place. Meanwhile, I got one piece at Steinhafels nearby, the staff was super polite, and I got that piece a few days after paying for it. I so regret stepping into Ashley Furniture, and I never will again.

      Hello - We do apologize that you had experienced delays in receiving your product. The last thing we want is to tell our customers that there are delays from the manufacture but unfortunately that has been a challenge that all businesses have faced. We too have inventory ready to go same day but the product you purchased was "Custom" furniture which is made according to your **************** choices which does take much longer to manufacture just for you as discussed when you went through the custom order process. This customer order policy also states that there is no cancelation/returns on custom. We do apologize again for the delays. Best, F&AM

      Wow, even your response to my review is ridiculously late. The furniture took forever to come. I wanted to just cancel and find something else. I was told I couldnt cancel the order because it was custom. It was NOT custom furniture by any stretch of the imagination. It was exactly the same as the floor display. They said I HAD TO choose the pillow fabric. I didnt want to choose the pillow fabric. I would have accepted standard pillow fabric, but they said I had to select the pillow fabric (again, it was only a couple of pillows - nothing to do with the actual furniture). And now I know why you do that. Because then you can claim it is custom so it cant be canceled or returned. THAT IS A SCAM. Your claim this is happening to every business is false. As I mentioned in my review, *********** had no problem getting me my furniture on time. And they do allow cancellations and returns. So I guess it is just you.

      This company is terrible i can't imagine how are they doing business like this ! I feel pity for the salesperson who do not know what is being delivered than what was ordered. Their logistics sucks so badly that front office people don't have any idea. The inventory data differs from what they actually send to customers home . THe inventory shows the availability of furniture but in reality there are several parts missing . This incident happened with my bed . They sent a defective foot board which is California king but i ordered a king bed. The store bed was different than what they sent. They haven't sent the planks and also wrong size footboard cosmetic issues. They have installed this bed frame which is taking space and its being a poor communication and logistics issue. This has been a troublesome and painful experience from Ashley, we as a customer would get never get any furnitures from them in near future.

      This is the worst place to buy furniture! I have a recliner that broke right after delivery. Took 3 months to get a idiot to look at it and then they said they had to order parts. Nothing yet, recliner is still broken but they said parts are ordered. It’s been 7 months now and nothing yet and now I can’t even get them to return my calls or emails. I will stop back at that store everyday after work and try my hardest to warn all the customers of the junk they sell if this isn’t resolved soon. I cannot believe how bad the customer service is at this store. COMPLETE JUNK BEING SOLD HERE!!!
