      My card was stolen and unauthorized transactions had been made using my card. I called new Financials once I noticed that (on the same day when the transactions occurred). The lady on the phone told me that the transactions are pending and I needed to wait till they go through to report for fraud issues. A few days later, the transactions went through and I called to report them. They told me the it was my responsibility that loosing the card and everything had been used by my card I need to pay for. Although they can see that it has been used only by tapping. and over 10 transactions had been declined and I provided a police report of my lost wallet. They ignored the issue and they said they can not even start a fraud investigation. I called the police to consult on my rights and they told me if my card was used unauthorized, then it's a fraud issue and the financial institution has a legal duty to flag it as such and refund the amount. The police had told me for several third party to report the issue to and to call Neo Financial back to get a certain information. I called them back asking for their policy and informing them of the parties that I'm escalating the issue to, they got back to me right away saying that they will look into the issue and refund me before I go ahead with these complaints. The next day they refunded me the whole amount but again! If I didn't go through knowing my rights and searching for other solutions, I wouldn't get my money back. They tried to shift the responsibility on the customer due to an agreement with Mastercard that they have!! Meanwhile, the person who used the card they used another credit card of ************ and when I reported to ************ department, they initiated an investigation right away and they refunded me the whole amount back without any further questions! I certainly do not trust Neo Financial again! And I'm cancelling my card with them. Be aware of your rights!

      Horrible company. Absolutely no customer service! They hang up on everyone! Still can't get my **** dollars out of my account after 2 months of trying to get through customer service.

      there was a shady/fraudulent transaction on my account. I called the CS when it was still pending. The CS told me she can not cancel the transaction. So the least she can do is to cancel that card and issue me a new one. She cautioned me to keep an eye on the transaction so when it goes thru, i have to call back CS so they can reverse/refund the payment. I checked my account today and it indeed went thru. So, I called the CS again and after confirming and establishing my identity, the CS told me to call the merchant to let them return the payment. What???? I do not know this company/merchant and they made a fraudulent use of my NEO Mastercard and now I am the one to go after them??? NEO manage my account, they see all the transactions, they see any pre-authorized payments there, and I have personally confirm to them that it was not me who made this transaction. I just wanted them to reverse a fraudulent transaction on my account and they cannot do it. They wanted me to go after this **** ****. My security as a customer on this company is not a high priority. I am disappointed. I am heading to the exit door. BEWARE FOLKS!

      In my opinion *** ****** *** ******* made a big mistake in choosing Neo Financial to replace their Bay card!They charge if you want paper statements vs their on line statements that they want you to use and instead of a smooth transition from your Bay card it was like applying for a morgage! It took me 3 months to close my account that had a zero balance as they constantly replied tgat they would reply then you go down the on line rabbit hole to speak to someone who again wants all kinds of info to close the account!

      The worst company ever. They sent me a French language credit card and when I emailed them, they kept on sending the same email asking me to update my postal code. My postal code was correct and I told them so many times. They dont read emails apparently. Same request continued. They sent me the French card in the same postal code. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY ever even if H***** B** gives a discount. It is beyond my understanding how H***** B** decided to use them as their chosen credit card!

      The neo card is a joke, STAY AWAY. My wife’s card started to get charged for a dating website in Germany, we live in Canada and have never even looked at let alone join a dating site in Europe. She called neo to let them know her card has been compromised and their answer to her was to call this dating site in Germany (if it even is a dating site) to have them reverse the charges, this is how completely stupid they are. When’s the last time you could even find the person scamming you let alone have them give the money back, we’ve spent hours and hours on the phone talking to these idiots and get nowhere. We paid the charge and locked the card, once it has been processed we’ve cancelled the card. We’re also letting The Bay know the damage these idiots are doing to their business because we’re done with them, we will be posting this on ******** and everywhere else to let Canadians know what their getting into with this **** neo card.

      I got a Neo Financial secured card for the entire purpose of building credit, however almost a year later and they don't report to any credit bureau at all. Additionally, they have now locked me out of my account for reasons unknown and do not answer their phones or respond to emails. Have my secured funds been stolen?

      Terrible decision to allow **************** to enroll me with Neo. My card was compromised and waiting for more than 2 months for resolution - at the same time I'm getting Past Due letters that threaten to report me to credit monitoring agency.I've been trying to follow up by phone and it's impossibe to speak with anyone that can assist. Stay away from this provider. I would be happy to give zero stars.

      Absolutely terrible company. Froze my account last week and everyday they tell me theyre waiting on another department to contact me. Paycheques and CRA deposits have been rejected for no apparent reason and you cant escalate a call. Nobody will let me speak with a a manager or the department handling the freezing of my account. Please please do not use neo financial. Horrible business practices.

      They never reported my account to the credit report in the last 6 months, as they promised. I closed the account but my security fund was sent to nowhere. It was emailed to the email account associated to my closed NEO account not my linked bank account. So I guess I will never see my fund again.
