We placed a full kitchen order and paid in full at the Markum location in April 2024 for an August delivery, new construction. On delivery day four months later, no stove arrives on the truck with the rest of our appliances. After calling them for two days, we find out it is not coming for another MONTH and they will do nothing about that - and we had to chase them down for this information. No one from CAS gave us any notice that there would be no stove, and we now have no way to cook for our family. We were told by our sales agent to call CAS customer service, who was incredibly rude and offered no way to resolve the issue for the next month - or even apologize for the lack of communication. Had we been told in advance that no stove was coming we could have made alternate plans for the delay, or chosen a similar model that was in stock - they didn’t even bother to tell us, let alone actually fix the issu** * ****** ********** *** ********* **** *** ********* ****** *** *** *** *** ***** ** ****** ** ** ***** ** ********* ** ***** ***** ***** ******

      We spent $7,000 on all new appliances , fridge, stove, washer, dryer, freezer and microwave range hood. The delivery person was not happy that our superintendent had forgotten to put the elevator on service. He insisted i call the superintendent several times. The **** man *** ** ******** *** finally answered. He apologized that he had forgotten but suggested that the pads were in the elevator and for me to hold the elevator for them. I did so. Holding the door open while they loaded and unloaded and then went back for another load. When we found a scratch on the fridge the delivery person was reluctant to take it back. The old fridge was already in the truck. The delivery person made calls to his company complaining that we were ****. My son and the other delivery person brought the old fridge back up to the condo. The delivery person refused to return the old fridge to the condo and refused to give us any paperwork. ** *** ***** ** **** ****** ** *** ***** *** *** ******** *** ****** **** The microwave range hood would not fit. The store refused to refund us. They were unconcerned about the delivery. We have cancelled the order and are still fighting to return the unboxed microwave. Apparently exhaust fans are final sale. **** ** *** ***** **** **** **** ******** They hire unreliable 3rd party delivery service and ************ deny important information regarding returns.

      We can see different statements regarding your delivery experience. Nevertheless, due to the inconvenience, caused, we offered you $66.77 as compensation.


      However a refund of the refrigerator and freezer was requested. We can see that the order for both these appliances were canceled and refunded on August 20th of 2024.


      We are sorry to learn that your ********** Over-The-Range Microwave did not fit. As per our return request, ventilation sales are considered final sales. This policy is posted on our website as well as on the invoice you received.


      As per our records we can see that your request to return the Over-The-Range Microwave has been approved with a 25% restocking fee on August 28th of 2024.

      I had horrible experience. ***** *** *** ********** **** ***** there is no full refund even when it's their fault. I bought all my appliances and was sold wrong fridge . I wanted flushed in and sold it saying it is flushed in when it got delivered I found it's not fully flushed in after various emails and trips to the store they said there is nothing they can do. They told me if I want return my fridge and get correct one I have to pay 25% restocking fee along with delivery charges. I paid over $11000 to have flushed in fridge. Horrible customer service experience. ***** *** ********** **** *** ******** ** **** **** **** **** ***** **** *** **** *** ** **** **** *** ********* **** ***** ***********  There is no one to call or talk to you you can only email and no matter whether it's sales person fault or their other departments fault customer get penalized.

      We can see that the refrigerator was delivered on June 20th of 2024.The specifications of the refrigerator indicate that the fridge only will be flush with the cabinet once it has been installed, however the panels will stick out once installed on to the refrigerator.


      CAS usually does not take back appliances which have been plugged in as per our Return Policy. However we can see that your request to exchange the refrigerator has been approved on August 20th of 2024.


      Our After-Sales Team have reached out to you to obtain the model number for exchange.

      The aftersales department approved exchange with 25% restocking fee plus delivery cost without my fault. I am not professional to know that how this fridge will fit. I told the sales person that I want fridge that is hidden in cabinet that no-one can tell its fridge. He showed us the pictures of kitchen aid panel ready fridge model which we bought. The fridge in pictures shows fully fleshed in with panels. I am amazed how this whole things is been put on me. My biggest mistake was buying appliances from *** ******** company who refuse to take ownership for the screw up of their one department and trying to ****** client with fees to obtained something which was clearly explained to sales person on very first visit to store. This solution do not work for me. I paid $11000 on panel ready fridge non panel fridge are in way cheaper. the non panel ready fridge i could have gotten in cost which i have been told to pay in as restocking fee.

      **** ***** **** ***** ***** ********** as long as you’ve paid them then you’re ghosted then you have to deal with manufacturer who is in the Philippines. I’ve had my refrigerator less than a week and have dealt with this every day ****** ** ********** *** *** * **** ******* I simply want someone to come and give me service and why my fridge is making noise. I do not have the capability to take photos or record the sound of refrigerator is making.       A recently purchased freezer from cas has not been working since the delivery. Cas would not do anything since *********** refused to fix because it has been used in restaurant. Who would know that *********** doesn't offer warranty for restaurant use.

      As such, we have no way of knowing if an appliance is defective. This is why all our products come equipped with a minimum of one year’s manufacturer’s warranty, to ensure that they are able to stand in and address.


      Unfortunately, in this case the issues are not covered under warranty as the appliance is intended to be used in a residential setting.

      Absolutely NO after sale support. We purchased a washer, dryer, and a styler. The washer and styler have not been working since they have been delivered. The sales person's response " I do not get involved after the sale" - We paid for installation as well, however, we cannot get anyone from the store to assist to complete the installation - two weeks on!

