      I received a letter from Veritas indicating that i owe a balance of 427.12$ and they are willing to settle for 149.49 on an *** ******* credit card.
      This balance/account is not on my credit report, and I believe they are trying to collect from me ************.
      They did not provide any details of what the charges were, and do not answer when I call the number on the letter.

      I am rejecting this response because:I not remember having a ******* credit card, however it seems like you are trying to collect ************ as ******* has not been in Canada for more than 7 years.Please provide the details and dates of the charges were incurred on this card, and proof that the debt is valid, and I would be more than happy to review and very accordingly. I also wanted to mention that I have read that Ontario collection laws put a limit on how long creditors have to pursue certain collection actions when you default on your debt payments. In Ontario, creditors only have two years from the date of the last charge, last payment or written acknowledgement of the debt to take legal collection actions.Has the law changed?**** ******

      They call daily and I don't know why. When I call no one answers and I am on the do not call list. I owe no money to anyone.

      This business is harassing me by phone calls, they leave messages sage to my voicemail up to 3 per day! I have no matter of debt of whatever you need to stop calling or I'll fill a complaint to the police against you. Again today I deleted 6 voicemails....

      This company, Veritas Alliance Incorporated has called me many instances. My daughter whom I don't reside with as she lives in a different Town, got a letter from Veritas Alliance Inc. saying I owe them money from an old ** **** account from 2006 (16 years ago!). I have never had an account with ** **** nor was I ever contacted by ** **** before. Further, my name on this letter was not even correct. Firstly, my first name was spelled incorrectly and this letter had a middle name initial "K" which is not even my middle name initial. I contacted ** **** Agency (their collection department) and they confirm I have never had an account with them. I even physically walked into a ** **** branch and they too confirmed the same thing. The ** **** manager tried to call Veritas Alliance Inc. to clear the situation up but they never picked up. Veritas Alliance did a soft credit check without my consent or knowledge and "I DO NOT" owe or have any outstanding debt with any company or person on my credit record. Veritas Alliance Inc. failed to provide additional evidence to substantiate this claim against me. Any correspondence thus far has always been that of Veritas Alliance Inc. claim without hard evidence or references that I can validate. I'm not sure how this company performs their due diligence or have any data integrity but they have the "WRONG" person.

      I received a 'settlement offer' letter from Veritas Alliance Incorporated dated November 15, 2022 stating that I owed ***** ********* over $3000.00 and Veritas would settle this debt for $762.90 if I paid in full by November 28, 2022. As I have never had an account with *****, I phoned Veritas to try to figure out what this was about. The woman on the phone wouldn't give me any information about the supposed debt, but knew information about me that wasn't public knowledge. She told me it would go on my credit and hung up on me when I stated I wouldn't pay a debt I don't owe. They have phoned my spouse multiple times a day looking for me and only tried calling my number after I contacted them. * **** **** **** ****** ** **** ** **** **  I checked my credit report on ******* to find that Veritas accessed my information on October 13, 2022. I don't want anyone falling for this **** and paying debts they don't owe.

      veritas alliance has claimed they picked up an old debt of mine yet when i check my ******* & ********** reports, i have nothing owing, & have never had business with this ******* "company". they call numerous times a day, but as soon as i try to answer, they hang up. IF they leave a voicemail, big if bc they dont always, its an automated asian woman speaking in an asian dialect that i dont understand. *** *** **** ******* ******** ** ***** ********** * ***** ***** ***********. i do not nor have i ever dealt with veritas alliance, & all my old debts have been cleared as of atleast 10 years ago so not sure where their getting i owe them anything. the calls need to stop & that doesnt mean to start harrassing me by mail either. otherwise, i will look into further legal advice should this continue.

      I have received a letter from this company dated November 15, 2022 advising that I owe **** ********* $7,848.36 but demanding settlement at $2,354.51. They reference an account #3541653. They also mention a client called *** ***** ****** Inc. 246470.
      I have never borrowed any money from **** *********, or ever initiated any account with them for financing. ***** ******** **** **** ************* *** * *** **** ***** **** ** **** **** *** ********** ** **** ****** *** ** ******  I would request that this company refrain from any further contact with me.       Veritas alliance continue to ****** me, they continue to call my cell leaving automatic voicemails saying to call them!
      They call me 2-3 times a day!
      I need this to stop!
      Continuing to delete voicemails is annoying and just tired of it. So tired of it all.

      This company contacted my employer with an automated message and I want that to stop immediately. I do not owe any collection agencies any money and I watch my credit very closely. Whatever nonsense this company is up to needs to end ASAP.

      Veritas Alliance is claiming that monies are owed to ******** **** *******, for a water heater rental in a home that was sold in 2009. The Purchase and Sale Agreement was forwarded to ******** and indicates that the rental is to be assumed by the new home buyer. It was signed by the new owner as such.

      Veritas Alliance has threatened to take the matter to court, which is outside of the 2 years allowed by the province of Ontario and the 6 years by the federal government.

      They have damaged my credit rating by not doing a thorough investigation to the legitimacy of ********" claim.

      The letters and phone calls are becoming excessive and unwarranted.

      I would appreciate a correction to the damage incurred to my credit rating.

      The level of unprofessionalism displayed by Veritas Alliance is unreal.
