      Steinhafels purchasing was not terrible but if I could give a 0 star review to their warranty process I would. They must contract out their services so we are currently working with 3 different companies that are not great at communicating to simply get one chair base fixed. Companies are ServeCo. and Premier Furniture Consulting, in addition to Steinhafels. Very frustrating.

      Very upset with Steinhafels. We purchased several pieces of furniture and purchased the pet warranty on a leather sofa. Not only do we have scratches on our sofa from our cat that needs to be repaired, but the couch is sagging terribly giving me back pain. We reached out to steinhafels who referred us to the warranty company, Serveco.com. They sent someone out to examine our sofa and told us that it needed to be replaced, but that is where it ended. We never heard back from them again. I have called the company and they have not called me back. I have sent emails to their portal and nothing. I called Steinhafels who told me there is nothing they can do. THIS IS THEIR WARRANTY company!

      Absolutely horrible experience with this company. We purchased several pieces for our home, including a leather sofa, which ran around $1800. We have a cat and a dog so we purchased the VIP pet insurance on the sofa. We also ordered an expensive Danish-type leather chair with an ottoman and after 2 years, nearly all the leather finish has come off and it looks like h*** Of course, they don't care as we didn't buy the warranty for that one. However, the sofa is another story--we paid extra for the VIP pet plus protection warranty and when I first turned in some scratches our cat made, they told me the scratches were not deep enough and to contact them when they were. We had more scratches, I contacted them for that, and because the entire sofa began sagging into the floor it became painful to sit on. It took about two months to get anyone to look at it and when a tech finally came out, he said the sofa needed to be replaced. He was supposed to contact us in 2 to 3 days--never got back to us. Meanwhile, I contacted Steinhafels and they were supposed to contact the company, they did, but nothing happened. I had to file a complaint with the BBB to finally get someone to tell us that they were ordering new foam cores for the sofa, but nothing about the scratches. Finally, after contacting Steinhafels and VIP warranty company at least a dozen times, we were told they won't fix the scratches or replace the sofa because the scratches occurred over more than one day! We have a number of pieces we plan to purchase for our home, but you can bet Steinhafels with their rip-off warranty will not be on our list of furniture stores. Today they are sending someone to replace the cushions, which are attached to the sofa and replacing only the seat covers--meanwhile the rest of the sofa is scratched. Every single piece of furniture we have purchased from Steinhafels in the past 3 years has been horrible. This is unacceptable.

      ******** company--many issues but there is a word count limit. Bought several pieces of furniture. Bought the warranty to cover pet scratches and other damage. contacted them about the scratches as the sales person said they were covered and if they came out to fix more than three times, they replace the couch or give you your money back. That is a lie. Called about scratches, told they were not deep enough to call back when they are deeper. called later about more scratches and sagging cushions--sent an adjustor who said it needed replacement. Company said they won't fix because too many scratches and all they will do is replace cushions. been waiting 8 months for this. Called Steinhafels many times about getting this garbage couch replaced. they do not care 12/18/24 My husband called back the store owner several times, left a message, no return call ***12/20/24 update. After speaking with **** ******, the customer service manager we can confidently say to never buy another item from Steinhafels. He admitted that the salespeople can lie to you, tell you anything to sell the product and the warranty, all the while knowing that they will not stand behind their products. We were repeatedly lied to by Steinhafels and by VIP insurance. I have never witnessed a business run so poorly as this one. The customer service manager **** ****** does not care about the lies, he never offered to have my husband speak with the store manager and never offered to make any restitution for the issues we have faced with every single piece of furniture we have purchased in the past 3 years. This place should be shut down.

      We purchased a sofa set for several thousand dollars a couple of years ago. We also purchased the protection plan because the couch set had a lot of motorized parts. Several months ago, one side of the couch stopped reclining and so we tried to use the plan we purchased for situations such as this, to get it fixed, however it was next to impossible to get a claim processed and then they denied it for reasons not even reported. This ************company has no usable website and no way of getting hold of them. And Steinhafels is not helping. I can only conclude we wasted thousands of dollars on junk and they are a garbage company with garbage support!! Go elsewhere to shop and run away as far as you can from there stores!

      Just wanted to tag onto my 7/20 review as it struck me as Im reading other reviews that the good ones are all about sales people and the sales process, and the bad ones are all about after the sale and the service and related warranty issues.Just wanted to point this out to anyone reading reviews on this company as it says a lot. Anyone can sell something - question is how do they take care of you after the sale. Read the reviews and youll find out.

      Buyer Beware! They will not honor the warranty as you would expect. We purchased two swivel chairs with lifetime warranty on the mechanism. What they will not tell you is that they will only provide parts, so you will either have to fix the chair yourself or pay them for the service at unreasonably high labor rates. They will also not order the parts for you unless you pay them another $125.00 so they just pass you on to the MFG. Very disappointed with their business practices. They should be ashamed.

      Walked in and was immediately helped by a very nice woman named Jennifer. She helped me and patiently answered all my questions and offered additional information when appropriate. I was at the store for a while, as I was very indecisive and unsure what I wanted. Jennifer made the process fun and I ended up leaving with a bedroom set, accessories and a new mattress set. I would definitely shop with her again.

      I was hoping to resolve this matter with the store itself but unfortunately the customer service I am receiving is not what Steinhafles advertise. My husband and I purchased a rather large sectional in August of 2023 after moving to the area. Within 6 months of having the sectional, it was pilling and started to wear very poorly. The worst part about this is, we hardly ever sit on it. Maybe a dozen times? We do have two Golden Retrievers, which is why we purchased the warranty/coverage in case of damage. I have called customer service twice, visited the store, and scheduled a technician to come and do an assessment on the issue. Unforutnately, I was told to purchase a pilling tool to fix the problem and if I was so inclined, I could place an order to replace the fabric on the cushions but it would be at my expense. Not only am I extremely disappointed in the quality of the sectional, the customer service I am recieving is probably the worst I have ever experienced.

      Will was the perfect sales person - helpful, knowledgeable, but didn’t hover, let me look around, was accommodating in every way. Gave me an estimate of what I picked out, told him I’d bring hubby the next day, just to agree on what I chose. He looked surprised when we showed up the next day, ready to purchase the couch and chair. We were in and out in a half hour, payment and all. Will was so easy to work with. Would definitely ask for him in the future!
