1 starMy ********** dishwasher broke down just in 1 year Bought in the end and we booked for repair with the merchant the Appliance repair team who told they are from ********** .I was told they would charge $80 plus whatever parts will be required to change. When the technician came he told the Machin required service the machine which will cost (280.00+tax)$ 316.40/-With in 5 minutes he said everything done,I have repaired it for time
and since we cover services up to 90 days, you can decide that if you want to get it done for that cost . If something happens in between we will keep oncontinuing visit up to 90 days as it’s covered in the same cost to repair it. It is by default in our service process. Still He marked
90 days option in the form and informed if anything happens please do call us.The very next day the machine stopped functioning, when I called the customer care **** **** ** ** was not ready to listen what I am trying to say and gave a blunt reply that your part needs to be changed and nobody can visit to check again although the receipt he has provided clearly says that he will visit if there is a problem within 90 days.I tried to speak to the
Manager multiple times . Everytime they said Manager is not available .Finally I asked for an email. It’s a clear cut case of scam which they do to innocent customers who have very little or no knowledge of technicalities of product. In the process of taking out the dishwasher the technician also damaged my kitchen wall .When I wrote emails to the Manager he agreed that his technician has broken the wall but was ready to pay only 40 dollars .When I wrote the whole story he asked to contact customer service to chat and said they will resolve ,when I tried to chat they put me on hold and never camel .**** * *** ***** ****** **** **** ** **** ****** **** ** *** **** *** **** ******* ******** * ***** ******* *** ********** **** **** ****** ** ****** ***** **** *** ********** *** **** **** **** *** **** ********** *Review fromChristina O

1 star** ***** ****** * ** *** *** **** ******* * ***** ******** ********** **** ******* ** ****** ***** **** ******* ** Appliance Repair Team advised it would cost $80 to diagnose the problem with our dryer and they would provide ALL THE TOTAL COSTS to repair before conducting any work. The technician advised the only issue was our rotator needed to be rotated and the total cost would be $285. If we proceed with this, then there would be no $80 charge for the diagnoses. The amount seemed steep but we proceeded with the repair. Afterwards the technician advised the belt was broken (we were not present with the technician at this time). The belt would cost $196 in which ** and other retailers only charge $50 for the part. This was not what we had agreed to and in discussion with Customer Service, they would review afterward work was completed. In good faith, we proceed with the work and paid the technician. The company refused to reduce the cost of the belt *** ***** ************* ******* ******** ****** ***** ********* ******* ******** **** ****** * ******** ******* **** ** ***** *** **** *********** **** ******** *********** **** ********** ********* ** *** **** ******* ********* * ***** **** **** * **** ****** *** * *******Review fromGEORGE D

1 starWe called for a service for Stove top (it has 4 burner and 2 didn't work properly, seems to be ignition problem as there is gas but the flame won't start) and dishwasher and was told $80 will be charge for a technician to come for consultation. The technician came 28th April, he gave us 2 options for fixing the stove top. First option is to change the burner, that cost around six hundred plus tax but it will last 15 years. Second option is he can fix it without new parts for $280 plus tax but it will only last 2 or 3 years. My husband choose the second option for $280, he opened the stove and did the "fix", left the burner on when he leave, told us it should be on for the next 10 minutes to burn all the moist inside, charged us $560 plus tax = $632.80 (cash as they don't take credit card), then issued us the invoice. But after he left the stove still doesn't work, in fact 1 got worse than before so I called the customer service rep but they refuse to take responsibility, saying their technician suggested to change the parts and we didn't accept. The problem is we were given 2 options, we were told he can fix it for $280 that will last 2 or 3 years but it did not even last 2 months! Also the dishwasher he didn't do much either, he opened up the sink pipe then ask me to clean the parts in the dishwasher after and get dishwasher cleaner at *******, I did all these myself after he left.
This technician and this company is very dishonest, never met or use any company like them.Review fromPamela V

