I was ticketed in Indigo Lot *** on March ** 2023 despite paying for parking and entering in the correct license information. I kept both items for my own proof of documentation. I called Indigo multiple times and left voicemails providing proof of information as well as the parking notice number and requested that the ticket be reversed but my call was never returned. The notice amount started at $***** and increased to $***** as it was not paid in 10 days as it was ticketed in error. I am now fearful of using the same lot, which I have used often in the past, because of this bogus ticket associated with my vehicle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Customer Answer

I am a member at a gym ** *********** ******** *** (lot ***) in ***** **** and i park at the Indigo lot but we have the right to park there for free as there is an agreement with the gym. Today i got a ticket between the moment I parked and punching my plate number into the Indigo screen at the gym. 5 min it takes me to enter the gym.Training at 11 am - ticket at 10:57.Got a previous ticket because i went straight to my personal trainer to be on time. I have proof of both training sessions recorded at the gym.I dont park there any other time. I have received a couple of tickets from back in 2021 that have been sent collections. That was a period of time where you guys were just installing the system and it was faulty, at that time I spoke with one of your reps and it was cleared out. It turns out that it didn't. I spoke with a lady over the phone this morning and she was extremally rude and hung up the phone on me. It is not ethical nor professional. This is a matter that effects peoples life's and credit record and your resp are screaming at people over the phone just not ok. Invoice ******* Dec 13, 2022. ************* $90.00 I received a parking notice from Indigo at 721pm on Dec 13, 2022. I was attending a retail outlet and was seeking medical treatment (massage) for a ************ **** ***** ** ** ***** I was unable to register my plate with the Indigo parking service for the 2 hr free parking that is affording to visitors of retail stores at *************************************************************************. The Indigo app indicated that I had reached my "daily maximum". This was an error as I did not park at this location or any other Indigo location that day. I have attempted to contact Indigo Parking via phone and email. I have attempted 5 calls between Dec 14 and Dec 31. I have never had my call picked up and have been on hold during each call. The minimum time I was on hold was 25 mins with 2 attempts great than 60 mins. I have also tried to contact Indigo via their webpage where you can make an inquiry/send an email. I have tried to submit a message on three different occasions. Each time I receive an error from the website indicating that my message has not been transmitted.This notice has been a result of an Indigo error and I feel like the company tries to make it impossible to rectify. I don't know how to proceed and feel like I have taken the necessary steps to try and rectify the situation. Can you please assist.Business Response

I am writing to make a complaint about the parking ticket I received from Indigo. I parked my car in a designated loading zone and was issued a ticket. There were no signs in the loading zone that indicated that a ticket was required to park there. When I called the ************* Team, I was told that even in the loading zone I needed to register my plate and that it was not displayed in the scan to register display.I believe that this is unfair as I did not see any signs indicating that I had to pay for a ticket in the loading zone. I would like to have the ticket waived as I feel I have done nothing wrong.Business Response

I recently used an underground parking lot. I tried to use the qr code to pay for parking. The web link was not working so I tried to go to ground level to complete the transaction. Once above ground the link continued not to work. I went into the restaurant I was going to and asked them if there was alternate payment available or a pay station. The answer was no, they indicated other customers were have had this issue too recently. I returned to my vehicle an hour later to find a ticket. I promptly called customer service, explained the issue and I was baisicly told to pay the ticket or have a collection agency come after me for payment. It is not viable to expect payment in this manner unless it is explicitly indicated that online/app is the only means. On top of this the customer service agent was rude, I would have happily paid parking fee if a clearly viable option was made available, I will not install an unnecessary app that, if this was the only means to pay this should be clearly identified.....It clearly is not.Business Response

Hello,
Upon listening to the recorded call between this person and our representative, never was there a moment that our representative was rude nor uninformative. This person had threatened to *** and consistently interrupted our representative when she is trying to answer his questions.
Our representative had explained that there are three options to make a payment or register for parking at this location stated below;
1. To download the App - which this ****** explicitly advised that he will never do despite acknowledging that he knows there is an App that is an option and is free to dwonload.
2. ** code on site - I have looked if other transactions existed around the time this person's notice was is***d and in fact, there are many. I have also made tests to ensure that it is working.
3. To call our office - our phone numbers are on this lot just below the ** codes signs that he scanned.
As per our standard procedure, we are allowed to offer a courtesy reduction to $50 and is payable within 10 days once it is applied on the ticket. Please advise if this resolution is acceptable so we can make the changes.

