    * *** ******** ********** ******** I call and they "correct it" then a few months later, collections again! I call back, its "corrected" then a few minths later, another notice of collections for the same ammount to the same account. * ***** ** *** **** ** ***** *** **************

    There was a gentleman that came into the office this morning and began talking a mile a minute about the gas prices and Canada buying gas from the US and on and on ........ *** **** **** ** *** *** **** *** ****** ** **** ****** ******  ****** ** *** ****** **** *** ***** **** **** * **** ** *** **********  So at this point he has our account name, number and pulls out the **** to start adding notes and let me know I would receive an email to confirm our desire to add this to our ****** billing, making it sound like they work together with ******. Easy Energy can offer a 5 year fixed price.
    I received the email and attached is an Easy Energy Agreement. Interestingly, there is NO contact information within the email, and it arrived in my junk box.
    I immediately looked them up to find a phone number and left a message to cancel any agreement *** **** * ***** ** ********* **** ******* ** ***.

    I've not left a BBB review before, but am inspired after the very poor experience I've had. **** ***** ********** the claims on the phone of three representatives that I spoke to over the phone were misleading at best, and deceptive at worst. I do not recommend this group whatsoever.

    Had some random person that was not even an authorized contact on our ****** business account sign a 5 year agreement with this 'Easy Energy' gas reseller company, which has a start date 4 months from now.
    We did not find out about it until after the 10 day cancel had passed when a new note appeared on our latest ****** bill. We are working to avail ourselves of any business with this company.

    They present themselves as ****** gas employees and **** you into signing a 5 year contract locking in a way higher rate. Be careful. Do not sign. I didn’t sign but somehow i am in a 5 year contract. Have no idea how i was scammed.

    On the phone, they totally misrepresented what they were doing in a way to get you to sign up with their distribution system. I did sign up, but when I looked into it *** *** *** ***** I cancelled the agreement the same day.

    A rep came to my door. He said easy energy was a cheaper locked in option, now available as competition. He said ****** *** prices were set to go up every 3 months for the next year. He also said that Easy was able to buy energy in higher bulk amounts than ******, and that was why they could offer better pricing but would not say how much. When I asked who owned Easy Energy I was told "Tom". My door to door easy sales guy said that most people do not want to change.
    I called ******, they said their prices were not set to go up.
    ****** said they are all using the same Canadian energy and that ****** is managing and delivering all the gas even if Easy is the plan you sign up for. **** ** ********** ********** ********** ** ******

    Whoa! wish I had checked this before I let myself be persuaded. Glad I checked rates before confirming with the second phone call. I was told 'locked in at current rate for 5 years', current rate 'cost of gas' is 1.1 GJ/ 5.907',second caller asked me to confirm at '8.75/1.1 GJ'. Lucky for me, I balked, it did not sound right. I cancelled the contract.

    Finally got around to look at what I signed when I was in a rush to get back to what I was doing. The salesman gave me the impression that this was part of ****** ** and that I would save money because their rates will be lower. In reality, I signed a contract for 5 years that I agree to pay 4X the rate I am currently paying ****** for gas. I also calculated that I would have to pay over $700 to get out of this contract. **** ** * ***** ***** *** *******

    I was contacted by this company recently and pressured into signing an e-agreement. It was indicated that I was remiss in not signing up with their company earlier for a certain rate for the provision of gas and that they were the energy provider to ****** **. I called ****** ** later to confirm that Easy Energy was indeed the energy provider to them. I learned that Easy Energy is not the energy provider to ****** ** *** * *** **** ******** * **** * *** ***** ********* ** *** ********* **** ***** ********* * *** *** **** ** *** I have subsequently been able to have the contract cancelled. I am writing this review to ***** others who may have had a similar experience.
