      ** ******* **** *** ******** called The A Team - Appliance Repair on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 to diagnose an issue with their ** Fridge which caused it to no longer cool. This company advised them over the phone that they can do a diagnostic of the problem, at a cost of $80. After visiting ** ******* home, the technician seemingly did the diagnostic, but then presented them a bill of $290 + HST. He did not replace any parts, he did not repair a thing, yet told them the issue was resolved and allow for an hour for the fridge to begin cooling again. He then presented them a bill of $290 + HST, despite advising via phone prior to visiting, that the call would only be $80. The fridge never began cooling again. **** ** *** called them to advise that the issue was not resolved, they then advised that it's because they were ordering a $1400 new compressor unit. This was never discussed by the repairman and was not a cost that was approved by the customer. **** ** *** called them back to try to come to a resolution, the customer service representative repeatedly hung up the phone and ignored ***** calls. * **** ** **** *** **** * ****** ******* **** **** ******* *** **** ******** ****** ******* ***** **** ******* ****** *********  ******* **** ****** ******** **** **** **** ** ******* ****** ******* ********** ** ***** ********* ** ******* ********** ** ***** **** received a larger than expected bill while the problem they were called for still persists. ****** **** ** ********* **** ***** *** ******** **** ******* **** ******* ******** *******

      On Dec 30,2024, a technician fromThe A Team Appliance Repair came to service our ***** Refrigerator . The top freezer door was wobbly and the indicator light showing the filter needed to be cleaned was on.
      When the technician came out, he said we needed a new fan motor and gasket, which was quite surprising as the refrigerator wasn't even four years old. We agreed to the repair.
      On Feb 10,2025 the technician returned and installed the fan motor and gasket. Then our icemaker stopped working.
      On Feb 20, the technician returned and said he had reset the timer on the icemaker and if we didn't have ice within 24 hours we needed a new icemaker. When I pointed out that it was working before he got here, he just repeated that we needed a new icemaker.
      Subsequently, I contacted ***** directly and one of their own technicians came out this morning and discovered that not only was one of the impeller blades broken , the fan was not even plugged in, the temperature of the freezer had been set so low that the condenser had frozen over.
      The ***** technician defrosted everything and plugged in the broken fan and immediately we could hear the icemaker taking in water!
      I phoned The Appliance Repair Team and told them what the ***** Technician had discovered and the woman on the phone said that if the fan was broken, we must have broken it and continued to insist that we needed a new icemaker despite me telling her that the ***** Technician was in my house and that was not the case.
      She repeatedly talked over me, saying the same thing over and over again, not letting me say anything and after me asking her to ***** ** *** * ******, so I could finish what I was saying", she hung up on me.

      ****** **** **** ***** ****** ** **** ** * ************ * ** ******* ** ******** **** * ********* ********* the service provided by The A Team Appliance Repair on February 10 2025. ***** *** ****** ** ******** ** *** ************ **** ********* ** *** ****** ***** *** ********* ****** *** ****** ***** ************** *** ******** ******** On February 10, 2025, a technician visited our home to service our dryer, which was in working condition at the time. The technician stated that certain parts were needed, charged us $316 for them, but never installed them. After the technician left, the dryer appeared to be working, and we assumed the service had been completed correctly.
      However, when we attempted to use the dryer three days later, it would not function under a load. I immediately contacted the customer service department to report the issue, only to be hung up on. Over the next several days, I made multiple attempts to get a resolution:
      I requested a call back four times, but none were returned.
      When I finally reached a representative, I was informed that a technician would call within 24 hours to book a time to repair but this never happened.
      After three more days, I called again and was told that the company had no intention of fixing the issue.
      I requested to speak with a manager (*****), but she refused to take my call and relayed through the representative that we would need to pay an additional $460 for further service.
      The representative assured me that ***** would call me back, but after five more days, I still have not received any follow-up.
      **** ********** *** **** ********** *********** *** ************. Your company’s failure to properly service my appliance, charge for uninstalled parts, and dismiss my repeated concerns raises serious questions about both the quality of work and customer service ******.

      Our refridgerator wasn't working (Feb. 18, '25). Technician visited ($80+tx). He said the problem would be fixed by servicing the main-board and he can do so ($210+tax), we agreed. He did say the next problem we would have is the compressor would fail in the future but this current 'service' would fix the fridge but to allow four to six hours to become cold again.
      It never became cold.

