We asked for repair for a door hinge of a ** ******** refrigerator. A Team Appliance Repair came to our home and said the door hinge was broken and needed to be replaced. The cost was $3,544.02 including $295 labour. We were asked to pay the part and labour cost upfront in cash or bank debit. After a week a repair person returned to do the repair but the door still did not close properly. We asked that they return and fix it. They did come back but we were told that we would just have to live with it. The door issue is worse than before they installed new part. It does not work after paying $3,544.02!!!Initial Complaint

I booked a service call for my fridge. As a renter, I needed the company to connect with my landlord before the day of service to set up payment and confirm any needed repairs could proceed. I also needed this done ahead of time in the event my landlord could not be reached during the time of the repair as he works in the day.
The company emailed me to confirm they received my landlord's contact info and will connect with him.
The day of the call the repair man showed up and they did not connect ahead of time with my landlord. My landlord could not be reached as he was working. The repair man refused to work and left. No repairs were done.
I reached out to the company right away to explain what happened. The company emailed me advising they must have copied my landlords contact information down wrong.
They later sent me an invoice for $90.40 for the service call. I explained that their company confirmed they would pre-reach out to my landlord and they failed to do so. If they had of proceeded as requested, and as they confirmed, there would not have been an issue and neither my landlord or I should have to pay.

Paid $956.21 for coin chute but instead technician installed a digital piece (electronic ) so he sayz. instead.
The initial consult was advised that he was ordering a coin chute which would allow us to increase the coin $ amount for the commercial washing machine. Upon install date - he advised that the piece to increase the dollar amount would be an additional $800 dollars or so.
When called the company to try and resolve - they advised there was nothing that they could do and that the tech did not do any wrong. When we decided to order the part for the coin machine to work - we were told that it would allow us to increase the dollar amount for the commercial washer. The receipt even states Coin chute but now the company is calling it a coin meter. I would like a full refund *** ****** **** ******* ** ***********Initial Complaint

I contacted them to fix my fridge which was not cooling. They sent a service man on 05/03/2025 to look for the problem with my fridge at the initial cost of $80.00. The serviceman came and checked my fridge and told me total cost of $333.35 as some part has to be replaced. I agreed and paid him the amount after he said the fridge is fixed( He did not show me what part was replaced, He gave me a month of Warranty)The next day I found both fridge and freezer not working(Fridge was not working earlier but Freezer was working well).I called the Office about it but they told me they can't help as something else was bad. I had to contact another Company to come and check and my Fridge/Freezer were fixed at the cost of $250.00.I was told that Fridge/Freezer were not working because of Ice Build up.Initial Complaint

The technician left my house a few hours ago *** *** ***** ** *****,
He was ***** ****, was on the phone the whole time and barely even looked at me or talked to me.
My problem was that the microwave plate was not turning. All he did was put something in the microwave and turn it on, to see it was indeed not turning.
Then he proceeded to give me a quote for a new motor.
So... I paid $80 plus taxes for him to do something I had already done????
How does he know it needs a new motor? How does he know it's not some part that is misplaced or detached?
When it was time to pay, I tried to tap my card and he ****** the machine away from me, pulled the card out of my hand and did it himself. ** *** ********** ***********

On Jan 1 2025, I placed a service call to THE A TEAM APPLIANCE REPAIR company @###-###-####. An appointment was scheduled for Friday Jan 24/25. The technician arrived and conducted a diagnostic on my refrigerator. It was determined that I needed a new Inverter Board.
I was charged that day for the diagnostic service as well as the Inverter Board that needed to be ordered on my behalf.
I was informed that I this was a guranatee to fix the issue at hand and that this new part should and last for the next ten years. This was a verbal contract. My total bill added up to $1217.90, in which i paid $778.23 up front.
On Jan 31/25, the technician ***** returned with the part and installed it. I paid the balance of the bill in full. He mentioned that I needed approximately 5 to 6 hours for the fridge to reach the right cooling temperature. I placed another call to have the technician return. On Feb 2, 2025 ***** the technician returned and mentioned to me after looking at my refrigerator that he forgot to switch on the "Inverter Board" to kick start the refrigerator. Again he said that this should fix the issue and it should only take 2 - 3 hours to reach the cooling tempature. IT DID NOT.
A fourth call was placed on Feb 3rd, ***** the technician returned and said to me that I need a new compressor which will cost me an additional $1400.00. I was so taken back by this as a diangsotic was preformed and no mention of a compressor was brought up. I asked him to leave my home and that I was goign to call the head office.
On the same day I called the Head Office and I spoke directly to the Customer Service manager and told me that there is nothing further they can do for me. I *** ********* ***** *** asked even to refund part of the cost as I still do not have a working refrigerator. She *** ***** *** hung up the phone. I tried calling back and it appeared that my number may of been blocked.

After $660 plus they didn’t fix the issue and I had to buy a new dryer for $1100

- **July 15, 2024:** invoice attached with payment pending on CC ** **** ending in **** The company repair person visited again, acknowledged the ongoing issue, and stated the
following:
- "This is an existing ongoing issue, that should not be a new invoice. It should be covered
under warranty for faulty part."
4. **E?orts to Seek Resolution:**

- Head o?ce response: No assistance provided, stating it was up to the manufacturer.
- Request for part number and serial number was declined.

calls with the 12 minute call beginning at 4:06 pm.
Given the unresolved issues and the repair technician's acknowledgment that the problem
should be covered under warranty, I am requesting a full refund for the charges incurred:
- $660 charged to **** ending ****.
- $285 to card ending 0302.
The repeated failures to resolve the issue and the inadequate customer service provided
by A-Team Appliance Repair have caused significant inconvenience and financial loss.Initial Complaint

**** ******** *** *** ********* ********* They kept me waiting for a part for months saying it had shipped and just keep waiting, meanwhile it had been discontinued the whole time. I finally spoke to one of their agents who admitted that to me. And then soon after that, I couldn’t get in touch with that person anymore so I don’t know if they were fired for letting the cat out out of the bag. Anyway, I finally requested a refund as their policy is that they will refund you for parts if they can’t fix your problem. And they charged a restocking fee - even though there was nothing to restock, and they had never ordered the part because it doesn’t exist. Also, my dishwasher worked before they touched it. It was glitchy, but it worked. And they snipped out part of it and took it with . So basically I ended up with a charge and a dishwasher that no longer works. ****** ********** ******** ********
