      ** *** *** The A Team Appliance Repair.
I had arranged an appointment for The A Team Appliance Repair team to service my dishwasher. They gave me a time window when they would be there. They did not show up. And further, they never called me to tell me they would be late.
They showed up after their time window we had agreed to. We were not available to have them service the equipment given they did not show up during the time we agreed to.
In indicating I no longer want their service given they did not show up when they said they would, I was told I had to pay them a fee. And I never received an invoice from them that I had to pay a fee. Now they are threatening to go to a collection agency against me.
This has now been ongoing for 5 months.

** * ***** **** * * ****** * ****** My fault for not checking reviews. My fridge stopped working Dec 30/24 so I saw same day service on their website so I needed a fridge band called, the tech came that day. I was told $80 service call but was charged $285. He said he could repair it that it needed a new main board cooling system which he had . This cost $491.57 . It took maybe 1 hour. The fridge worked for maybe 2 hours after that so I called back and they couldn’t get back until Friday. Same tech came back opened the rear dusted a bit and was gone in 15 minutes at which point he said I needed a new compressor. I could go with the compressor or get refund for the part. I called their office and was told no refunds on installed parts or labour, read the back of the invoice. A compressor would have cost ?? 1018 with a discount they would give me, not a chance in hell I would do that. So I am out $877 for absolutely nothing. ** *** *** **** *********

      Appliance Repair Team
I strongly advise against using ApplianceRepairTeam.com based on my experience. Initially, they quoted $80 for a callout over the phone. However, when the technician arrived, he refused to even examine the appliance until I paid $363 CAD upfront.
At this point, I should have asked him to leave, but I needed my fridge repaired before Christmas. After finally looking at the freezer, he spent 15 minutes diagnosing and claimed it required two parts, quoting a repair cost of $2000.
I sent him packing because how can you trust a company that misleads you upfront just to get through the door? Proceed with caution, and consider alternative services for appliance repairs.

lst red flag: phone number was answered at a "call centre" 2nd red flag: only take cash or debit.
Repair guy spent 10 minutes LOOKING at front load washing machine to find where water was leaking from and told me I needed a new gasket, cost 429.71 - before tax - needed to order part - would take 2 weeks. Total cost to fix machine $818.92 - I stupidly paid. Called ** ********** ****** *** *** ******** ***** *- cost for new gasket actually 150.00 - NOT 429.11. - could have it delivered next day !! Called ** technician who came to my house that afternoon. He checked gasket - new one not required. Took top off machine and found the problem - hot water feed rusted. Cost of labour plus new part $100.00. No more leaking. After my relentless calls to complain to A Team Appliance Repair they gave me refund of 421.00. The people answering calls are **** and unhelpful. their answers are clearly scripted and they're all "Supervisors". **** ******* ****** ** **** **** * * ***** **** **** * ***** ** ****** ** ** *** ** ******

***** ******* **** **** ***** ****. Paid $250 for a tech to come out and diagnose my washing machine. He told me I needed two rods replaced and my washing machine will work perfectly fine. Paid $1000.50 for two rods to find out after when he came to replace them I needed a new outer drum with bearing which is another $1500 plus tax. I called the office and spoke to the supervisor Mike, which was the ****** person I’ve ever spoke to, and refused to do anything for me. ** *** *** **** ******* **** *** ********

They charged me $600 to replace a water inlet valve for our dishwasher that I later found priced at less that $50. After making the repair they left with the cold water supply tap closed and we were only able to get hot water to the dishwasher.

Seven weeks later and they have not repaired my clothes dryer, have come twice and each time claimed another part was needed.Have now paid more than a new one would cost, and they are claiming the second part would not be available until at least Christmas - 6 weeks away. Have **** every time I called about contacting me with a date to fix it. Insisted on being paid up front for the parts. ***** ********. Only take debit or cash.

      ******* *** *** **** **** **** ******* ****** ***** **** **** ***** ***** I should have done my due diligence because of all the red flags, so shame on me.
      - no caller id from service rep
      - did not open up or start washing machine to diagnose or repair drum problem.
      - could not make out any penmanship on invoice
      - Was charged $316 and nothing was fixed, they did they want to return my money a day later.
Please don’t ever pay these people cash, you’ll never see it!

      * ***** ***** ** ***** ** ***** *** ** ****** ** ** **, This company is a complete ****,
Diagnostic done on front load washer. Repair team advised needed a door lock. Service was $280 and door lock part $336.60. Total was $764.56. Had to pay up front either cash or debit,
Came back to install part (they didn’t even no how to turn off electricity from the braker). Then advised needed door latch and frame assembly for another $438.12). Needless to say, I didn’t pay any more money.
My machine is a ** so I called to see what the door lock cost was - $222.06 including delivery charge. They also advised diagnostic would be $128.71.
