      Do not come here!!! You cannot talk to anyone directly. I was here 5/21/23. After several days of checking out, I was checking my bank account to see if a refund was issued for the $100 dollar hold they do at check in. Instead I see a charge for $80.25 with no email of explanation to why,!!!! Nothing was taken or out of order when we checked out. First person I talked to said that they were sending an email to the department that handles this. That was a lie!!!! Called back again and spoke with someone else. He person asked me for the reference number from which I called the first time. I told him I never received one. Nothing was being done! He gave me a reference number so now is a waiting game. This place ***** and it's a rip off!!!!! I just want my refund!!

      i would recommend people to not book any reservations with this lodge. poor customer service. absolutely refusing to refund our deposit even though we cancelled 4 months in advance.

      This place is only for children under 10 they advertise a huge park but only have 4 sm slides. Even the arcade is for little ones dont go if you have teens or no children you wont have fun no out door drunk and food allowed

      Booked stay for 3 months in advance and attempted to cancel reservation due to new medical concerns in family. Was now told there is a $50 cancellation fee which was not made clear at the time of booking. Email confirmation states cancellation fee is $25 if cancelled more than 8 days prior to arrival. Very rude customer service. This is our third bad experience with GWL, they are thieves for money and even at the resort will charge extra fees for absolutely everything. Rooms are always dirty and outdated as well. Will never book here again!

      Book a day stay for 4 ppl, approximately 3 months before arrival. Plans had changed during that time frame, under 2 months to go I needed to cancel reservations due to family issues. NOTE: we always plan trips with another 4 person family which they needed to cancel also. The issue is they are saying non-refundable, (what a policy) not what we read, make for sure that you read all fine print. This will be the last time that I will never ever use this facility as a daily retreat. Not even worth for a 1 star in my book, make sure you read all customer reviews before you book, before you invest, take it for granite this was 7 week notice, they just want your $, goodluck

      no wonder it's not BBB Accredited! NOT even a 1/2 star Drove 3.5 hours to enjoy what was to be a surprise birthday gift to a family member and the gift of lies and more lies from the front desk to customer service. first night, I asked the cleaning crew to clean vomit on the lamp - couch and carpet. (who does the cleaning and inspection)??? took after 2 days that i went to the main desk -- we were moved to a different room yet charged extra, how is this even possible?! still waiting to be reimbursed for the deposit (been three weeks and still nothing). I was advised within 72 hours. SMH, it's the principal and not the amount. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER!!!!!

      Wow. This company should be never be allowed to operate this business. They are scamming families with their over priced rooms. I supposedly had a reservation on hold for 3/14/2023 but according to their policy, if I didnt use it , I would lose my deposit, so I decided to use it for it for this day, only to find out it wasnt an actual reservation. Very misleading. Very upsetting. They didnt want to refund the full deposit without forfeiting a portion / cancellation fee with their already overpriced rooms. After all this miscommunication, they actually charged me twice for cancellation fee. What a greedy, dishonest company. Robbing families from making memories.

      UNFORTUNATELY ROACHES EVERYWHERE in our Poconos room (showed them a BAG full of them after first night- yes NO sleep for me or my Wife) that was supposed to be a Christmas gift (Dec 26th, etc for our family/kids) - after pushing for a response they RELUCTANTLY offered a partial refund and moved us (VERY inconvenient) to another room, but still have NOT followed through with the refund AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS FROM ME AND MY WIFE (hoping we'll give up and stop calling!). We'd been happy with Kalahari, but wanted to give GWL a try- BAD MISTAKE! BUYER BEWARE: stay AWAY from GWL and go to Kalahari or another! Sidenote: we are in NO WAY associated with GWL, Kalahari or any other brands but would NEVER, EVER go to GWL EVER again!

      We went to the great wolf in the poconos on January 30,2023 to January 31,2023.The place was so dirty dust everywhere. Check in was a nightmare. When our room was ready no one told us until I went back 2 hours of waiting to let me know our room has been ready long time ago!! The water park was nasty garbage everywhere. When we checked out I asked for a detail of our bill and they said they will email it! No one has emailed anything! I checked my credit card and there is extra charges we were not aware of! I called the poconos no one answer the phone I called a different number and on one has an explanation! I need this to be settled now!! This place use to be our favorite vacation since our children were little but now its a joke I would never go back!!

      Terrible. Great Wolf Lodge/Resort in ****** took $97.20 from my acct. without telling me why. They told me it would take up to 72 business hours to find out why. I visited with my family on January 3rd -through January 5th spent close to $1,000.00. A *** said the deduction was due to 6 towels not being returned. She told me me the money could be returned and the funds would be available depending on when my bank releases it. I saw it pending in my account the next day. I called my credit card company and they said Great Wolf Lodge has not released the money since Wednesday. I am calling now since being told to call after 3 because all the managers were in a meeting. I spoke with a ****** and she put me on hold then hung up. When I called back no one answered. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I want my money back ASAP. I heard after I shared my story with a friend that they try to get extra money out of people. That is sad. I will not be going back there and will share my story so no one else has my experience.