      I bought a dishwasher for almost $700 and had it delivered by their company. When my contractor put the dishwasher in the cabinet space, he found the dishwashers' door hinges went up and out when you open the door, therefore preventing the door from opening when its in the cabinet space. The dishwasher was never installed.
      We called the sales rep who gave me warranty contact information. I called them, the tech came out and found that in fact the dishwasher is bigger than the Frigidaire specifications when the door opens, preventing it from functioning.
      I called the warranty company over the next two weeks, they kept saying the technician never wrote his report and now it has been too long to warranty.
      I called they sales rep back who gave me his other warranty company contact, who says its not warrantied because its registered under **********. ??? I never registered anything, it is a ********** dishwasher. All i did is received a dishwasher that didnt fit.
      *** *** * ******* *** **** **** ****** ******** ** *********  The dishwasher is not damaged, still has the protective coating on it, never installed and the delivery company left the box it came in stating if anything was wrong with the dishwasher, we should keep the box. We have jumped through all the hoops, i have tried speaking with management and they do not return my calls or emails.

      We regret to learn that the ********** dishwasher did not fit as per your space requirements.


      The dishwasher was delivered on July 16th and the matter was reported to us on August 06th which is past our 7 days return policy.


      As per our return policy, factory-sealed products can be returned at no penalty within 7 days of receipt, or up to 30 days of receipt with a restocking fee applied.


      We can see that a ********** technician came to inspect the dishwasher. Technicians are dispatched for warranty purposes which include repair.


      Our records show that your request to return the dishwasher has been approved.The restocking fees have been waived as a gesture of goodwill. An email was sent to you on August 27th of 2024.

      That is completely false and i have the email thread to prove it. We contacted July 21.
      Furthermore I have received an email dated Aug 30 stating i have 5 days to return this dishwasher or the return is void. The store to drop the dishwasher off is closed until Tuesday Sept 3 and we are away until the September 8th. without sufficient notice we would not be able to return the dishwasher until your store hours open on the Sept 10th. I called your "customer care line" and was told they don't care, if its not returned within 5 days you will not take the dishwasher back. We have been trying to return this dishwasher for over a month! And suddenly there is a deadline? I think it is unreasonable to demand the sudden return and not working with the customer. **** ** ******* *** *** ** ******** *******

      ************ Poor Service - ***** ** *** ***** I had the misfortune of dealing with Canadian Appliance Source, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. I received a fridge that was dead on arrival (DOA), and instead of offering any form of compensation or a swift replacement, they are making me return the old one myself. The customer service was ********** unhelpful and dismissive throughout the entire process and the after sales team referred to me email ONLY. They failed to address my concerns in a timely manner and showed zero empathy for the inconvenience caused. * ***** ******** ****** ******* ***** ***** ********* ***** *** **** ***** ********* *** ***** **** ******** ***** ***** ********* *** **** *** ** ****** ****** ********. I am still waiting to hear back from them and have been without a fridge for 6 days.

      We can see that our After-Sales Team reached out to the manufacturer ******* to request an return authorization for the fridge as per their DOA policy. (Dead-On-Arrival)


      The authorization was received on August 12th and our After-Sales Team contacted you on the same day. Unfortunately, the replacement model was not available and a refund was requested instead.


      In order to process a refund, the approved appliance needs to be returned back to our warehouse.


      We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this. We can see that the appliance has been returned and your refund was processed on August 16th of 2024.

      Shortly after having my appliances delivered. I noticed a few deficiencies as well as Hi needed refrigerator Door reversed. They sent me on a wild goose chase for something that seems so simple. They said that if they reverse the door, then it would no longer be under warranty. I was going to have to contact LG in order to get them to reverse the door. I called them and they said that CAS should have the door reversed it. I’m still stuck in limbo with this issue. I had a dishwasher that was unopened, waiting for the countertop to be installed. Once I opened it, I noticed the scratch and they have told me that I am seven days past the delivery. Which I only had this delivered last week. Nothing but excuses and policies Rather than take accountability.

      Door reversals are a service that CAS offers for most refrigerators that we sell. Unfortunately, the model you purchased required a certified ** technician to complete the door reversal. As such you were advised to contact **.

      We are sorry to learn about the scratch in your ******* range (cooktop). We can see that the appliances were delivered on July 16th of 2024. However the issue was reported to us on August 10th.


      As per our return policy, customers are required to report any issues with an appliance including damages, within 48 hours of delivery.

      We purchased new appliances and had them delivered August 7. The delivery guys were aggressive, they placed and plugged in my range and my fridge and had me sign the papers before even removing the plastic from the appliances. As I was removing the plastic I told the delivery guys you are asking from me to sign and rushing to leave as you are busy but failing to allow me to inspect the products. I had the dishwasher still sitting in the box and his smart answer is you look at the box and you see no damage, tried explaining that I need to inspect everything he brushed me off and said all good, he said if there is a problem to contact canadian appliance source. We did so and all we were told were to take pictures and submit a claim online for the fridge that had a small gap between the stainless steel and the frame, the next day it was denied. We escalated this as it was denied because the fridge was plugged in (their delivery guys plugged the fridge) and they are refusing to replace the fridge and the slap over the face is the offer of 10% back. On top of the fridge there is hairline gap between the stainless and the frame of the door. **** ** *** **** ** ***** ******** ** **** * ******** *********

      Please note that our team will always unbox larger appliances at the time of delivery, as part of our white glove service for easy maneuvering. Any interior packaging will be left on the appliance.


      As per the return request submitted it was indicated that the fridge has been used which is the reason why your request to exchange the fridge was declined.


      We can see that our After-Sales Team reached out to you to discuss your concerns. A monetary compensation of $200.00 CAD was accepted to keep the unit as-is on August 09th of 2024.
