I received a parking ticket, after receiving verbal consent from the restaurant, that I was permitted to stop for 5 minutes to pick up my takeout order. I was in and out within 5 minutes, but received a ticket. When I spoke with the ticket issuer, they told me to contact the company to have it issued as a warning. I called Royal Parking and advised of the verbal permission that restaurant staff had given my, but the company *** was not helpful and demanded I pay. When I explained the reason, they told me the tenant has no say for the property, and they were working by the book. This is not legal, as the restaurant staff ***resents the property, and can give verbal permission. Notice No.121749006011 I would like this company to void the ticket or to change it to a warning.Business Response

On April 27th 2025 Royal Parking issued a ticket on my parents' car claiming they "walked off" and are unable to provide any evidence of this, I have provided a receipt of a purchase made within 30 minutes of parking at the ******** located in the parking lot where we parked.Royal Parking are choosing to ignore my evidence due to the time on my provided receipt not being immediate, which is unreasonable, my parents are older and we took our time before purchasing. All the while Royal Parking are still unable to provide any tangible evidence, only the word of mouth of an officer on their payroll.I would like for this charge to be dropped, and I would ideally like Royal Parking to face some consequences for these predatory business practices of "watching" people and preying on them with tickets issued without sufficient evidence to back up their claim. These kind of business practices prey on older folks like my parents who would find it difficult to appeal this on their own.Business Response

This response is not a response to any of the points raised in the initial complaint.
It says nothing to their lack of evidence, and how this fine is false and completely lacking in evidence. I am fully prepared to pay a fine where evidence is provided, however I have made multiple requests for their evidence and the business has only given me the word of their parking officer - which is not substantial enough against the evidence I have provided.
This fine and the business total lack of nuance or actual substantial response paired with their passive aggressiveness in communications is frankly insulting.
If this fine is not cancelled I would like to seek an escalation path as I refuse to pay a fine where no evidence is provided.
I will take this as far as it needs to go, so I would advise the business to respond properly with ACTUAL evidence or to cancel the claim and be done with this.Business Response

Hi,
Upon review, it appears the parking ticket was issued in accordance with our regulations, which clearly state that walk-offs are not permitted.
We would like to clarify that our officers are trained to carefully verify violations before issuing tickets.

Hi,
I once again do not believe any reviewing has actually taken place, or that my previous message was even read.
This fine is illegitimate and cannot be upheld when there is no evidence of the alleged "walk off" happening. I have provided evidence of a purchase being made shortly afterwards at the shop permitted within the parking restrictions.
Once again, and to clearly outline my stance on this:
I refuse to pay a made-up fine where no actual tangible evidence can be provided.
Either provide me with an escalation path, some actual evidence (photographic or video) or kindly cancel the fine.
Please update me with one of the above three options.

I am rejecting this response because:Once again the business provides a response showing they either cannot read or are just that incompetent.
To put it simply:
I am not paying this fine. The business can either respond properly and with ACTUAL evidence or cancel the fine.
We can do this back and forth as long as is necessary.

Date: Sep 7, 2024 I received a parking ticket from Royal Parking, for parking at ********** (**********************************************************************************). I tried appealing twice but Royal Parking refused. Their reason is because their officer noted me walking off and not going into **********. Royal Parking has also declined to provide any further details regarding the claim of me "walking off," such as photographic evidence, the name of the officer involved, or any other supporting information. On my part, I can confirm that there are two entrances to the **********, and at no point did I "walk off." I have provided my credit card bill showing a purchase at that specific **********, but they dismissed it as evidence because it did not include a timestamp for the ************** clarify, I live just three minutes away from this **********, and there is absolutely no reason for me to park and leave the premises, especially when the nearby ************* offers free parking. The fact that I received a parking ticket is not only unreasonable, but also highly questionable. Despite providing clear evidence and explaining my side of the story, Royal Parking has refused to acknowledge it, instead insisting that I "walked off" simply because the officer noted it. This rigid stance, without considering the full context or my evidence, further undermines the legitimacy of the tickeBusiness Response

