attempted delivery to the house on 2023/04/11 which was not successful and due
to the delivery requirements ,your item had to be carded for pick up.

I've lived at my townhouse since 2010. I've never had any problems with getting my mail delivered until the last few years. Since then I've had to take time out of my schedule and go on their online chat to sort out delivery issues every six months or so. They've returned my items multiple times and even put moved stickers on my parcels. This has been quite frustrating as our address hasn't changed but the delivery drivers have. I've even gone down to the Canada Post sorting facility and spoke with a supervisor. They advised me that they were taking steps and that this wouldn't happen again. Well guess what it just did. I received an email saying that I had an incorrect address and that my items will be returned. I contacted them again on their live chat and asked to talk to a manger but they said that wasn't possible. I'm beyond frustrated as I shouldn't have to explain to the post office what my address is. I don't know who else to contact as I want answers and a solution as now I'm leary about ordering items as I don't know if they will be delivered.

In 2017 I purchased 3 money orders at a post office at Dundas and Spadina. I sent the first money order which my brother received. I mailed the second but there was a hurricane in the region at the time. I decided to wait to see if it would eventually get to him. It did not. Because of this, I decided not to send the third and was refunded.
By the time I contacted Canada Post about the lost money order, the receipt I had was extremely faded.
They ask me to provide them with the number, which I am unable to.
It seems unfair and almost criminal that I have to prove to them the $999 that they've had since Sep 2017 is mine.

Post Canada at the ********** in ****** ***** doesn’t respect their opening hours.
This is now the third time we show up before closing time and we’re refused service. This time we even called 30min before closing time to ask if they’ll be open until closing time and the employee said he wanted to close earlier! We told him we’re coming to return a package, made it there before 8 and while the employee was there he refused to service us and collect our package.
This is inconvenient for customers that have to make their way to the post office on a different schedule, even when they were there during business hours and it’s frustrating that the employees there don’t respect their business/service hours!

Canada Post has been invoicing me for services that has been cancelled and I no longer receive.
I had Pick Up services from Canada Post for years. Then started October 2022, they started to DOUBLE charge for Pick Up services. I tried to call different departments to get this fixed, but no one could help. Then Dec 7th, I decided to cancel the Pick Up service all together. Since then there had been no pick up services anymore. However, up until today, they are still invoicing me for these services. The double charges are no longer happening, but there are still charges for pick up.
When I called their Pick up Department, they said they have nothing scheduled for pick up for my business. They told me to call Billings to reverse the charges and tell Billings to stop invoicing me. I called Billings, they said they will reverse the charges, but they have not and they cannot stop invoicing me because it's Pick Up that have these charges put in.
To this day, I continued to receive Pick Up service charges on a weekly basis.
Each department kept telling me to talk to other departments, but no one is doing anything.
Meanwhile, I'm now receiving FINAL NOTICES in the mail and it is really stressful and upsetting.
My Canada Post business rep was helping me one time, then he is now out of office for an extended period of time (no timeline of return)
I need someone from Canada Post to fix these errors on their end and stop billing me and harassing me with final notices. This will end up hurting my credit score.

Unfortunately Canada Post delivers to the address, and once the address on the
package is incomplete , the is item is returned to sender. Should you require a
formal trace on this item, the sender would need to initiate this with the
originating Post office, who will then contact Canada Post internally for an
investigation. Any claim paid is issued to the sender of the item. The best
course of action based on the details you provided would be to contact the
      sender.

Canada Post has misdelivered the same letters to my address for over two years, and I want it to stop. I've contacted them multiple times by phone and email and opened two service tickets, but they've yet to resolve the problem. On January 22nd, 2021, I received two letters from ** ****** *****, Calgary Beddington NW, misdelivered and addressed to *** **** *** **** *****. On May 17th, 2021, after months of receiving and returning these letters, the City of Calgary unregistered the mailing address per my request ***** ********** and notified me that Canada Post would stop delivering the letters; however, they continued to arrive. December 28th, 2022, ticket ***********, Canada Post informed me they had received the memo from the City of Calgary but hadn't updated their system; they assured me the issue was now resolved and closed the ticket. But the mail didn't stop. January 16th, 2023, ticket ***********, Canada Post gives the same explanation and again closes the ticket, citing that it was resolved. The mail didn't stop, so I followed up again. On February 13thth, 2023, the Calgary Eastside Supervisor responded, "Dear Customer, I reviewed your ticket. 1401A is not a legal suit according to the City of Calgary website. Please ensure your suit is listed on the city's record to have mail being delivered". The response was the opposite of what I was asking, confirming that Canada Post wasn't taking the problem seriously. I hope that submitting this complaint will finally lead to a resolution.

I ordered a jacket from the US as a Christmas gift back in November. I had it shipped to the Canada Post near my home to avoid it getting stolen off my stairs. I paid $250 USD for this jacket. I was able to collect it before Christmas. It turned out to be made smaller so I then had to pay $40 to send it back with tracking just after Christmas. The company accepted the exchange and sent me the new larger jacket. Today (Feb 13th 2023) I got an email saying the package was out for delivery so I waited till the afternoon to go to Canada Post to collect said package. The lady informs me that it is not there but when it does arrive I owe duty, funny because I didn't owe duty the first time. Anyways I came home to investigate why oh duty this time and not last time. I stumbled upon the fact that my package was actually returned to sender because there was nobody at the location to collect the package. I immediately called Canada Post customer service. The gentleman on the line told me that I cannot send packages to Canada Post unless I own a PO box (which is incorrect information because I sent ALL of my packages to Canada Post) he also claims that Canada Post does not collect duty however the lady at Canada Post told me that she would collect my duty and these are the reasons why my package got sent back. I never had any of these issues with the first package delivery. It's going to be 5 months before my boyfriend can actually enjoy his Christmas gift. Very frustrating.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

      The primary function of postal
administrations is to move the mail within our networks and deliver it to the
address indicated. Upon inspection of items coming into Canada, duty and taxes
may be charged by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on imported items. Like
any other shipping carrier, Canada Post does not decide whether or not to apply
these charges however we must comply with CBSA’s decision. That means we are
responsible to collect the fees indicated by CBSA prior to handing over the
item to the receiver. Should you want to know more as to why these charges
apply, we encourage you to contact CBSA.

Should you require any more assistance please contact our
Customer Service Centre at 1-866-607-6301 and ask to speak to a Supervisor. We
appreciate your feedback and we will work to improve the customer experience.

BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
