Air Canada has lost my luggage since June 28 2022 and still hasnt found it our given any compensation for losing it. Someone from their customer service department finally called me for the first time ever to ask me if I received my missing luggage. With all the claim numbers they gave me he couldnt use his brain to check one to see the status or is that luggage status tracker just * *****. This is a billion dollar company that doesnt value their customers.

Air Canada is terrible they first delay our first flight which makes us miss our connecting flight and no help to make this up to us in our birthday trip. My husband and I have to spend the night at the airport for his birthday. No one was at the service desk to help and no one at the other helps desk is willing to help or redirect us. Never flying with them again. Bad reflection in ****** ******* as they are partners. We have never missed a flight before!

I have never received a worse customer service experience than what I received from air Canada. My international flight from Canada to ***************** was cancelled two days in a row which left me stranded and caused me to miss a day of work. This resulted in me having to rent a car to get home to avoid missing any future pay. I have called 6 times over the past month and a half to check in on my refund. I receive a different answer every time I speak with an agent about the refund and the time for my refund is always pushed back from what the previous agent told me. I understand that they are receiving a lot of calls about refunds but in my experience, they do not do anything to try to help the customer or resolve the situation. My most recent experience was a very rude customer service agent who told me that they will not refund me for my submitted claim even though he has no control over that decision (not an appropriate way to handle an already frustrated customer). I asked to speak with a supervisor on duty and he refused to pass me over to one and said that they dont do that. They should be handling these cases better considering they are dealing with customers who are loosing out on hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars (anyone loosing that much money is going to be frustrated and angry). I will never fly with air Canada again and caution anyone who chooses to fly with them.

I took an Air Canada flight from *** ****** ** to ********, via ******* and ******, *******, at the end of June, 2022. I booked my dog as carry-on luggage. The flight was late leaving *******, late arriving in ******, and I missed my connection to ********. I was unable to get a ticket for my dog in-cabin from ****** to ********, as they don't allow this. I had to arrange for special shipment of the dog. I incurred over 3000€ expenses in hotels, food, taxis, and dog vet and shipment expenses as a result of missing connections. I was offered a $100 eCupon as compensation, since Air Canada "determined that your flight was disrupted due to constraints on ground handling activities beyond the airline’s control." I am AMAZED at the imagination shown in an effort to shunt responsibility elsewhere, ANYWHERE but where it belongs!! Air Canada does NOT deserve to be in business! I would leave a ZERO rating if permitted.

I have tried multiple times to email and call regarding a reimbursement of $2600 of expenses occurred due to days long delays and cancellation of flights and lost luggage. I received no email confirmations nor copies of the request (checked a box during submittal). I have tried calling customer support multiple times only to be hung up on, literally (after 2 hours of holding). Once they heard what I was calling about they transferred me into another 2 hour long queue. I have no other way to get their attention or re-coup my lost expenses. I am seeking your help. I have a formal letter that outlines exactly what occurred and why I am seeking reimbursement as well as all receipts. This is unacceptable. I don't mind waiting for service but I do mind the rudeness and lack of response.Thank you.***************************

I flew ******* to ****** and upon arrival my air canada flight was cancelled. Air canada in boston airport booked me a flight 12 hours later to toronto. However they booked me ***** to ******* and ***** ******* to *******. I had friends who got on a direct flight and said they had many empty seats? Why was i given all this run around? Furthermore Air canada lost my luggage in ****** Airport. I was told to come back at 3 am when the next shift was on at lost baggage. It was 12 am when i left. I got to the airport at 3 am AND NO ONE WAS IN THE AIRPORT FOR AIR CANADA. I had to be in securrity at 4 am on the other side of the airport in ***** so i had to leave the aiport without my luggage. I got to ******* with no luggage. ( i actually live in HALFIAX NS but this was my last flight) i called air canada MANY times and i either got hung up on or told they couldnt help me. I called Delta and they said the same thing. A month after my flight i drove 20 hours from ******* to ******* and went to arrivals in ******* Airport Air canada. I walked in and they werent going to help me either. All while i was talking to the agent my fiance was looking in the MASS collection of bags and found my bag. It had been sitting there for 3 weeks and NO ONE TRIED TO CONTACT ME. How is this not air canadas fault when it had an AIR CANADA tag on it saying" were sorry for the delay"??? I had to replace everything in that bag almost $2500! plus i had to drive 20 hours to get it my self!!!! Rude, unreliable service and i will never fly with them again

Bought Air Canada to *********. Paid a premium for seat in economy. Unfortunately the aisle seat selected was exposed so the flight attendants/passengers continually hit the seat, or tv screen as they pass it. The seat should have been sold at a discounted price given the number of times I was hit seating in my seat.Signed 30 year plus frequent flyer with Air Canada

Air Canada is THE worst airline in their response to the handling of my 4 lost bags. I have been on the phone with them for two days trying to locate my four bags. On 24 July 2022, my family (myself, husband, two children) checked into flight *** from *** ***** airport. We checked one suitcase and paid the checked bag fee for one suitcase. The Air Canada ticket agent informed us that WE WERE NOT ALLOWED to take our four (4) carry on baggages on the plane due to lack of space on the airline and they had to be checked. We checked our four bags and proceeded to the gate. As we sat on the plane awaiting takeoff, we were informed that our connecting Air Canada flight was CANCELED. We were immediately scheduled on an ****** ******** flight arriving the following day. I received a notice that our 1 paid checked bag would be scheduled for delivery to our home. Upon arrival, we checked for our luggage in the baggage claim. Our suitcases did not arrive to our destination and they were last tagged in Toronto. Air Canada is blaming ****** ********, ****** ******** is blaming Air Canada. And the file number to locate my luggage doesn't work on World Tracer or ** baggage tracer. I have spoken to managers and countless people to resolve this and nothing is happening. This business should be given a disclaimer before you willingly spend money on their services.