I RECIEVED A PARKING TICKET WHILE SHOPPING AT ********************************* IN ******* AT ***********************. ALTHOUGH THERE IS SIGNAGE POSTED IN THE **** FOR VISITOR PARKING, IN THE IMMEDIATE **** WHERE I PARKED, THERE IS NO POSTED SIGNAGE. AFTER REVISITING THE PARKING LOT AFTER I RECIEVED THE TICKET, I NOTICED THAT THERE MAY BEEN SIGNAGE POSTED IN THE **** WHERE I WAS PARKED AT ONE TIME, BUT EITHER IT HAD BEEN REMOVED OR HAD FALLEN DOWN; IN ANY CASE, THERE WAS NO VISIBLE SIGNAGE WHERE I WAS PARKED. I TOOK PHOTOS OF THE **** AND SENT THEM WITH MY DISPUTE, EXPLAINING WHAT I JUST SUMMERIZED, BUT TO NO AVAIL; THE COMPANY SIMPLY SENT ME A CLOSEUP PICTURE OF THE SIGNAGE, WITH NO REFERENCE TO MY CONCERN THAT NO SIGNAGE WAS POSTED IN THE **** WHERE I WAS PARKED. I am rejecting this response because:The attached photo shows the entrance to the parking garage. In your recent message you stated the garage was for the exclusive use of the residential building. This is not the case. In any case, there is no visible signage where I was parked that indicates that this area is for exclusive use of the residential building. The visitor marking on the ground is almost not visible when driving up to the spot. And also, how would one know if it was visitor parking for the commercial building or the residential building? There is an entire area when you first enter the parking structure dedicated to residential parking, with plenty of signage. I was not parked in that area. I was parked well outside of that area, in the area dedicated to commercial shopping.
Sincerely,

I recently received a letter stating that my vehicle was issued a parking violation notice and that payment has not been received. According to the letter, the violation occurred on December 4 at 11:02 AM at **************************************************). However, I never received the original violation notice and have no knowledge of why I am being issued this ticket.I would like to formally dispute this violation, as I have evidence showing that I was not unlawfully parked. I placed an order using the ********** app at 11:01 AM, as shown in my order history (screenshot attached). While I briefly parked my car and left the parking lot, my wife remained inside ********** waiting for the pickup. Given that I was an active customer at the establishment, I believe I had the right to park there without violating any regulations. After my wife picked up the order, we immediately left the parking lot and drove home.Business Response

Complaint Against Royal Parking Services Ltd Fraudulent Parking Charge Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing a complaint against Royal Parking Services Ltd regarding a fraudulent parking charge. On August 11th, 2024, my wife parked our vehicle (ND753F) in a lot managed by Royal Parking Services Ltd while visiting **********. I received a parking charge notice (No. ***********) in late December, demanding $120.When I disputed the charge via email, Royal Parking Services Ltd claimed my wife left the premises, which is false. They provided a photo of what they claim to be my vehicles windshield with a ticket attached. However, the vehicle in their photo does not match mine (different hood and wipers). Additionally, my wife saw the parking officer near our car when she returned from the restroom of the restaurant. She asked if everything was fine, and he said yes. My son, who was in the back seat of the car the entire time, also saw the officer and confirmed that no ticket was placed on the ************* last email to them was on January 14th, and they have yet to respond. I am attaching their photo along with proof that the vehicle in the image is not mine. Despite providing this evidence, they have not responded in over a week. It appears they have falsified evidence to justify the charge. I request the BBBs assistance in resolving this fraudulent claim.Business Response

Hi,
After reviewing your case, we can confirm that the parking ticket was issued in accordance with our regulations, which prohibit walk-offs. Our enforcement officers adhere to strict protocols and thoroughly verify violations before issuing tickets. In this instance, the officer observed the driver leaving the property without the vehicle, which constitutes a violation of the posted rules.
Furthermore, our records indicate that the enforcement officer who issued the ticket on that day was a female officer, not a gentleman.
Please note that the company has extended a concession as a courtesy.

I parked in a private parking lot while visiting the lots stores. I received a ticket for walking off the lot which is not allowed. Dec 22, 2024 - Parking ticket - 1090 ******** The ticket received, had limited detail, just the license plate and make, a black box with no picture. I emailed the company for further detail. They provided 2 pictures of the vehicle and a one for the sign they say indicates parking restrictions. The picture of the sign you included in the message is not from the location where the car was parked. Instead, its from a different area of the building. Upon further investigation, I was able to see that the T&T parkade features a similar sign with the same company logo and font, but with green lettering and a specific note that its for T&T parking only. The sign they provided, from what you claim is a different address, is nearly identical but lacks any mention that it isnt T&T parking. It simply displays an address. How is someone supposed to distinguish between the two? This raises concerns about whether the similarity is intentional and designed to confuse customers.I reached out to T&T, and they denied any responsibility, directing me to contact the parking company directly. Its worth noting that theres no way to identify the businesses at the other end of the site, as there are only unmarked back ******** is also concerning that this company is tasked with enforcing parking restrictions for two adjacent properties while having the authority to issue tickets for competing infractions in both areas. This setup seems problematic yet likely profitable.Business Response
