**** ******* ** *** ******* ****** ****** I ordered a washer/dryer unit from them. It didn't work properly. I denounced the problem within 48 hours, which is the time frame during which they will accept returns/ exchanges for any reason. They told me to call the company (**) because I was under warranty. Then they said they would schedule a service call. Then they said to fill out the form for the return/ exchange so that I could have a new machine delivered that was functional. I was supposed to receive a response within 48 hours. Did not receive anything. Called to find out what was going on. They told me they had sent it to another address. I asked them to change the address on file so that I could receive it. They couldn't do that because. For what reason? Policy. I had to call my salesperson to have them change the email address. They resent the email, and the response was the same- call **. I called **. They said it's an installation issue. I called back CAS. They created a service call. The guys came to try to fix the problem, and couldn't. But they did, in the process, shred the dryer vent tube. I called CAS to have them send someone fix the problem. They can't do this. They need an email and photos detailing the complaint so they can send it to the installation team, who can make a decision about whether or not this is actually their fault, and maybe in the next couple of days I might hear they are willing to fix it. So, to recap, over 3000$ out of my pocket, into CAS. No functional washing machine. No functional dryer. ** *** *** **** ***** ***** It is not worth saving $50 for the WORST customer service.
I have made 3 purchases over the past 5 months. The sent a fridge that was damaged and then tried to charge us for shipping the replacement. The sold us a floor model gas range that was missing the gas connection (we had to buy from ***** for $300) and then they shipped us a washer that was DOA and its been 2 weeks and we still do not have resolution. I purchased a washer and dryer from *** in the summer of 2022. Before Christmas the washer was no longer working so I applied to get it repaired on the manufactures warranty. It is now the end of February and even though I have been calling on a daily basis I am unable to get the repairs done on my washing machine. I have been nothing more than polite to them over all this time and today I am beginning to lose my patience a little only to discover that the Customer service clerk who was speaking to me decided that it was time to start laughing at me. We would like to wholeheartedly apologize for the sale experience you may have had.
We regret to hear that your appliance has a functional issue. Please understand that CAS is an authorized retailer, and we receive all of the appliances we sell directly from the manufacturer in their original packaging. The packaging is not removed until the appliance is presented to our customers. Therefore, CAS does not perform Quality Control testing on any of the appliances we sell. This is done by the manufacturer during the production process. As such, there are times that an appliance may experience functional issues shortly after purchase and as it is a functional issue, it falls under the manufacturer's warranty. In cases like this, the manufacturer provides CAS with very specific guidelines on how to proceed. This will almost always include having the manufacturer send out a technician to assess the appliance. The technician's report is provided to the manufacturer who then determines whether or not they feel as though the appliance can be repaired or would need to be replaced.
As per our records, the manufacturer had added the issues with your unit and the issue has been resolved.

We spent $15000.00 on new appliances for our entire house. 2 years to get all appliances in stock as they kept giving them away to other customers...We finally got delivery the end of December 2022. we got our kitchen installed and started installing the appliances only to find out the Trim kit for the microwave was delivered in regular stainless not Black Stainless. the label says black stainless and 2 employees told me that the part was mislabeled from *******...they will not take the part back or exchange for the correct one we ordered and it is impossible to get a hold of any employee on the phone. everything is via email and takes a week to get a reply..Canadian Appliance Source

Nobody reached out, I have multiple emails with no response multiple messages left with no response..it’s disgusting that you can run a business like this..there was no issue when we paid you 15000 dollars..I have an email where Scott R. admitted it was the companies fault and I still get screwed over! Horrible company to deal with, from customer service to delivery team. I ordered a washer dryer combo, 1st time they come they forgot the stacking kit, 2nd time they come they said the washer and dryer is too big, which it was not as i matched the measurements, 3rd time they come they install the replacement and scratch an entire wall. Then charge me a 25% re-stocking fee or their mistakes.Canadian Appliance Source

In regards to the restocking charge, please note that the specifications of the appliance were provided to you at the time of purchase.
It is the consumer's responsibility to ensure that the specifications meet your personal requirements.
Given that the appliances were returned to our warehouse with no packaging and would have needed to be sold as floor models, a restocking fee was applied.

I bought dishwasher Dec 22, 2022, a month later it doesn't work. I complain and they said it's not their problem what a bad customer service.

My Extended Warranty appears to be a fraud. Now in month three without a stove and the lower level CAS customer support staff (who are friendly and professional) seem completely unwilling to involve their superiors in getting action from The ** ********. I have given up calling **, because “expedite” means something completely different to them than my understanding. Unlike CAS, they NEVER call back as promised - even after a conference call with CAS and me.
Sad - CAS and Scott R. would have received five stars. This warranty debacle and fear of escalation make me question sending friends to CAS.

we bought 4 major appliances through CAS- Woodbridge and also bought extended warranty. They said that warranty claims are honored by ** *********. Have a major issue with our wall oven, file a claim in May 2022, was diverted to ******* **********. they said part was not available and would need to wait. sent 8 emails as a follow up no resolution till date. *** ******** ** *****. CAS simply throw their hands up stating not their responsibility
Truly ********* business practice but unfortunately allowed to run their operations so more and more people can get sucked into paying for warranty.

The worst service possible from the Halifax Nova Scotia location! *** ***** ********* **** ******** Ordered a fridge for pick up. Once it came in, we was not able to pick up because the employees dropped 2 appliances while loading and smashed them. Now they will not load anything on costumer’s vehicles from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia because they are not equipped to handle appliance’s properly.
