The instructors and mentors in the Manual QA program at Careerist do a phenomenal job of making this job accessible even to those of us who had no previous experience (other than as a consumer) working in a tech-related field. They patiently explain each and every aspect of Manual QA Engineering: how it relates to all stages of the ******************** Life Cycle; how Manual QA relates to front-end users and back-end developers; how Manual QA relates to coding, to SQL, to an Agile team, etc.; how different types of Manual QA testing relate to the various stages of software development; how Manual QA relates to mobile and web-based apps or websites. My favorite lessons in the Careerist Manual QA program were the lessons that gave us opportunities to practice using the various tools and applications, such as DevTools, ChatGPT, TestRail, Jira, Browserstack, and so on. The internships at the end of the training are especially practical in giving us hands-on experience of pulling together everything we had learned and seeing what the job could potentially look like in a real-world environment. While I'm sure I still have much to learn, I am confident that I can participate on an Agile team and do this job well! Special thank you to ********** for leading our internal internship and giving us such great feedback!

His explanations are on point and he always answers questions - never making me fell like I'm a bother. I am extremely grateful to him. I'm looking forward to my External Internship and a JOB later! My experience with Careerist was excellent. The program was well-orientated and organized. The instructors taught the course in a way where they prepared us for what we need. Step-by-step lessons that lead up to a real QA job. The internship was challenging for me. It gave me lots of struggle but the project leader, ***** walked me through it. His explanations were step-by-step and thoroughly understandable. He gave out additional material to support my work. I highly recommend the Careerist program.

Dharini I had a great experience so far, the material is simple to understand, and there is not too much pressure. My mentor is a very nice person she explained to me easily to understand the QA process. careerist has given me a structured path toward a field in tech that I've always been interested in. The thoroughness of each course and insight from instructors has helped in my understanding of each topic.

I just starting the external internship phase, but have been very impressed with the material, structure, and instructors. I love their 'boot camp' style of teaching you the foundations, and methodologies - but not wasting a lot of time on things that you won't be really needing on a daily basis in the career. I have the sense that it gives you just what you need for job interviews & to hit the ground running but still supplies you with plenty of additional materials/resources to go in-depth on certain subjects or specialized paths. The instructors give you the time and assistance you need to learn each step of the way and the quizzes and homework/assignments provide hands-on experience to learn and discover any issues or questions that you may not have thought of just reading or hearing about the process. It's also very well balanced in time for people that are currently working full time jobs. The classes are after typical business hours & the homework isn't more than you can tackle in an evening after work. It's been a lifesaver in giving me confidence and direction to pivot my current career.

I had zero knowledge of QA when I joined this bootcamp. I still feel I have a lot more to learn, however Careerist definitely jumped started the learning curve for me. The course material is explained well and the 3 days/per week, while it is a lot of info, worked for me because I felt it kept me engaged and wanting to show up ready. The information is there in the course, however you have to show up, take action and apply yourself to get the most from. it.

As of right now, I have enjoyed the program with Careerist. I only finished the internal internship up until this point, but my experience has been great. Going into Careerist, I didnt have these ****************** like so many do. I went into the program with no expectations of them, but expectations of how I can make a career as a QA with Careerist. Up until this point, they have gave me confidence when I knew absolutely nothing about QA let alone tech. They provided a foundation that Im sure many can get in other ways, but I liked the fact that real people in real time were teaching me and giving me feed back. The foundations part of the class was interesting because it provided the methodologies behind everything and finishing up the internal internship put things into practice. I had my internal internship with **** and it was awesome! He is very knowledgeable, competent, and gives advice and feedback right away. I think that the biggest benefit Careerist gives during each portion of the program is confidence. Something we all need in ourselves to succeed. I dont expect the job **** to be easy, but I know that if I follow what Careerist says and put in the effort, it will just take time to land that first position. If you are thinking about joining Careerist you need to first decide what is your learning style. I did supplement my learning with outside resources, like any smart person would do when they are learning anything new. However, the foundations will give you the core of what you need and if you want to touch up on a few things then look elsewhere. It is definitely not a reflection of Careerist as a program. After that put the expectations on yourself, not onto others. You will have to study and practice what the program gives you. Somethings may come naturally to some, like writing test cases. For others it will just take time and practice. Finally, just put in the effort. Things arent going to happen over night, so just enjoy the process.