1 starExtremely unprofessional. I had a Dishwasher repair job. Their technician came in to fix it; at first, they said there was a parts issue that would need to be replaced and gave an estimate of 400 dollars. When I looked up the part, it cost 40 dollars at **** *****. I confronted the technician with this information. They backtracked and said only the drain needed to be fixed. They charged us 300 dollars, and when they left, they tightened the railings that their technicians took out, and as a result, we could not use the upper tray. I called customer service, were not only rude, but they also started bullying me. In the end, they refused to send anyone to fix their mistake. My mistake is that I did not check with BBB; it looks like they have a list of complaints and are not accredited. Needless to say that I will complain as well. But caution for anyone thinking of using this business. They are not professional and do not take responsibility for any damage to your appliance.Review fromMICHAEL K

1 star**** ******* ** * ******** ***** They told us they would send someone to our house for $80 to give us a quote on the repair. They did a useless "repair" (with my son present) and then called me to tell me we needed a new part that would cost $1422. I told them not to do anything but they still charged us for the work they never quoted ($322.20). I asked if our refrigerator was working and he said "yes". The next day my son woke up and the refrigerator was broken again and all of our food had gone bad. When I called the company they told me the $80 did not include labour and that labour was not refundable. 1 starWow! I wished I had read any one of these reviews before calling this company. Worst service Ever. ********* ***** **** *** * **** **** **** **** *******. Like so many before me I was charged $290.00 for absolutely nothing. My washing machine stopped working,so I called and 2 guys show up in a ***,no company car.(first red flag)After checking machine, they come up and say circuit board is not working and repair would be $290.00 but would not fix till I paid them upfront.(second red flag)So I debit amount, which I knew was a big mistake as soon as I did it. They go back downstairs and after 10 min come back up and now say mother board is gone and another $655.00(TAXES EXTRA-THIS MOTHER BOARD MUST BE MADE OF GOLD)and if I had paid them how many more times would they have come and with something more. I sent them packing.Dealing with the office is another horror story. I got Maria twice, would not let me speak to a supervisor(and noone has ever called me back, ever)*** **** **** *** kept interupting and talking over me . I hope people read these reviews and not use these people and hopefully they will go out of business because we all work very hard for our money and should give it to good businesses with good ethics(which I'm sure are still out there)UNFORTUNATELY THIS COMPANY IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Review fromSiaf K

1 starI had a repair tech at my property to conduct an initial assessment, where he identified an issue and quoted me a specific cost. He ordered parts and went into the home only to find additional issues. I was told it will cost more money in order to fully repair the washing machine.
This should have been quoted in the initial assessment as it’s not allowing customers to make an informed decision on whether to proceed. This also creates a **** customer experience and is an inconvenience to the tenants who now do not have a washing machine. There was no notification of the technician going back to the property to fix the machine, so I was unaware that he was even there.
The technician should have fully explained in our initial call that there was a possibility that there could be additional problems, even if they’re unable to identify them when they first look. The customer leans them as the expert to provide this disclosure. An appointment to install the parts prior to just entering the property without my knowledge should have been setup. This is **** business practice as I fully disclosed this is a rental property they should not be entering a property without first letting the property owner know.
In business, you should provide disclosure, there should be clear communication, you should not enter a property without the confirmation from the owner, and you should outline what the costs are to allow the customer to make an informed decision. As a result I’m out over $600, with a washing machine that still needs to be replaced. I mistakenly did not read company reviews prior to scheduling a service call.Review fromJosie C

1 star**** *** * ******** ***** I was quoted $70 to have a repairman come out. Once he arrived, said it would be 280 plus tax to look at it. After looking at it said I would need a motor and that it would most likely be covered under warranty with ********. Said they could install a new one for $500 if I wanted. Why did I have to pay 320 in total? I would never use this company again *** ***** * ********* ***** Please read the reviews
