  For context, I am transitioning into tech with little professional tech experience. I chose to take the Sales Engineering program. The price for the course was a long shot for me but I happened to get lucky in being able to afford it with a payment plan. The format of the Training phase of the course was a fit for me; I'm somebody who needs lectures and classtime as opposed to going at my own pace and this program catered to that while also being flexible for people to go at their own pace or make-up classes that they couldn't attend by providing the recorded class sessions and a space to communicate with fellow students and instructors via Slack. The content of the Training phase was pretty simple for the most part. We got to know the Sales Cycle and the techniques to apply throughout and high-level tech subjects such as Networking, Security, and AWS. The thing I really liked about the training was how empowering the teachers were in ensuring that we are more capable to securing a job in the field than we may have initially thought.The Internship Simulator was like the Training phase just more intensive and hands-on. To be clear, there was no working in a Sales Tech or Sales Engineering environment but was more like exercising our learned skills in role-play sessions with our instructors and fellow classmates.In the end, I was able to confidently go through a mock interview process, proficiently demonstrate how to do the job of a Sales Engineer, and have gained two pieces of media to place in my portfolio for a potential job interview process. Now I am currently meeting with a mentor to help optimize my resume and LinkedIn profile. Afterward, I'm going to start meeting with another mentor to assist with the job search process. Careerist's process is a thorough one, the only reason it's not a 5-star review is that there are a couple of things I can tell that they're still ironing out, but I'm confident that they'll get it because they take feedback well.

  Well, this course is amazing so far. Studying at the beginning was well structured and the tutors where really good in explaining the material. This is very interactive course. You can ask anu question and an answer is given to you during calls, or outside calls. Very motivated team. They are clearing out any confusion if anyone has it. Very flexible whats important. I would highly recommend it someone else. Once ill finish second internship and mentorship, ill have a better idea and better opinions but so far its a really pleasent journey. Loved the internal intership and the instructor as well. Very well organized, friendly, clear details of tasks and just great experience so far.

  My overall experience with Manual QA has been a fun field learning experience. All of the instructors explained when something was not understood and set me up for success. I was nervous about the Internal internship but, Max was amazing and great at progressing others. I did better than I’d thought. I look forward to the External project and getting help to land the best fit career for me and my family. I’m grateful for all of the extras that have been given like SQL, etc. Thank you Careerist??

  I have enjoyed my time at Careerist so far. I would highly recommend taking the Manual QA course for anyone interested in getting into QA. The instructors were very patient and willing to answer any question. The lesion plans were thoroughly thought out and organized. The internship part gives you excellent hands on experience. Im super excited to start my job hunting journey.

  A detailed, systematic and organized program. The 3 weekly classes were helpful in keeping things on track and maintaining focus. The classes were also taught by instructors currently practicing in the field, so getting live, fresh updates from the field were valuable. Working with ********** as our team lead during our Level 1 internship was a great experience, as he was thorough, systematic and very informative with his guidance.Grateful for my experience here, and highly recommend them for those who are shopping around.
