      Wish i had checked here sooner. Seems poor customer service is the one thing Sleep Country is good at. Purchased a bed frame online and it arrived in two days. Perfect! Missing parts required to set the frame up so got on the online chat and suffered through 45 minutes of 'help'. Parts on the way. Since then, no parts and 5 weekly emails to find out what is going on. Same answer that parts are being shipped. Its been almost six weeks. Last email 8 days ago mentioned management is looking into it. Nothing..... We purchased a mattress a few months ago that was also a lukewarm experience at best. Feeling very much like we have been duped and would have been better off supporting a local furniture store who actually deserves our business.

      My mattress sagged after 6 months, I spent more than $1500 on a ***** 2500 queen size mattress, Order number : ************ that's not a small amount for a mattress and I only had to buy this mattress because of my back pain. It became terribly soft over time and sinks in a lot, now my back is worse than before and I've been sleeping on the floor for several months, what's more interesting is that I can't even leave a review for the mattress I bought that other people who have back pain problems can use this mattress. ***** **** the customer service is not friendly at all, *** **** * **** **** * **** * ********** *** * ***** **** * ******* ** *** ******** *** * **** ****** they said I have to pay $50 plus tax for someone to come and take a picture, ****** ***** *** **** **** ****.

      Hope you are doing well. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your mattress. We are also sorry to hear about your back problems. The warranty for your mattress is provided by the manufacturer ***** and they have certain guidelines that need to be met before an authorization is provided for warranty replacement. Body impression or sag has to be 1 inch or more and as per the pictures you provided, its less than a 1/4 inch impression. We did provide you with the option for in home inspection and offered the waive the fee as well but you had declined the offer and proceeded with providing pictures through our online claims process. It seems to be a comfort issue at this point and unfortunately we are already pass the 100 nights of comfort guarantee since the purchase was made in 2021. If the body impression increases in the next few months, we can open another claim or we can assist with special pricing towards a new purchase. Please call us at ###-###-#### regarding discount voucher for special pricing.

      My wife and I are seniors we bought a mattress in March 2022 from Sleep County Sherwood Park for $2,000. After three months we noticed that where we slept there were body indents and the mattress had sagged in those areas about 1 inch. When the bed was made you can/could see the imprints of where we slept. We contacted Sleep County and they advised we would have to measure the mattress and submit photos. The task was more than a 75 year old could do so they recommended we have one of their techs come out for $49.00 and they would do it. We had this done in Dec of 2022 and when we heard nothing we called in Jan and were told that the mattress manufacturer would only replace the mattress if the indents were two inches and our were only one. We explained that both of us are now waking stiff and sore and believe it is from the mattress. Nothing has been done by sleep country, they don't care about seniors or warranties for their beds which is obvious. I wish I had read other reviews on line * ***** ***** ********* ** *** ******* ******** ******* **** ***** ******* * ***** ********

      Hope you are doing well. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your mattress. We also apologize for the delay in follow up after the inspection was completed. The warranty is provided from the manufacturer (*****) and they do have certain guidelines that need to be met before a mattress is eligible for warranty replacement. For indentations or body impressions, they require 1.5 inches or more in measurement. The inspection report is 1 inch impression both on right and left side. This is considered normal wear as all mattresses conform to different sleeping patterns and have a certain amount of body impression. If the body impression increases closer to 1.5 inches, we can reopen a claim. It is considered a comfort issue at the point rather than a warrant concern. If you like we can offer you a discounted pricing towards another mattress. I would suggest opening another claim if body impression increases.

      Been provided 3 delivery dates over two weeks. No delivery happened even after customer service manager promised stock was committed and delivery date set. $4500 later no mattresses. Customer service is garbage . They used to be good 20 years ago. Still waiting for delivery. I have called 12 times over two weeks. Do your job for the money you've made on the sale. Ridiculous

      Purchased the ****** body pillow based on the website details and advertisement. Purchased this online on December 26, 2022 for $129. So disappointed when the pillow arrived and it looked nothing like what was advertised. I removed it from packaging and It did not puff up and is flat and useless as a body pillow. I was refused an exchange or refund as them item had been opened. I am not sure how you are supposed to check quality of product without opening the bag. After I left a poor review I was offered a $50 for a pillow I paid $129 for. I would like a full refund for the defective product that was not as advertised and is useless to me and sending me a $50 gift card you can’t use online does not resolve my issue with the product. I would like a full refund.