Upon my calling to ask for a proper fridge fix they refused and said I would need a compressor ($1,700+tax) which is not what I was told when the technician was on site. I asked for my $210+tax to be returned as it was taken under false pretenses. They refused as it was 'labour'. This is seemingly how they steal our money: they do 'work' which is not required and do not give back the money (and given they do not accept credit cards there is no mitigating recall action we can take to return the payment).

      feb 05 2025- From this company cane to repair my washer. The person charged me $316 and advised that don’t turn on for 24 hours.
      It is fixed now. Then he said there is a guarantee for 1 year with the same issue they will come to fix it. He did not mention at all about any other problem.
      I turned on the washer 24 hours after, same issue. Same problem. I called and they denied what they said.

      I had a broken ***** dishwasher and I asked that they send a technician. He came and assessed the dishwasher which he said would be ordered from *****. We kept calling sbd they kept saying they haven't received the part. On the 18th of January they came in to install the part while we were away. We returned 9th of February and the dishwasher wasn't working. The technician came again on the 11th February and asked we pay another $1400 for another part. I declined and mentioned that no one has used the dishwasher so it means when he installed it it wasn't working. He said it's the electricity that could have damaged it.. and all sorts of excuse. We called back customer care for refund , since the part installed wasn't working. She has been aware of 4 months of unresolved issues, said there is nothing they can do except a discount on a new part. **** ****** ** ******* when she saw we were unhappy with the service she ****** ********* *** said we were not allowing her speak.
      ***** ****** *** ************* ** ********** ************ ********** *** ****** ****** ********* ** *** ****** **** *** ******* *** **** **** *** ******* **** **** *** We have lost almost $1900, 4 months ** ******** and no solution to our problem.

      The A team appliance repair team sent out a worker to repair our washing machine. We were told it would cost 80.00 to have someone sent out to look at it, and if we agree to the service we would be able to put $80 towards our service.

      Upon arrival, the technician stated that he would be able to fix the machine and the cost would be $290 + tax. He stated that he would fix the draining system, main board. We agreed and signed an invoice stating we owed $290.00 for the completion of his service in fixing the machine.

      When he finished, he stated it was totally fixed and advised us not to overload the washer and it would be fine.

      The next morning, it was still not working so we called to have him come back. Only to find out he added on the previously signed invoice that we need a part that would cost $763.99 plus tax. We did not sign the invoice with that information, as when we signed the invoice it stated 290 for labour.

      When he left our house originally, he said it was fixed and in working condition. It is not, and we would not have agreed to have him work on it if it required a new part that cost 763 (as we could buy an entirely new washing machine for around that cost).
      He also ************ wrote on a signed invoice after the fact.

      My stove is broken and this company sent a technician to come for inspection, he indicated that all we need to fix is the infinity switch and provided the quote of 500. he also mentioned there is one year warranty if the stove is broken again, they will fix it free of charge. we paid all he asked for but the Stove was only fixed for 1 week, the following week, it stopped working again, we call the repair company who sent another technician to inspect the stove and he found a completely different issue asking for another 700. Its not the same technician so he cannot comment on what was done the last time. **** ** * ******* **** **** they just keep telling you more parts are broken so they could charge you more every time there is an “new” issue, and the warranty is completely nonexistent. I called the customer service trying to remediate this issue but they are **** **** *** unhelpful, they put me on hold for multiple times without even letting me talk and said there is nothing they could do if i dont pay for another 700 dollars to fix it. **** ******* ******** **** **** **** ******** ** ***** **** ********* ** *** **** *** ** ** *** **** ***** ** ******* ** *** ** ***** ***** I asked for refund since the first repair did not do anything to fix the issue but the answer I received was IMPOSSIBLE!!!

      I was told I had a lifetime warranty on my washer that they repaired. Spent over $600 and when the machine started leaking I called back to get somebody in to fix it thinking this would be an easy straight forward resolution.       November 23, 2024. I paid to have our ******* oven repaired. This company had me pay $882.14 in advance with my bank card. After two months of waiting for them to repair the circuit board on the oven, I was told the parts required for the board were no longer being manufactured. Since they could not repair the oven, they told me I was getting a refund for the full amount. We also just purchased a new oven, as a result. When I attempted to contact them to get my refund, I was told just today, I was not getting one.
