Hello,
I get three or four call a day from Veritas, and I tried contacting them but was unable to speak to anyoe who was able to help me.
I have no business with Veritas, and I cannot understand why they keep phoning.

Veritas Alliance sent me a letter regarding a lump sum settlement for credit debt from 2007, which was already paid and closed.
They demand money within a few days of you receiving the letter, no information on the debt in question and terribly **** and *********** towards my credit history.
The institute in question (**) has no record of my debt nor any interaction with Veritas.
Veritas refuses to answer questions and trains their agents to be ****, disrespectful and crass.Business Response

Veritas is constantly calling regarding a debt I do not owe. Today I received a letter stating that if I do not pay by November 28 they will take court action.
I have lived at the same address and have wireless service only with **** Mobility since October 2009 (11+ years). I would like this matter to be cleared and calls to end.
My account with **** is in good standing as is my credit card and my one small loan.

Veritas has been calling for a ***** ***** who is a distant cousin of ours which we have not seen or spoken with for over 40 years he has never lived here and we have no idea where he is ….Veritas calls EVERYDAY morning, noon and night this has been going on for several months…Veritas has OUR HOME PHONE NUMBER which we have had for over 45 years and we want them to STOP CALLING ASAP.
I have wasted hours trying to call Veritas many times with no success at
1-877-******** and ************ and 1-800-******** and I have also tried to answer their calls but they are always automated…and ask “if this is ***** ***** press 1…and if this is not press 2 …and therefore when I press 2 the line gets disconnected…PLEASE HELP THIS TO STOP.

I receive phone calls from Veristas almost daily. Some are talking about an offer that's about to expire (I've never dealt with them before) and others as they are looking for a person who isn't attached to my phone number (which I've had for 20+ years). I would this to stop. It's getting very frustrating. I don't know who they are, how they got my phone number, or why they are calling.Business Response

This company has completed a credit check against me for an unknown reason and when I have called or emailed for an explanation they have been rude, asked for additional personal information and when I call they will only put on hold. I believe this is a scam or phishing attempt because I have no reason for them to contact or check my credit. I have attached the emails I received from them and the contact numbers don’t seem to match their website either. But this company did check my credit score very recentlyBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:This debt issue has been settled many years ago and I do not know how/why they have this information now. I settled this issue over 10 years ago, the problem was an administrative error from **** that they were unable to settle from their system because they "sold the debt" to a creditor, It was my understanding that their 3rd party debt collector had settled this issue with **** and I have not heard about this in over 10 years... I do not know why this company has checked my credit or is harassing me regarding this.

I am recieving emails from a ******* ***** stating I owe money.
He told me there is a credit card in my name issued in Quebec.
I explained I never lived in Quebec.
He stated it was taken out in 2015.
In 2015 I worked in Nova Scotia for ********** ******* as well as the ***** ** *******.

I received a letter from a legal firm, representing this company, claiming money owed to **** ******.
I contacted **** ******, and provided there legal department a copy of the letter. A **** represented from there legal department, after extensive record search, call me back a few days later, indicated it appears to be fraud, and that no such debt was every owed by me. I contacted Veritas to provide the contact / case information from ****, and they would not listen, and just disconnected me. Clearly not a legitimate company, nor debt.
In addition, I live in QC, so I believe this company has shouldn't even be operating here?Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
**** ****** Canada did a full record search, and even moved the matter to there legal department.The record search was based on my SIN # and included the vehicle in question. As per there and our records, said vehicle was a lease, was paid in full and returned early, under kilometers and without damage. It was returned early because we purchased another vehicle.
I ask they withdraw the claim, or move it to court. Better yet, they could just contact **** !

I have been getting calls from Veritas Alliance regarding collections, I repeatedly told them I am not the person they are looking for, but they have an automated machine calling and leaving messages every day.