Gift cards can't be redeemed online but you can definitely visit a store to purchase another body pillow and you can keep the one you already have.

      Purchased a tempur pedic bed base. It broke within the month. Have been trying to get it serviced for over 2 months now to no avail. Customer service at sleep country refuses to let me speak to a manager because they say it’s the manufacturers problem yet the manufacturer doesn’t contact their customers in a timely fashion. Has been so stressful and time consuming for me. Wish I never bought from them!!

      Have been unsuccessful in receiving ************* *********** mattress replacement thru my 10 year warranty. Have supplied every picture and measurement requested by numerous representatives. Lifting and moving the heavy mattress has been unnecessary and caused muscle strain. One owner, mattress in waterbed fully supported frame, never been moved, waterproof mattress cover. Two normal size people sleeping on it. It also has had a 1 1/2” memory foam pad on top for last two years thru Covid to make it useable. They look for visible 3/4” sag, which is not how memory foam works. It looses its ability to support weight, but does slowly resume its shape when weight is removed. This is how they void your warranty. Supplied photo of sags right after laying on bed, but they won’t accept the measurement. Placed a 40lb. Water jug on bed to show sagged areas and areas where mattress still is supportive. Still no warranty.. The last suggestion was to have a rep come to my home and visually look at the mattress without touching or laying on it? I only checked for warranty after a friend had received warranty for a memory foam mattress she purchased at ******. She couldn’t believe that Sleep Country or ************** wouldn’t honor warranty. Ten or more years warranty just a sales gimmick. Purchase a more cost effective mattress and replace it when it breaks down.

The warranty for your mattress is provided by the manufacturer of the product (***********) and they do require that certain guidelines are met before warranty replacement is authorized. The require 0.75 inches body impression and according to the recent in home inspection the body impression on your mattress was 0.25 inches which unfortunately isn't eligible for replacement under warranty. Softening of the mattress over years of usage is normal wear and is considered a comfort issue rather then a warranty concern.       We had a warranty problem with our mattress Sleep Country was easy to deal with and we supplied photos as requested and our warranty was approved in a very timely manner.
      We received a new mattress and they removed the old one. We were very pleased with their service

      Terrible experience from start to finish. Jumped through all their hoops for warranty process on 6yr old mattress with defective pillow top, submitted photos...submitted more photos, then some lame excuse about supposed stains on mattress so declined. Then offered a coupon that was essentially useless unless I wanted to skip sale prices and pay full price. During delivery, they damaged a light fixture in my house, I made repeated calls over 3 wks to finally get reimbursed for replacement part I had already purchased...nothing further offered after all my inconvenience.
      I am long-term repeat customer...or should I say I was.

      I went in to make a simple refund of a set of sheets I’d purchased as a Christmas gift, and after waiting for over 25 minutes was told that I couldn’t receive it in-store — they’d send a cheque by mail and I should just leave the product. Is it 1979? What retail location offers refunds by mailed cheque?! ************* **** staff validated the policy by saying they don’t keep cash at their stores, until I pointed out that a refund for interac is done through the POS and not a cash register. Then I was told if I didn’t like it I should have I should have bought with credit card and I could just leave and come back another day. Excuse me? The reality is that best and standard practice is businesses give refunds by the exact means the customer made the purchase. How is this in anyway customer-friendly, modern, solution-oriented, or acceptable? If I was ever going to shop at Sleep Country again, I guess I’d use my credit card — but I’ll never go back now, if not for the policy, ********* *** *** *** **** *** ********* ********

If a payment is made with cash or debit, Sleep Country issues a cheque refund. If payment is made with a credit card then we are able to put the funds back to that credit card. We are able to refund back to the debit card only for purchases made within a certain number of days and we don't carry much cash in store for safety reasons. We are very sorry again for your overall experience.
