      Slow, Terrible customer service. Waste of money. Didn’t honour warranty. Manager never called me back.

      Called to repair a 2 year old upright freezer (**********).
      They charged $280 + Tax in advance. The technician checked and said the start relay was stuck and he used a magnet to unstick it, plugged it back in said it cool within 24 hours. Told me to sign off on the work order, which I did. Within a 30 minutes of him leaving the freezer was doing the same thing, relay clicking off , coils not cooling. I called back and they said they would not have him return and it say on the report that I need a compressor. I went back to the hand written invoice and there is illegible scribal that they claim says compressor. The technician did not mention a compressor at all during his visit. If I would have been told tis I would not have proceeded as the cost would be more the than 50% of a replacement freezer.
      The fact is that he wrote illegible information on the invoice that that was not consistent with what I was told verbally and they are now ***** about it.
      So the result is they won't return, they spent less than 30 minutes charged me $316.40 only accepted debit (can't get it back) and they I don't have a working freezer.

      ** * ***** **** * ***** * ****** Had a technician come out on a Sunday to fix my dryer. He told ** ******* it was the computer and he needed 30 mins to fix and it would cost us $320+tax. He said wait for 70 mins before testing. Well, 70 mins came and went and the dryer isn't fixed and the company is refusing to come back out - regardless that we have this "one year warranty" on service. ***** ***** **** ****** *** ** ** *********

      I called them to repair the water dispenser on my ** ******* Fridge. I was quoted $80.00 for the visit and diagnoses and to be deducted from the cost of the repair if I decided to go with them.
      On Tuesday Nov. 05/ 2024, Mike the technician showed up and after 20 minutes looking around my fridge, he quoted me $320.00 for the labour cost plus the parts. I said fine but I need to know the total cost of the parts. 5 minutes later he told me that the total cost will be $1,500.00 plus taxes. I said no thank you I will not go ahead with the repair, then he can get me a discount, and offered me $1,100.00 plus taxes. I refused their offer and took out $80.00 to pay for their visit. At this time he refused and asked for a full payment of $320.00 for the labour cost because I already agreed to pay. I refused to pay and the technician left & told me he will send me to a Collection Agent. Next day I got a call from the company advising that the $320.00 plus tax will show as an unpaid bill on my credit.

      ***** ******* ** * ****** ******* ** ** **** *** ****** *** ***** ** *** *** ** *********** contacted the A Team to service her ********* refrigerator that was leaking water on her hardwood kitchen floors. The service tech arrived and quickly diagnosed that the refrigerator required a new water filter cartridge head that was "unaligned". The price quoted was a shocking $2,230.85 to diagnose, supply and install the required part. The part portion of the bill was stated as $1679.20 + HST. When challenged on the price of the part the technician said that "this is an expensive fridge worth $12,000.00.The parts are from Germany and very expensive." ******** **** *** ********** *** ******* ** *** ******** **** ******* ** **** ******* ** ****** agreed to go ahead with the repair. The part would have to be ordered in and installed at a later date. The technician returned 19 days later with the filter head and installed it. I was present when this work was completed and kept the old part which they replaced. ****** **** * ****** ******* ******* ********** ****** *** ** ****** *** being familiar with water filter cartridge heads, I recognized that this part was nothing special. I later discovered that this IDENTICAL part could be purchased by myself from a Canadian supplier for $155.00 + shipping and handling! The total time that the technicians were on site for this repair was less than 2 hours over 2 visits. I discussed my concerns with their customer service representative and her comment was "that's our price and you agreed to it." Yes we did based on trust. The bottom line here is that this appliance service company ** *** ** ** ******** They grossly overprice their parts *** *** ******** ** *** ***** *******

      They tell you what’s wrong and then charge you 3 times the amount of what the part is worth and you don’t even know..*** ** ***** *** *** I believed them.I gave them a deposit of 3/4 the price of the repair,signed the paperwork and was told see you when they receive the part.Days later I ******* the price of the part and I was shocked to see the difference in price..Also viewed a video of how to do the repair and was shocked at how little time it took to do the repair.20 minutes and yet they charged me $190.00 plus tax..When I asked about a little bit of a discount the repairman said he would leave with the part and I would be charged a re stocking fee as well as service charge.I needed the appliance to be repaired so I said get it done.I could not do this myself ******* * ********* ** ***** **** ** *** ********* *** **** but I guess money talks and the rest is **.When I called the office afterwards they showed no remorse..PLEASE BE VERY AWARE of this business..*** **

      ** *** **** **** ******** They don’t know what they’re doing. They order expensive parts pretending it will solve the problem. You have to pay for everything upfront so I felt pressured in ordering the part after paying for the visit and diagnosis. The tech was abrupt and **** and did not explain anything. He contradicted himself telling me the motor was fine since the drum was spinning but when he couldn’t fix the problem, he washed his hands of it and told me to call the manufacturer since the motor is under warranty with them. *** ******** ********* **** *** ******* ** ****** ** *** ** ** money back for the lack of service. We ended up paying almost as much as the cost of the 2 ½ year old machine and we're back where we started from. I regret calling them. ***** **** *** **** ******* * ****

      *** ******* ** * ***** My mother got taken for $1000 & never received a repair. She then had to go and buy a new stove. I have been trying to get her money back but to no avail. I keep hearing its in the mail, our accounting people only come in once a month, I will look into it...all ****!

      My ******* oven was not reaching desired temperature. A tech came out and after inspection ordered a new motor fan assembly. A total of $876.51 up front. After part was replaced 4 weeks later, the tech did not check if problem was fixed, even though I asked him to. I was told it was under warranty. I called to let them know it was still not coming up to correct temperature. The same tech came back today and said it needed a new Main Board Sensor Assembly, which would be another $675 + tax. and there was no guarantee as it would still be out by 15 degrees.
      I called customer service to let them know I was not happy, and asked for a partial refund as the tech had misdiagnosed the problem the first time. I was told no, as the part had already been replaced and there was nothing they could do. The so called manager Emkay, hung up on me instead of discussing any further. I was very polite and not in the least aggressive or angry during this time.
      This company should be looked into for their ********** misrepresentation. I ** * ****** *** cannot afford to waste money

      Paid $650 in August for a new washing machine pump. not an authorized part. now pump has falled - in November. this company is a ****. the guy apparently drilled into another part and its now leaking. ***** **** *******. i knew he did not know his stuff, took way longer. seemed to be struggling
      also, only wanted me to use DEBIT card.. i should have **** ** ***** ***** ******* ***** *** not rush to get the repair done.
