I live in an apartment with a community mailbox. Today I received a notification that my package was delivered to the community mailbox. So I went to retrieve it and no key was left in my mailbox to access the package. This has happened before, and the carrier put the key for my package in the wrong mailbox. I tried using the chat on the Canada post website, but when the issue is the fault of CP that is not an available solution. I somehow got to speak to an agent who opened a ticket to investigate why the package wasn't delivered. But this is NOT the issue. The issue is there was no key left in my mailbox. Such a frustrating and annoying company to deal with. I rarely have packages delivered by CP, but when I do, 2 out of 3 times, it's screwed up by them and they don't care. I guess I'm out $65 for the item I ordered.Canada Post Corporation

Well sometimes you just have to say it like it is. In April of 2023 I shipped a modem back to ****** since I upgraded my modem. It took Canada Post 5 months to deliver the modem. In the mean time that modem that I shipped back was still on my account as being active and ****** kept add the monthly fee and it ended up at nearly $400 dollars on the account. I contacted ****** so many times as well as Canada Post. Finally Canada Post updated the modem being delivered and ****** put a derogatory record on my credit bureau,. I contacted CCTS and they are sitting on this while my credit has been damaged.Second incident I shipped out returned items to ****** on Sept 11 and Canada Post has not delivered the package to ****** it is sitting in ******** the designated destination. I had to contact Canada Post and they have launched an investigation. The person I spoke with had the energy of a piece o paper and really had no insight on why this keeps occurring.Canada Post Corporation

What kind of a public image does Canada Post have with graffiti & postering all over their community boxes?d I called customer service to ask them to take accountability for the community mailbox on my street & have postering of 3 business stickered flyers on it.I was given a tracking number for maintance & was informed it would happen by this week Thursday.An area Canada Post supervisor came to my door & was annoyed the call was placed. He said " I expected to see a ****** mess". He also replied business stickers are on all the boxes. He left and the community mailbox was not cleaned.What kind of a public image does Canada Post have with graffiti & postering all over their community boxes?Canada post opens tickets but does not resolve my issue.Date of experience: September 19, 2023Canada Post Corporation

I would give them a zero - there service is terrible - I live in a building and they will not deliver anything that needs a signature its against ther collective agreement ! I have a special needs son that cannot be left alone if I dont go down stairs - 4 floors only I have to Go to *** post office to pick up!I will be taking this further as they are the first to complain that service is decking and fewer people are sensing snail mail - is it any wonder why ?Canada Post Corporation

I received notification from CP that the parcel could not be delivered as no one was home. The reschedule link would not accept a ** address ZIP code, it only accepts Postal Codes. The recipient will only be there in the mornings but the reschedule options are for the day, nothing more specific. I selected the Chat with us option several times but a chat screen did not open. I called the customer help phone number, I was told that there was unusually high wait times. I tried waiting but no one picked up. I tried the automated help service but it was unable to understand the issue. All I want is to get the package back. Ive had problems like this before with CP. Ill definitely use a different delivery service in the future.Canada Post Corporation

Absolutely terrible service: I live in *************** and had a letter registered with Canada Post at the London Drugs postal outlet near me at ***************************** on July 06 destined for my niece ******************, c/o my brother *************************** at PO Box ****, Roseau, ************************. Might I add that ******** is an island in ************* and not the ******************. The letter has still not arrived and the tracking # indicates that it was delivered to its destination of Nlhagi ***********. As of tracking this morning, the letter is still intransit but in Nlhaga, ***********. I have exhausted entering information to your Virtual Attendant (most ridiculous application) and have yet to receive any text information to my phone # which I also provided when I registered for text message updates. To say that I am completely disappointed with Canada Post is an understatement. I can provide the tracking information separately to you.Canada Post Corporation

Canada Post keeps parking in front of the fire hydrant that also has no parking signs posted on either side. Sometimes for up to 30 mins.I have complained to Canada Post and the *** and nothing has been done, they just do what they want.I would upload pictures if it were allowed, because I have pictures of them doing it over multiple days.I will wait and see if complaining here actually does anything. And if they don't change their ways, I will look at a way to have it cost them money every time they break the law, since the bottom line is all that matters to them.Canada Post Corporation

I live in a building and my mail slot is in my apartment door.all packages are delivered and left in front of the door. I have a "Delivery Preference" on Canada post app as Front Door.I was at home all morning waiting for my package which is already late.I got a notification on the app that a notice card was left.No notice card was left. No package was left in front of the door as I requested. Nobody knocked on my door. I was at home waiting for the package.This is not the first time this happened. Some agents bring the package to the door, others don't even bother.Now they expect me to go to the post office TOMORROW, to pick up a package that is already late because the agent didn't feel like delivering it.I called customer service and filed a complaint. They said that they will investigate.They never do. I complained before for the exact same issue.Canada Post Corporation

Since BBB won't let me list the Tracking Number for the Registered letter. This will be generic.Canada post is unwilling to bend in any way. I have registered letters (2 of them) sent to the same address and I shipped a package to the same address and also a non registered letter. All were received and acted on by the company. Another registered letter did not arrive. Canada post still wants "A CONFIRMATION OF MAILING ADDRESS FROM THE RECEIVER". Logic tells me Canada Post doesn't listen, ************ has set in.If Canada Posts own system for registered letters indicates that the letter was not received why put the onus on the customer to prove that the letter was not received. " A RECENT DECLARATION OF NON-RECEIPT FROM THE RECEIVER IS REQUIRED" Canada Post must already understand that getting that information from some companies is near impossible and this is one more technique to squash any compensation.(X)Canada Post Corporation
