So, they advertise free, then you have to sign up for an account and give them your credit card info. After you invest time and effort.I call that a scam. Don't do it. BBB this advertising practice doesn't deserve an A+LawDepot

During that time, you can create, download and print as many documents as you need. You can cancel at any time and there is no obligation. You simply need to cancel the subscription by requesting the cancellation under Your Account or accessing live chat or phone and we'll cancel it for you within the seven-day window. You also receive an email recapping the offer details and the date and time to cancel.We do have you enter your credit card information for uninterrupted access to your documents. There are no charges to the card if the trial offer is canceled within the seven day trial period.Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. The templates work beautifully! So much more cost effective than hiring a lawyer. Lease templates are state specific which is especially useful.LawDepot

A lot of official document type stuff and jargon just gives me a headache. But just the workflow of writing out a contract with LawDepot all the pictures and stuff I went to my wife and I was like, this was literally made for meLawDepot

BUYER BEWARE!!!!Nothing but trouble in dealing with this company Lawdepot.com.They offer a free trial and then charge you months on end $35 without refunding. I tried cancelling this with them on 3 different occasions to no avail with records of conversation in 3 cancellation emails.Their **************** was ZERO help also.Be warned that this was not a good experience whatsoever. Also Im sure they will answer under here and say something like..we are t familiar with your account blah blah blah..of course you are t new use you did ZERO to help with cancelling an unwanted subscription as well as ZERO to offer credits for thee SEVERAL MONTHS I was being charged. Poor **************** Poor Communication Poor Products Poor Handling whatsoever about my issueLawDepot

Hello *******,Our records indicate that you signed up for the 1 Week Free Trial on April 29, 2023. You were told twice through the check out process that it was a 1 Week Free Trial and would be $35.00/month after the trial ends if not canceled. We immediately sent you a confirmation email with the date and time to cancel in bold print. There was a link to cancel the account online and our phone number to make it easy to cancel. On May 8, 2023, we sent you an email reminding you that you still had an account with us.If you had spoken with us at any time to cancel your account, we would have canceled it and let you know that you would receive a confirmation email that the account was canceled. This email went out to you on Aug 17, 2023, when you asked to cancel your account. At this time, we issued you a courtesy refund for your last charge. I am sorry we cannot refund any further charges. This is a very user-friendly program that walks you through, step by step! And saves me SO.Much money I have read some of the negative reviews, and CANNOT believe they had any issues! I was notified of auto billing, and called to cancel, no problem, then I took a look at how much I have used this program, and decided to keep it. I have not come across an issue that required me to call about, nor did I have any questions, since the program was VERY easy, and self explanatory. I have used it for POA, Lease, *****, Rental agreements, etc. I hope that these low reviews are just based on users who can't follow easy instructions, or just intimidated by the Legal Jargon/Process.LawDepot

When I compared the LawDepot living trust with the attorney-prepared trust I was updating, I appreciated the fact that the LawDepot trust included everything the lawyer-created trust included, but in clearer and more concise language, and for a fraction of the cost. I also felt much more confident that my last wishes would be understood clearly since I had all the time I needed to make changes before the final documents were notarized.LawDepot

I am deeply disappointed with my recent interaction with Law Depot's subscription services. I had attempted to cancel my subscription, but due to some issues, it didn't process correctly. To my dismay, I was still charged for a service I no longer required and did not even use for the month.What left an even more sour taste in my mouth was their customer service, or lack thereof. I reached out to them to rectify the situation, but I was met with unprofessionalism and unhelpfulness. The representatives seemed disinterested in my predicament and displayed a lack of empathy that was simply astonishing. It was as if my legitimate concerns fell on deaf ears, leaving me frustrated and feeling unheard.What is truly upsetting is the fact that Law Depot did not issue me a refund despite this issue and they claimed they sent a reminder email about the subscription in which they did not. They charged the subscription amount before their supposed reminder email. So how is that actually a reminder? Their customer service is unlike anything I've experienced. In an age where customer satisfaction should be at the heart of every business, it seems that Law Depot's primary interest lies elsewhere.I strongly discourage anyone considering using Law Depot for legal documents. Their business practices, or at least in my experience, do not value the customer or their satisfaction. There are numerous other services out there who will treat your needs with the respect and professionalism they deserve. I recommend exploring those options rather than risking an unpleasant experience with Law Depot.LawDepot

I just called to cancel my renewal subscription. I had gotten a notification from my credit card for a charge from Lawdepot this morning.I reviewed my emails and did not find an email notification that the automatic renewal would occur and I had forgotten about this subscription.I called this morning and was pleased to have the subscription cancelled the charge reversed and a pleasant person to speak with.Thank you.LawDepot
