Awful service. I paid for 2 days guaranty ******************* Sent Monday at 8:16 am Nov 27 and ************* delivery happened only on Friday Dec 1st. Canada Post answer to my claim was: "We have received your request for a postage refund. Our records indicate that Canada Post service standards were met as the item was delivered on time. As a result, we are unable to issue a postage refund." Canada Post standard is: 2 days = 5 days and 60$ = 30$.It looks that Canada Post is not afraid of losing its reputation, because looking at all the reviews, it doesnt have any good reputation anyway.Canada Post Corporation

I am currently dealing with the loss of a package by Canada Post. If this is solved, I will update this review. However, as it stands now, my experience is entirely ludicrous. I received a delivery notice in my community mailbox stating that a package will be at the *********** to pick up the following day after 1 p.m. That part is quite standard. However, I made the trip to the *********** three times since then, and the package never showed up. They advised me to call customer service. This is where things really went off the rails. **************** asked me what the package is and who it is from. Well, none of that is on the notice, so I have no idea. It could be a Christmas gift; who knows? So they say they can't help me. They have information as to where the package was shipped from, but cannot share with me. They say that the post carrier may have mistakenly written up a notice AND put the package in the mail box by mistake. I didn't receive a package in the mailbox that day. But since they won't provide me with any information, I cannot confirm or deny whether the package was at some point put in the mailbox afterwards. They are basically saying it is my job to figure it out.....but how?Canada Post Corporation

What an awful operation. I do my best to avoid using Canada Post and will always pay extra not to use them. In this case, no other carrier was available so I paid extra for expedited.....not sure Canada Post knows what that means. They're called snail mail for a reason.Canada Post Corporation

Where to start. My business moved to a new location and the ****************** dropped the ball completely for 3 months. I was sending out Test Letters, just to see if I get these back. So far, 2 of 4 were forwarded, one two months late. One was returned to sender and I am still awaiting the fourth.Canada Post Corporation

Ordered an item that was shipped with Canada Post and it never arrived, they updated the status saying they left a notice card on where to pick it up which was untrue. I don't see how the main post service our area can get away with just failing to deliver packages and pretending they tried when they haven't even shown up, I have access to our security cameras and don't see any instance of the driver showing up at the address they were supposed to deliver to. I'd rather not give a rating at all. Though I am receiving mail at new home in ******* just fine. I have now twice attempted to send a regular letter mail to my daughter in ** from my home in AB. Both times is was returned to sender. The address and postal code is correct. Second time the post guy at the office, placed a sticker to rewrite the address, the exact same address. As was verified by the public service line help guy. So there is no reason for it to be returned, he said. My dilemma how to mail to my daughters important family business and holiday or birthday items? This is the 1st year for doing this since our move. Im can honestly say I have no confidence in Canada Post's professional conduct. As of yet I have not used the business service I enrolled in. Likely in my mind a good thing. As I stand up for professional conduct to my clients. I am considering using Purolator or ***** as they have not failed me in my business package delivery'sCanada Post Corporation

I ordered an item which was sent via Canada Post with a tracking number. I was following its progress to my city in Canada, and then it simply seems to have disappeared, while in Canada Post's care. The tracking number showed, 'Out for delivery' and then suddenly, 'Please check back for updates'. When 3 days later it still had not updated, I called Canada Post where a representative helped me file a claim for a package that hadn't been delivered. A week later, there were will no updates, nor had the package been delivered. I called back and asked to speak with a supervisor this time, who let me know that the representative who was supposed to file my claim had made 'an error', and the claim had not been processed at all- Even though I received an email and a text stating that a claim had been processed...!! The supervisor then let me know that, even with a tracking number attached and the package arriving in my city, it had now been lost- They had no idea where the package was, or why it hadn't been delivered.This was two major mistakes with one single order- My package wasn't delivered and was lost by Canada Post, even with a tracking number. Further, when I followed the process outlined by Canada Post for packages not delivered (call and file a claim), the process was done incorrectly by their staff. These errors were made, AND were not noticed or corrected by Canada Post or its staff. This is the SECOND TIME in less than 2 years that I have had a package lost by Canada Post. Not only are they absolutely unreliable, their ability to solve problems and provide accurate customer service is just as terrible. If I could always avoid using Canada Post I would. Every other shipping company provides exceptionally better service. As a result, I will never recommend nor use Canada Post if I can help it. Poor services. I am missing my parcel and I have my wedding dress in it. I dont know how they mismatched the labels on the parcels. They have no clue where the parcel is. We are trying to get in touch with them, they just open the ticket the time we are on call with. The ticket gets closed immediately we are off the call. How they can be so careless about these things? It is not a small parcel. Its really disappointing that I post my wedding outfit package.Canada Post Corporation

Would give 0 stars if possible.3 piece shipment sent to ** from ******* for over 120$, 2 packages are correctly delivered with a 3rd being dumped at a random location no-where near its intended destination. Thankfully the homeowner was nice enough to return it to a post office. Contacted Canada Post to reorganized delivery and was basically told they cant do anything about it and I will have to sort it out myself when the package is returned to me. Package was returned to me only after Canada Post charged me a further 45$ for graciously returning my parcel, I now have no method of sending the package without spending more of my money to hopefully have Canada Post do their job this time around. Their website purposefully sends you in circles with options like contact us simply redirecting you back to the exact same customer support page you were already on. They dont want you to contact them and will do anything possible to ensure you cannot reach a person. Disappointing is an understatement and I cannot stress it enough, use any other shipping company.Canada Post Corporation

The worst delivery service in North America. Expedited to Canada Post means you'll get your package 1 week late instead of 2 weeks.To Canada Post definition of expedited:expedite /'****??dit/verb past tense: expedited; past participle: expedited make (an action or process) happen sooner or be accomplished more quickly.Canada Post Corporation
