      Telus is charging me $500 in services I did not use. Tried to call them has taken over an hour every day for the past week. They use poor sales tactics over the phone and imminently charge you even though you have not used their service or signed any contract. They called me while I was and promised me a cheap phone package and money for transferring over. Everything sounds great until we were in the process of finalizing everything. Then they told me that I ill be charge a connection fee and the money that I was going to receive was spread out over 2 years. So in reality I'm not saving anything. They said I was going to receive my sim card in the mail. During that time I punched the numbers and I wasn't saving that much and on top the service really stinks. So I decided no to activate my account. They said upon the phone call My account was automatically activated regardless if I use their services or not. So I currently owe a $500.00 bill for from November 11th now is December 5th. I haven't sign any contract or received one over the mail. I haven't activated my account or port my number over what so ever. I am currently using ****. So What am I paying for? I ask the customer service person and they said you are paying for the temporary numbers attached to the sims. I told them I haven't activated them. When I receive a credit card or anything in the mail I would have to call in to activate them its not automatic. I'm not sure what to do. They are probably going to send it to collection agency which will be even more difficult to resolve.

      They have called me 4 times this week. I've asked to be taken off their call list, got more calls. Told them I wish them bankruptcy. How do you get yhem to stop calling?

      Telus is awful!!! 1 and a half hours to even speak with someone. Once I get a 'live' person (******* **** * ***** ****** ***** I cant understand what they are saying) I get a run around, They cant find me in their system?? I give them my name, my address, my phone number, and my account password and they still cant find me?? Yet they manage to bill me every month?? I received a call from them about 2 months ago offering me a free **** because of my steller payment history. I just had to agree to a 2 year contract at $15 per month. I questioned the caller if this **** would work out at our remote cabin which has no wifi, internet, tv or cell reception. She (the caller) assured me yes it would work our there if I installed ******** on it. Ok ..cool. It would use data but at least I could make an emergency call if that situation arose, and if my kids had an emergency they would be able to contact us if we are out at the cabin. Well low and behold..no service, no to all she assured me this **** would do. So after much headache I managed to get telus to agree to return it. I sent it back. They received it. Yet for the following 2 months they continued to bill me for it? What a joke. Never again will I deal with telus!

      For at least the last six months, we have been having issues with our billing. Every single month we have to call Telus and have them revise our TV charges and revert the overcharges. Every single month we are charged for movies that we have not either purchased or rented. I do not know what the issue is and why the technical department cannot fix this issue once and for all. It is extremely annoying to receive an invoice of over $400 every single month and every single month we have to wait on the line for at least an hour to have the issue fixed. Each time, the customer service representative needs to verify with the supervisor to approve “the discounts”. What discounts? You are charging us for something we have not ordered.!!! There has to be a better way!!! it looks like Telus does not care about their customers. You should have us on your file. You should be able to check your records and see that this is a recurring issue. We have had your service for at least 10 years or more. Don’t you care about losing a customer? My husband will call in a few days to have the tv portion removed from our service. We rather have ******* and ****** on its own. The service is not worth our time and the hassle!!!!

      I've now booked my fifth appointment to get internet hooked up. My landlord right next door has internet and has had internet in my building before, so it should be pretty straightforward. The first 2 techs said it couldn't be done and that I should call ****. I called and asked for an experienced technician who could actually hook it up. That appointment was a no-show. I called to book another appointment. I missed an important family function to wait at home last night. The technician didn't show up. I've got another appointment next week. It's been over a month that I've been without internet. My work-from-home income has been missing for a month. This has impacted my finances, my time, and my mental health. I've spent 8 hours waiting around for technicians, next week will make 10 hours of my life this company has made me wait around for them. I've waited on hold for well over six hours cumulatively. I've explained my situation to over 15 Telus reps **** If time is money, this company owes me a lot of free internet by this point. If I could get **** in my neighbourhood I absolutely would. I do NOT recommend wasting your time or money on this black hole of a company. I'm sure the top brass are making great incomes and patting themselves on the back for their expansion into "healthcare" but it's been at the expense of their customer service and systemic efficiency. This company has been gutted for profit and they don't care because they've got a monopoly on the market. Consumers seem to have no recourse. It's a disgusting company and a horrible state of affairs. If I could give negative stars I would.

      Telus is the worst corporate entity I have dealt with. They were ********* about offering fibre optic service to us, and when we switched to them, they hooked us up with more expensive, less reliable internet that we had previously. Once we discovered we did not have the internet we were supposed to have, they told us they do not even have fibre optic in our area! We then cancelled our services, and they agreed we would not have to pay a penalty due to Telus ********** **. We spoke to two different agents who confirmed that we would not have any further charges to our account, and one who said she would personally monitor the account to make sure we are not charged. Today, we just received a huge bill from them! Now we need to take more time out of our work day to try to deal with this.

      very poor service; to have a new land line installed, our old line was cut off for one month; could not even call 911 if I had to

      Telus customer service is the worst that I have ever dealt with (of any company). Their billing practices are even worst. There is always a surprise with some new charge even after you think you agreement on a renewal package (assuming they actual bill you for what they originally promised). Horrible company.

      I called Telus consistently for 11 months, before they cancelled my mother's business account and stopped sending statements. She ******** * ****** *** retired her business. I am the administrator on the account. While every agent sounded professional, friendly and competent, 11 months to complete this task is very poor performance. Perhaps it is a business systems or procedures issue. Call Summary: Nov 1, 2023 - called customer service (case# xx) still receiving emailed statements. Transferred to agent in Business TV department, who confirmed emailed statements are now stopped. To make sure, I also sent letter to Vancouver head office, attention Telus Manager, Customer Service. Oct 12, 2023 - called customer service (case# xx) still receiving emailed statements. Transferred to business account closure department, who confirmed emailed statements are now stopped. I was quoted case# xx but per 1Nov call this case# was from 2016. Jun 25, 2023 - Credit finally paid by cheque, after 2 case numbers xx and xx, and several calls including on Feb 17, Mar 8, Mar 31, Apr 25 and Jun 13, 2023. Feb 17, 2023 - Final amount was auto paid and account deactivated, as confirmed by agent. The initial account cancellation request call was made in January 2023.
