We regret to learn that your experience has been less than adequate.
However, our records that the microwave had been in your possession for 5 months with the packaging open.
As such, this appliance would not be eligible for return as it does not meet our criteria.
CAS agreed to take the appliance back as a gesture of goodwill, with an applicable restocking charge as the appliance would now be sold as an open-box.
We can appreciate that you do not agree with our policies, but these are in line with the major appliance industry and, as such, we are unable to change our decision.

Worst service I've ever experienced.
No follow up.
No honesty.
I went to the Hamilton showroom to buy a set of washer and dryer and the guy there recommended 2 high quality ones for almost 3200$ and I requested a 3 months payment method as he suggested. He created a ******* acount for me and he said that everything will be alright and he promised to deliver them on the next saturday. However, I didn't recieve any call all the week. I called them on Saturday to follow up, they said that there's no scheduled delivery. After many tries to get in touch with any responsible employee, I got in touch with one of them that lately was helpful in canceling the order and apply for a refund that will take up to more than a month.
I have no idea why is all that. I was trying to be patient as much as I could but they don't even care.

I had bought a 2 door ******* stainless steel fridge from this store with a freezer drawer. 2 months back the fridge stopped working. My husband informed this store. They gave a number to call. The person whom we spoke to, told us to switch off the fridge as they had to order a part. It's been more than 2 months now and they still have not resolved the issue neither have they got the part. My husband has been contacting this store staff several times, but of no use. How are we supposed to go on like this without a fridge in the house for past 2 months?They don't care about the customer once they have sold the appliance. What would they have done in this situation? Till today they have not even sent a technician to check my fridge. How can they know what part to order without their technician checking my fridge? This is what their customer service is. Total nonsense.

5 starsWe were looked after by Naved in the Markham location. We found him to be knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We needed a fridge right away so he made sure that the units we considered were available from stock. His pricing was fair and competitive with other places we had looked. Delivery was arranged for next day and the truck arrived before noon. The delivery crew was courteous and did their job well.
This was the second time we dealt with this company and on both occasions we were very satisfied with our experience.Review fromGerald M

What a terrible experience!
We tried to change our order before it was shipped and they wanted us to pay approx $600.00 in restocking and shipping even though it was never shipped. It was an in stock item.
They simply hung up on us several times as we tried to get the order cancelled.
They told us twice that the transaction was taken care ** ***** *** * ******* ***. Nothing was done. It took several hours on the phone to get this cancelled and they wouldn't order the set we wanted. They said it was a special order and they couldn't get it in. Even thoiugh it's still on their website.

4 starsSo far , so good . I would have awarded 5 stars if their website was valid. The website indicates that a 3 year extended warranty is free with the purchase is the ****** washer . However Scott did not honour the free 3 year extended warranty. In stead I was given a 2 year extended warranty for $99 . I am sorry I didn’t push this further but at my age 87 , I didn’t need a hassle.Review fromEli H

Salesman was good and the washer only took 2 days to be brought to the store. when I was unpacking the washer I noticed the top panel was lose. I removed the packaging tape and the panel slid right off, problem one. I then was removing the packing bolts on the back of the washer and found when they put those in the power cable was crushed and I didn't feel safe using it. Not to mention when I pay what I did for the washer I expect it to be in brand new condition.Canadian Appliance Source

Please understand that CAS receives all products factory-sealed from the manufacturer and those would only be unboxed after delivery/ pick up.
As such, it is impossible for us to know if an appliance is damaged/ defective.

I have read some of the reviews and I agree with some of them but not all. I purchased my fridge in Oakville from Elizabeth K. I shopped around but came back to Canadian Appliance because of the help she gave me. Up front I was told I was responsible for disconnecting the water and hydro from my old fridge and that it would not be handled by delivery people. Luckily one of my son-in-laws handled that for me. The delivery men went above and beyond getting my fridge in the house helped by another son-in-law getting a gate door removed. The delivery people did a good job and do not have anything I could complain about. Where I agree with some of the other reviews is getting help from anyone else in the store if your sales person is not available. The answers I needed were not available and I was ****** told to read the manual. I drove back to the store and one of the sales people answered my one question and was very nice but trying on the phone is impossible. I am hoping that if I need any more help that Elizabeth is available and I do not have to drive to store. At 84 I am tired of dealing with **** salespeople when I am purchasing one of their products. 5 starsKim was a fantastic sales rep. I needed a 30 inch, pop out range hood that was in stock and available for pick up ASAP as the previous one I ordered was not going to be in in time. Kim found me two options in a matter of minutes and I was able to pick up the range hood the next day.

Company took no responsibility for a damaged unrepairable refrigerator that was never plugged in. This was contrary to what I was told. They pushed me over to ********* who also gave me the run around. In total it took about 4 weeks, over 20 phone calls, multiple emails and 3 service calls before ********* finally agreed to replace the damaged fridge. Persistence was required. A good retailer would have replaced the damaged appliance reported the day of delivery after inspection. Will not use Canadian Appliance Source again. Why the good will generated through the research, inquiry, sales and delivery phases was so easily discarded post-delivery reveals customer indifference.Canadian Appliance Source

However, please note that in your exchange request submitted on July 18th, you clearly stated, "Lower back panel bent. Only obvious with packaging removed. A satisfactory solution would be to just replace this panel."
A service call was scheduled at your request as your appliance qualified for the cosmetic warranty.
Kindly understand that once you have received service from the manufacturer for your appliance, CAS is unable to intervene in regards to the manufacturer's decision as it will completely depend on the technician's report.
