    Unfortunately this company was lacking in the communication dept. I submitted my original invoice for the appliance that broke, and they said they could apply the warranty. A service call was made, (after some great confusion with automated emails, missed emails, and lack of prompt communication ), and then I get a call saying it was all a mistake, and no, my appliance was “not a major appliance” so it doesn’t qualify for warranty. As much as I understand mistakes, this company was a case of chronic poor communication, and I was left frustrated.

    I have a five-year extended warranty that I purchased from Zucora on my leather furniture From **** home furnishing. I filed a claim in mid May and this is how they responded to my claim.
    Thank you for contacting us. After reviewing your request, we are advising you that the service plan you purchased from ****'s only covers the cracking/peeling on the faux/vinyl areas for the first 2 years of your plan.
    We have attached a copy of the service plan which includes the terms and conditions relating to your particular request.
    Please refer to Section 2.1 DURABILITY COVERAGE – We will provide the Plan Services as set out in Section 6.0 below for a period of two (2) years from date of delivery for Covered Product that consist of fabric, faux leather, bonded leather or vinyl, in the event of the following conditions:
    (A) Cracking and peeling of material.
    I purchased the high grain leather extended warranty for five years and typical insurance company. They’re not covering my damage after two years.

    Have been trying to have my insurance claim dealt with for over four months. At the last “chat” they told me they couldn’t upload the photos I had sent them because they changed software.
    Suddenly while having this conversation the guy was able to magically open the photos and view them. He proceeds to tell me this will be attended to shortly only to never respond again. **** *** *** *** * ********** **** *** **** ***** *** ** **** ***** ** ** **** *****?!

    ** ******** it was easy to schedule, they emailed me the person who was coming days before. We could track the truck to see when in our 4 hours they’d be here. The staff who attended was friendly and knowledgeable. Referred by *****s and now our furniture is protected.

    Their water proofing coat didn't work as expected. What is the point of spending on an non existent proofing?

    When I have tried to call them in the phone, I waited approximately one hour on hold each time. They simply did not respond at all to my email. They told me they would not cover 3 of the 4 stains that I reported (they won’t cover fingerprint stains, won’t cover an unknown stain, one stain was reported too late…) and for the other they just sent a cleaning product. Certainly not worth the price of the warranty. They should invest in better customer service.

    April 21 2023 through June 26, 2023 (10 weeks waiting). I received one phone call and one email response to my claim. In the email they denied the damage was covered by the warranty. Contacted ****** *** and they confirmed the damage is listed in the warranty brochure. June 26 received an email stating the damage is not repairable. Judgement made by them viewing a photograph of the damage. No one came into my home and viewed it to.make a decision. During the phone call Zucora Rep said they would make an inquiry to replace the fabric. Which they did not bother to make the inquiry. In.stead of repairing the damage and my keeping the furniture that I have they wrote my furniture off. A credit to use at the ****** *** store has been issued. To use this credit, I must use it within 30 DAYS. The credit does not cover taxes or delivery charges. If the same furniture model is still available I must pay, out of pocket, any increase in the cost of the items. I have checked and the items are not available. ****** *** does not carry the selection of Condo sized furniture that they did when I purchased the sofa/chair. None of these additional charges are outlined in the warranty plan that Zucaro is supposed to honor in the name of ****** ***. A re-selection is mentioned but none of the details or costs disclosed. They made me wait 10 weeks JUST TO make a decision from a photograph. And now I have only 30 days!! to use a credit that is useless to me.The additional cost and oversize furniture that ****** *** carries no longer fits into my home.I should have the right to hire a contractor in MY city and province who can perform the repair. Being forced to go into ****** *** and spend at least $2,000 on furniture that does not fit does not fulfill the warranty that was sold to me. The warranty is misleading as a purchaser is given the expectation that any damage will be covered. I chose this fabric due to the promises made in the warranty. Totally misleading

    This is a terrible company to deal with they are happy to take your money but when you need warranty good luck
    We had a mishap and now there is a hole in the material. We called , sent I. A warranty claim they reuse to cover it as it has ware on the material. In brochure they state they will cover for 7 years and not to worry you are covered but the end result is no warranty. Apparently you can buy their coverage then put furniture in storage so if something happens they will cover it. Normal ware and tare on their end means it’s an easy way out to say sorry we can see your frustration but we have your money and won’t cover this. Tell your friends not to buy this coverage as they won’t do goodwill or anything to help you out