Recently my monthly account had been behind one month. I was aware of the issue and reached out to rectify this but Indigo was unable to as they were updating their payment software system. I had confirmed with Indigo that my current month and the overdue month would go onto my credit card. I sent Indigo my credit card info and they processed this payment onto my account. Several days later Indigo then processed the same payment out of my bank account which was not agreed upon. This caused me to incur banking fees as this payment was not budgeted to be withdrawn from this account.In my initial conversation Indigo denied that such an error could have possibly occurred. The employee I spoke to indicated she would follow up with management. Later when this same employee called me back, she then stated she was the manager, indicating to me that the I was already being lied to. When we spoke again the employee deflected any accountability on Indigo, questioning if I really made arrangements to process this on my credit card (to which I had emails confirming everything). This employee then stated it was a "system error" that they had never seen before. When I clarified that system or human error it was an Indigo error, the employee started talking over me.For days Indigo took no further action to rectify anything. Instead, they waited for my bank to return the funds to then say they had rectified the situation as there were no longer two charges. This was ludicrous at best. I had asked for a $50 credit on my next month's bill to compensate me for the banking charges that their error caused. Indigo of course refused to compensate me accordingly for their error and instead insulted me by stating they would waive their NSF admin fee for the returned payment that they caused.I customer service was insulting at best, but their refusal to rectify the charges they caused me is atrocious.Business Response

Hello,
***** incurred *** Fees for her October Parking Payment so we have reached out and advised that we will be needing an alternative payment method to settle the bill. ***** then decided that we should just take October and November Parking Fee payments from her credit card (the alternative payment method she provided). There was an error on our end where her October Parking Fees were charged to her credit card but our system charged November Fees to the original payment method - pre-authorized debit which is a mistake we are taking full acountability for as we have failed to remove the original payment method in time.As per the recorded call between ***** and one of our managers, she has apologized and advised that we are waiving the November's *** fees, In addition to this I will also remove the *** Fees charged when she was unable to make a timely payment in October as a compromise.
Please advise if offered resolution is accepted so we can make changes on the account.

I parked at the back of a free indigo lot with a trailer. Got a ticket for taking up more than one stall. Called, called, left msg, called again to finally get through and explain, they said ok it will be void. I then used their app to pay for a daily parking and got a ticket for non payment!!!!!Now they continue to ****** me with collection notices!!Shame on this company for the worst customer service ever!!!!I want these tickets void and my account removed from your business!!!!!!Business Response

The initial notice from January 10, 2019 was issued as the owner of the vehicle had parked across 4 stalls in the parking lot. Our representative at the time had then reduced the notice to $25 as a one time courtesy. This was clearly communicated to the owner of the vehicle. The reduction of the $25 does still stand and the notice will not be cancelled.

On October 3, 2022, at approximately 11:25am my partner and I parked and entered ******************************* at ***-*********** in Calgary, Ab. Upon entering, he looked for staff to show us where to register our vehicle, but they were dealing with other customers. The security guard was new and couldn't answer his questions. When he located an available staff member, he was directed to a pinpad and registered our license plate. I shopped and purchased our items (approximately 11:45am). Upon returning to our vehicle we found a parking notice (#******, issued at 11:35am). After reading the ticket and looking for help on their website, I called their phone line at 11:51am. When I was connect to an operator, I asked how to correct the issue. She informed me that they had no record of our vehicle registration. I offered to provide a copy of our receipt demonstrating that we were customers, but she indicated that it was irrelevant. I asked if there was anything she could do to help, and she said all she could do was give me an email address to escalate the issue. I asked if she had a manager I could speak to first, she said no. We returned to the store and asked the staff if they could help. They suggested we reregister the vehicle and try to call again. We did, at 12:10pm. I was on the phone again for about 7 minutes. The operator indicated again that our plates were not registered, although, at this time, my partner had now entered them twice. I told her I could provide receipts, written statements from staff indicating we had followed their procedure. She said that was crazy, and said all she could do was decrease the fine from $70 to $50 dollars. I asked if it was possible that her system wasn't working, to which she insisted I was heated and it was my fault. I then tried to submit an inquiry on their website around 1:00pm, under "contact us" and it would not submit (I can provide evidence of this upon request).Business Response

Good afternoon,
I have reviewed notice *******, which was issued to plate ******* on October 3, 2022 at 11:34AM. As mentioned by the customer I can see that they had registered, but not until 12:05PM which is 30 minutes after the notice was issued. Unfortunately because of the large delay from the time that the notice was issued to when the customer paid, this notice is valid. I am in agreement with our representatives decision in reducing this notice down to the $50.00 fee as a one time courtesy.
