This is not the first time and Im sure wont be the last. I paid $57.25 for overnight shipping from *******. Its been 3 days and I still havent received my package. Under normal circumstances I wouldnt be this upset, but I spent the money on overnight delivery because the content of that package were needed no later than today. I even gave them a little leeway. When I called them, they were all apologetic and said they understood my frustration. This delay is now going to cost me at least a day of my life as well as 3 other people who are waiting for me to continue with their work. They can be as understanding as they want. Thats not going to fix the problem or the lost work.Business Response

I shipped two boxes of my personal belongings last year from their **************** in September when I was moving provinces from ************ to *******. I gave the clerk this address **************************************************************************************. My package when I checked always said delivered but I never saw any of the boxes. So i went to a Canada post office to see what the problem was. Turns out one of the boxes made its way back to the office so i was able to pick it up, but they kept telling me the second box was delivered to me. After I got that box from the office, I looked at the shipping label, and the address that i saw on there was 301-****************************************************************** which confused me. So I immediately went to my apartment office and searched for the box and there was nothing there. Then I went to the apartments 301A and 301B in both my buildings to get the package since its their apartment number on the label. The occupant in 301A said that last week someone from 213A sent him a note saying that a package was mistakenly delivered to them, and the people at 213A thought that the package belonged to him at 301A. but it didnt so he left it. So I went to 213A to retrieve the package, just to find out someone just came and took the package and left. I reached out to the apartment office and Canada post to see if there could be a way to resolve the issue.Canada Post told me that if my package was misplaced or destroyed, they arent liable because I didnt insure the packages. This didnt make sense because its obviously a large mistake on their part. Because even though the package had the wrong address on the label, it still even wasnt delivered to that wrong address, and ended up in 213A. Im a student, and I had my important personal/school belongings inside that misplaced package. I emailed their CLAIMS department and they didnt resolve the issue, and I recently contacted them again and got no response at all. Please I need justice for this matter.THANK YOUBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:It doesnt cover the cost of the lost goods at all, and this whole situation stems from their incompetence at the start of the delivery process when they got my address wrong. I want to be fairly compensated for every single item that was in that box which listed and sent to them. What they are offering as compensation is very disrespectful and disappointing.
Sincerely,

My package was in the same place for over weeks, and they keep looping "in transit" and "Item processed".I contact them on July 11th, and they said they will deliver on July 12, but it's still in transit until July 17. We I contact them, they just told me they can't do anything, and let me just wait. I just want to know what happened to the package, but no one can tell me, and it looks like never will be delivered.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
in order to receive the keys on July 5th I had to track the package by the minute and drive myself to where it was processed to get before it went out for delivery. I was told if I didnt do that I wouldnt have gotten it until Monday. My main issue was also not addressed. It was stated two days guaranteed and I got it in three. You cannot advertise a guarantee if you cannot fulfil it.

On Friday, June 28th at about 1:10pm, my phone rang, and I saw it was someone buzzing from the lobby of my building. I answered "come on up!" and pressed the button to unlock the door. But then nobody came up. Later on when I was going out, I saw the delivery notice from Canada Post. The tracking number is ***************. When I enter the tracking number, it says that on June 28 at 1:14pm, Notice card left indicating where and when to pick up item The Canada Post employee should have come up and delivered it, but instead left a notification. Yesterday morning I phoned Canada Post to complain. The agent's name was ****. When I told her the mail person did not deliver it, she said "maybe b/c there were hundreds of units on the same floor" I said "what do you mean?" She said "like townhouses." I said "no, it's not a townhouse. It's an apartment building, and they just have to take the elevator to the 8th floor." Then she said "well maybe they were overtired or melting." Again, I said "what do you mean?" She said "if it was hot out." She was not sympathetic to my situation at all, and made these lame excuses to support why the postal worker did not deliver my mail to me. She did open a ticket, and the number is **********. I have phoned back several times to **************, asking to speak to a supervisor, but am told each time there system is down and they unable to pass me to a supervisor.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I would like to inform you, that the package was given to me on July 9th, only after I went to to Postal Depot at Quickie, and after the clerk told me again that the package was not there, and I told him I think it is a registered letter, did he check in another place, and found my letter. He said it had never been logged in.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. According to our tracking records the item was put on hold to verify address. Unfortunately, once the address on the package is incomplete , the is item is returned to sender . Should you require a formal trace on this item, the sender would need to initiate this with Canada Post. As the item was returned, the best course of action would be to contact the sender.

I shipped a package with Canada Post. The tracking number is ****************. The package was received by Canada Post on June 3 before the cut-off time (5pm) and delivered on June 7, which took 4 business days. According to Canada Post delivery standard ( ************************************************************************************************************************* ), the package should be delivered in 3 business days. It is very clear that the service didn't meet the standard and should be refunded according to Canada Post's commitment.I submitted a ticket to Canada Post and contacted customer service as well. Their response is that the service meets a 'revised standard'. I cannot accept such response. A 'standard' that can be revised from time to time is not a standard. If so, Canada Post can always deliver a package late, then tells the customer it meets a 'revised standard'. They never run late! Does that sounds funny???Business Response

- May 27th, 2024 I purchased the fastest service available for international shipment at a Canada Post location (5998 Bathurst Shoppers Drug Mart) - Cost was around $110- $120 for the shipment, with an 8 business day guarantee with signature. - Envelope was addressed to ******, ******* and contained over the counter ear infection medication for my sick grandmother. - Envelope has not yet arrived after 8 business days and I am suspecting it may be lost. - Unfortunately my receipt was lost/stolen and I cannot locate the tracking number. Canada Post is refusing to help in any way whatsoever without a tracking number. They refuse to use My identity and payment method as proof to help me retrieve the tracking number and try to locate the envelope. - It is extremely disappointing and frustrating they refuse to help me even if it is in exchange of an additional fee for the investigation service. Losing a tracking number for example due to theft, should be a reasonably expected to happen from time to time by this business. And mechanism should be in place to protect against it, such as emailing customers tracking numbers or recording tracking numbers in their systems along with customer names for a set period of time. This is extremely disheartening; I feel cheated and let down by the business.Business Response

I ordered an item on **** and Canada post was the courier of choice. I was happy to find out that my package was going to be delivered today. However to my horror, I checked my tracking number at 2pm today and low and behold found that my item was "delivered" at 1127am. I know for a fact that Canada post did not deliver my package to me at this time as I have access to the cameras on the floor where our cart for where my companys packages go and no courier showed up at 1127. or any Canada post courier for the entire day. I tried reaching out to Canada post and the have a phone system in place that makes you not able to talk to a real person but a repetitive annoying robot. I looked everywhere for this package and its no where. I tried reaching out to **** but because **** said the package was "delivered" there is nothing they can do!! I now have a 80 dollar package just floating around somewhere and no answers to any of my questions!! This is so irritating and I feel like i lost money that I will not be able to get returned. I just want my item! Why is Canada post delivery drivers saying they are delivering items when they arent!! I JUST WANT MY PACKAGE!Business Response
