  Had a young man knock on my door advising that he's working for a company affiliated with ****** ** and signing people up for a government program to reduce energy costs. Couldn't explain how this works and said there was no catch. He asked if we were signed up yet, looked at my bill and said that we weren't, so started to try and sign me up. I started looking up reviews while he was there and saw so many complaints online, so I told him I would look into this further. **** * **** ******* **** ***** **** ****** This isn't a government program sign up, it's a 3rd party company.

  This young lady is super sweet.. assured me that I can get the rates lowered after a year. So technically they dont lock you in. Im very pleased with her service.

  sold my business, transferred accounts to new owner stated I owed the $2K for cancelling contract that nobody that has signing authority signed, tried to stop by their office *** ****************************************************** business office does not exist it's a office sharing location will not give you a proper breakdown of bill. After telling them not going to pay unless receive receipt for payment they sent me their proper office address is *****************************

  What this company does is *******. The person from easy energy ************ a ****** employee, **** about the purpose of his visit. Tried to ***** ** into signing his documents, how is this not *******?

  The multiple phone calls from this company Easy Energy made it sound like they were doing me a favor by "reaching out" to give me the option to protect ourselves from any rate increases by ******. Heavy sell. Spoke very quickly. Young. Very much presented themselves as representing ******, almost as if they were calling on ******' behalf. Inaccurate information I now believe. When the mail notification came (from ******) that "I had signed a contract to purchase NG from Easy Energy" it became clear that there was no mention of getting whatever the lowest price was, but that I would be locked into a price considerably higher than the current price through ******. Very questionable, misrepresentation at best. Fortunately I had an opt out deadline and immediately called the company and did so. I consider myself lucky. I further talked at length to ****** and was advised to keep the cancellation email. ****** is obliged to offer these independent marketers. Perhaps some are better than others, and perhaps some savings are to be had, *** **** *** ** ****** ****** ** ** ******** ****. Salespeople are commission based. * **** **** ***** ** *****

  On Friday June 04 2023, two days ago a man from ********** called me and asked me to sign an agreement to assure that gas prices would not go up. He then emailed me the details of the agreement. This agreement was from Easy Energy Inc. Natural Gas Companies. The price shown on the agreement was much higher than what I was paying now.The agreement has a clause that says there is a 10 day period that I can cancel this agreement and stay with my existing fortis rate. I am writing this review in order to warn others and also to have a written statement that I have cancelled this agreement well within the 10 day period starting with this easy energy phone call on Friday June 04, 2023. The date today is June 06, 2023.

  There was a gentleman that came into the office this morning and began talking a mile a minute about the gas prices and ****** buying gas from the ** and so on. He needed a signature to prove he was here. some time later we got a contract email to our info account. He never mentioned that this was a contract etc. He did not mention the 5 year commitment etc. There is NO contact information within the email, and it arrived in my junk box. I called and left a message to call me back. * **** **** *******

  This is nothing more than a scam. Two Easy Energy representatives came in and talked to our office manager. They told her they would get her the information she requested like price. This was April 2023. They asked her to sign the iPad so they could show they were in fact here and talked to our business. The office manager asked if this was only to verify the Easy Energy reps were here and was told yes. In fact it seems they had her sign the blank screen on the iPad so they could put it on the contract. An email came 8 days later not to her but myself the owner showing a contract signed by my office manager that was dated 8 days ago. I emailed when I got the email and received a call the next morning. I questioned the price of $7/Gj and was immediately told I could have it for $5/Gj. Five minutes later I got an email that told me I have 20 days to decide if I wanted the $5 offer and was reminded I had ************************************************************************** 2 days I was now locked in for 5 years. EXTREMELY BIG PILE OF &*(^#$.. READ OTHER REVIEWS THIS IS NORMAL. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

  for the second time we had a Sales Rep come to our door. this time we let him in, because we checked out the company and it is licensed to operate in ******. as we know, you can trade *********** like a commodity and easy energy is also operating in Europe, we thought it possible, that they can buy it at a lower price.However, the person gave us misleading information about cancellation, automatic lowest price, etc. after he left, we checked everything over and found that he put us down for $7.00 for the next 5 years when in reality we pay this month $5.15. wonder where the saving is. needless to say, we canceled everything.it may not be a total scam, but it seems like they trying get you quickly into an agreement that is hard to cancel. why can they stay in business ?????

  ********* They keep phoning me every day now but won't talk on the phone. Some days they phone me 4-5 times and when i answer they won't talk. **** *** ***** **** *********** ** **** *** ***** * ******* ***** **** *******. I blocked their call numbers at least 20 times but they simply use another of their numbers to call again. *** **** ****** ******* **** * ****** **** ******* I leave them messages telling them where to go but they ignore and persist. * ** **** *** ******* *** *** * ******* ******** ****** ********* ***** ************ ***** *** *** ***** ***** ******** ********
