I selected Greensaver Ontario as the contractor to carry out my energy assessment which was required as a component of the ****** ******* ***** Grant. Then reached out to me, we arranged an appointment time, and I paid them a fee of $452.00 dollars.
They rescheduled my appointment once, then cancelled the appointment the day before. This was 2 months ago, since then they have not answered any of my correspondence and their phone number no longer work.
Thanks kindly for your assistance in resolving this matter (either completing the energy assessment within a reasonable time or refund.).

I previously registered for ****** ******* **** ***** and picked Greensaver as my selected service organization. Several months later in October, I received a phone call from Greensaver and I was told that I can start completing a pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation with them. So I booked my appointment with them and paid $399 plus tax over the phone by using my credit card. I got home and told my husband about it. He didn't agree to do this. So I called Greensaver the next week 3 days ahead of my scheduled appointment date, and I was told by the agent on the phone that they would start processing my refund. In November, I checked my credit card statement and I didn't see the refund. So I called them several times and they never picked up the calls and I left them a voicemail each time but I never heard back from them. I tried calling their number (*********** )now, and it said this number has been disconnected. Then I went on their company's website and found an email address of the company [email protected]. I tried sending an email to them but the email got bounced back. To this date, I still haven’t received my refund. Please help me get my money back.

I was looking to have my basement insulated for the winter and the contractor I contacted referred me to the Greensaver greener homes initiative with the incentive of having the cost of the work re-imbursed upon completion.
I contacted Greensaver who was helpful in getting my file started and informing me of how the process would work. I would have to schedule a pre-inspection appointment with their inspector who would then approve the work being required. This pre-inspection came with a fee of $425.00. Not a small fee for us and the inspection was scheduled for October 26th, 2022 at 10am.
On October 25th at roughly 330pm I received an e-mail notifying me of the cancelation of next mornings appointment and was assured someone from Greensaver would reach out within the week to reschedule.
I immediately replied via e-mail and never got a response. After a week had passed I attempted to call greensaver but was met with a busy dial tone. The following day I managed to get the answering message and left a message repeating my situation and desire to reschedule. After another week had passed I did the same thing again.
It is now almost 2 months on and I still have not heard a word from Greensaver. They took my $425 and disappeared. I would at the very least like a refund as not only did I not receive the service I have paid for they have not even got back to me once seeking a resolution.Initial Complaint

contracted greensaver to conduct an attic insulation audit to qualify for the nr canada energy conservation grant. I booked and paid for a home assessment with Greensaver with a clear understanding that my home was in Ottawa and that Greensaver could provide the service. The assessment was booked for early October 2022, Two days before the assessment I received a call that the assessment had to be rescheduled.. I have repeatedly called Greensaver.. My wife and I applied to the ****** ******* ***** Grant Program in order to seek a grant of up to $5000 for home improvements which would make our home more energy efficient. The process involves having pre- and post- evaluations of our home done to determine energy efficiency of the building before and after the improvements are done. Payment from the federal program is then made according to the degree of improvement in energy efficiency achieved between the two evaluations. The evaluations must be done not by the federal program itself, but by an independent company listed as carrying out these evaluations, and chosen by the homeowner.
We chose a company called "Greensaver", located at 74 Six Point Road in Toronto M8Z2X2. (Phone: ###-###-####, toll-free ###-###-####, website: ******************) I arranged a home pre-evaluation with the company on Sept. 28, 2022 to take place on Nov. 22, 2022 at 10 AM, and for this I paid $452.00 online when I arranged the appointment. (The payment went through on our **** account on Oct. 3, 2022.)
The company did not show up at our home at the appointed time, nor did anyone from the company contact me before or after the appointment time. I have since attempted to contact the company both by email and by phone. Email messages have not gone through, and phone calls to the toll-free number get only a recording stating that the number is currently "down due to IT maintenance". Phone calls to the 1-416 number got only a busy signal on multiple attempts on two subsequent days.
Originally I wanted only to contact the company to rearrange the appointment and get an explanation from them of the reason for the no-show. ******** ***** ************ *********** ********* **** ******* ** **** ** *** *** ******** I would simply like to cancel the pre-evaluation and get a full refund of my $452.00.

I had my attic insulated in August of this year by Greensaver under the ******** winterization program.
In November when it starts getting cold I notice draft coming in the attic so I got a contractor to assessed the situation and was advised that the entire left hand side of the attic wasn’t insulated. It had no insulation.
I’ve been trying to get Greensaver to come back to address the issue because I don’t want any mold to take over my attic and hasn’t been getting any response

On September 29th, 2022, I was charged $452 CAD for the purchase of a greener homes pre-assessment. Greensaver connected me with a local home energy auditor in my community, and set up an appt for them to conduct the pre-assessment. I have been trying to cancel my appointment for over a week.
