  Avoid this company at all cost. They play innocent, while partening with other companies with a known track record of exploiting consumers. My mother is a 77 years old dementia patient. I am her son and primary caregiver, who has a power of attorney to handle her affairs. On or around May of 2024 she was contacted by core home security offering her a new alarm system. Whatever information they requested from her, she supplied it, without knowing what she was agreeing to. I was made aware of this while away from the house and someone came to install an alarm system. Upon arrival, I thought it was from the existing alarm company, due to the fact that our existing system has been in place for over 3 years. A few weeks later I noticed an additional charge for security monitoring, of which I began my inquiry. It was then I learned that core home security installed a new system and my Mom was now being billed from both companies. I contacted core to make them aware of my mother's condition and her inability to comprehend what they offered her. I send a copy of the power of attorney, and ask that they cancel the service and remove the equipment. Core security was unresponsive, and directed me to the financing company Time Investment. The system is still in place and both companies are insisting that i pay this bill. Not only is this frustrating, it's disheartening to know that this is how the elderly are targeted. I had to put a spam blocker on my mom's phone because she gets more than 12 calls per day offering similar service. I strongly believe this is an intentional action from Core Home Security and their financing company Time Investment. Please avoid them both.

  Time Investment Company provides financing options to approved home improvement dealers so homeowners can enjoy those products and services affordably. The sales and installation are done in person and in the consumer's home by the dealer. Time Investment is not present at the time of sale or installation. We do speak with the consumer to verify the financing details and that they are satisfied with the installation and product before funding the dealer. Time Investment Company does not discriminate or deny credit based on a consumer's age. If during the verification process we identify any issues or concerns, we will not fund the dealer until those issues and concerns are resolved. Customer satisfaction and consumer protection are very important to us so our Director of Servicing will be reaching out to you directly.   Beware of Time Investment and their illegal practice. They are professional scammers. They will send you 3 bills all of which are continually sent after the due date so you accrue a late fee. I have had over a dozen phone calls with this company. AVOID AT ALL COST. They tell you to set up automatic payments DO NOT. Their website does not work and they will take out multiple times a month for multiple different amounts. We have calculated how much we have paid them (interest excluded) and it is nowhere near what they show. Scammers !!! They should be shut down immediately. I will be contacting the police to file a report as well.

  Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with receiving your mailed statements. We do mail statements 20 days prior to your due date, if they are not arriving until after your due date you should check with the postal service to determine why they are being delayed. We also offer electronic statements as an option which are also sent 20 days prior to the due date. If a payment is not made on time we will send reminder letters. If you see different amounts that would be a result of late fees or returned payment fees for insufficient funds. Late fees are only assessed after a 10 day grace ******* Your are not currently setup on automatic payments and have not been since 2022. There is no record of multiple charges in the same month when you were on automatic payments. We are committed to working with you to address and resolve your concerns. One of our servicing managers will reach out to you soon so we can determine the what we can do to provide better service to you.

  Back story is i was going to purchase a home water treatment system, and this is the finance company they use. Do not trust this company. I have a fraud alert on my credit files which means any company has to call to verify my identity before running applications. This company did not do that. Called credit companies and was told that since they did not call to verify, the application is considered fraudulent. Called this company to let them know this, and the lady tried to get me to verify my info. I flat out told her no I was not going to do that. I guarantee she tried this because she knows they will be in trouble with the credit companies for not following the fraud alert info.

  Time Investment provides financing options to approved home improvement and water system dealers so homeowners can enjoy those products and services affordably. The sales and installation are done in the home by the dealer. Home ownership and consumer identify are verified by a combination of efforts by both the dealer and Time Investment Company. We have policies and procedures in place to clear both initial and extended fraud alerts that appear on credit reports. Time Investment Company will not take assignment of a contract, extend credit, or open a loan account without taking the necessary measures to verify the consumers identity. Fraud alerts are found on credit reports. Credit reports are obtained by "running applications" not before "running applications".

  Almeda J Hello I feel that I was really mislead by this company about a bill for and alarm system. First thing equipment cost over $600 dollar. Upon installing they made you pay this amount. Then the doorbell was never installed so there is that. Then they send me this bill telling me that it's an additional charge of 3,5000 dollars that is computed to a monthly charge of 37.45 dollar a month. If you continue on this payment plan it will actual cost 6,799.52. and take 15.2 years to pay. While we review their calls on a regular basis, there are times we are unable to catch situations like this.
