      I bought all home appliances from them and the waterline for my fridge was not connected by the installers. I wrote many emails/calls and they were not responding on time after 2 weeks they are saying it is too late to send the installers. Also, there was a dent in my fridge, and called customer service and assured them that the price would be reduced for the defect. In Canada all the prices are plus the HST and these guys didn't admit that and they are saying it is with tax. I didn't see any price here including the taxes. Be careful dealing with these guys ** ****** ****** *** ****** *******

To make matters worse, when we reached out to CAS for help, they not only refused to replace the defective washer but even turned down our offer to pay for a different model. After years of being a loyal customer, I am deeply disheartened by how they’ve treated us.       We called CAS to find a replacement for our 10-year old range. The sales representative (***** *******) was able to find a range that would fit the same space as we had before. We placed the order on March 3, and at that time we agreed for an estimated delivery on March 7, Friday. We gave ***** 2 of our cell phone numbers (**** *** ** ******) in case if any one of us will be busy. For some internal delay at CAS, they asked us to move the delivery date for March 8, Saturday. My wife is working ** * ******* on Saturday's so I was at home waiting for the call from the delivery team. Unfortunately they were only provided with my wife's number, and when they called her, she obviously could not take the call. We had the concierge and the repair team at our unit informed and waiting for the delivery. The delivery team never checked with the concierge either. So the delivery team left, and now CAS is charging us for the second delivery. We had to pay the delivery fee due to pressing time line. This is deeply disappointing customer service, and we would never buy again at CAS, *** ***** ********* **** ** ******. * *** **** ***** ******** ****** ****** ** ******* ** I'm very surprised they have not invested anything in improving their customer service.

      UPDATE: After my initial complaint, the CAS after sales representative reached out to me. They investigated my claim, and refunded the shipping fee for second delivery, that was originally charged. This fully resolved our issue, and I am glad that CAS customer service were able to look into our issue and find an amicable solution. I will post this as an update to my original review. Thank you

      Got a.dryer delivered the order and delivery setup was fine but delivery was bit of a hassle with complaints from dryers on pathway to basement. I measured everything was fine the basement a bit narrow but if using sling just need to lift over the stair area. I advised if it gets a little scratched it's fine I'm drying clothes not marrying it. Trouble started when refused to remove old dryer as per the order page. When you click on the dryer it says clearly on right side 2nd thing haul away included. When you add the item it automatically defaults to appliance removal free by default nothing else to click on or nothing about scheduling removal later as the driver tried to say. There is conviently enough nothing on the receipt whatsoever regarding haul away service. Clearly this is.******* purpose for this very reasons. Rope sales in with ***** claims and offers but don't how it on the invoice anywhere. This needs to change. Now I need go call some 3rd party company to come remove the old dryer. I ordered for this arrive wish I didn't. Also the dryer is so cheap the plastic turn dial feels like it will break when I use it.

      In reviewing your order, we see that appliance removal was not added; therefore, the delivery team did not remove the old unit.

      When you click on an dryer on their website the display page showing the dryer information on left side. Top has a large red banner saying ******** and Disconnecting old units included. On the right side is a Why Buy This at CAS? list and 2nd item is **** **** Included. When you click on add to cart button the next screen shows offers of extended warranties then under additional services Appliance Removal (More Info) radio button which is already selected by default. For dryer installation the no dryer installation is already selected by default. The main point I decided to buy it here was the haul away being provided. There is NOTHING else to do on any page in regards to appliance removal. Clicking on checkout takes you to fill out your delivery information and paying which I did. Absolutely nothing else was required nor asked during this process. The one thing I did notice on the invoice was complete lack of appliance removal section. Nothing on the invoice anywhere mentions it which is how you are conveniently denying I added the service. I did not need to add it manually because its already the default option. Your invoice, if you were a proper honest company, would have a section on your invoice that lists haul away service yes/no and show whatever option the customer actually took but you do not. There are a lot of negative reviews on your company all over the web for basic stuff such as this so no real surprise. The only reviews you list on your site are the so called 5 star reviews.

      Canadian Appliance Source (CAS) ** * ******* ************ * ********* *** ***** ******** **** ****. They **** and did not uninstall my old fridge from the existing water line and they did not install/hookup the new fridge to the existing waterline. Despite CAS promising verbally multiple times and in writing as part of the sales order contract to perform this critical service the CAS delivery people flat out refused to perform the waterline disengagement from the old fridge and engagement/hookup to the new fridge. As a result I will have to hire a third party to perform this at additional cost. Point blank they **** and are in breach of the agreement.
      Note: I could have ordered the exact same ********* fridge model from any appliance supplier, they all carry it, the only reason I decided to use CAS was their promises to perform the disconnection and connection to the water. Don't be fooled ** **** *****

      Regarding your inquiry about water hook-up, please note that CAS offers free water hook-up at the time of delivery for select refrigerators. This service requires an existing water line for our team to connect to.



      According to our records, our delivery team did not install a new water line in your case because a copper line was already present. As per our standard operating procedures, our delivery team does not install copper lines.



      For your reference, I have included an extract from your invoice and delivery confirmation email, which outlines these terms.


      ''Waterline: The team will connect an existing waterline to a refrigerator water connection using a quick release connector or compression connector. The delivery team will NOT install a new water line. All refrigerator waterline connections must be to an isolated existing water connection with its own shut off valve. The delivery team will not connect to any copper piping.''

      Dear CAS,
      Your response is pure **. I told your sales team there was an existing water line and they assured me repeatedly and in writing that the delivery people would disconnect the old fridge from the existing water line and hook up the new fridge to the existing water line. I had verbal and written commitment to perform this critical aspect in the purchase agreement. At no time during the sales process did any CAS employee tell me a existing 'copper' water line was a scenario under which they would not perform the disconnect or hook up. The flat out refusal of the delivery team to disconnect the old fridge from the existing water line and their refusal to connect the new fridge to the existing water line constitutes a breach of contract and your are liable I demand a minimum of$200 compensation as damages due your CAS breach of contract - *** *** ***** **** **** ************ *** ** ********* ** ***** ******* *** will be sure to tell everyone I meet about how you treated me.

      We recently bought a microwave from CAS that did not fit above our range due to the dimensions we were given being incorrect. When we called CAS the refused to take it back and said all sales are final. Then upon calling their Corporate service advisor he was extremely **** and actually told us to SHUT UP.       The Customer service will Not help you when the item arrives defected!
      I purchased online with Canadian Appliance Source ********** Refrigerator on Sunday Feb 23 th .
      Payed for speedy delivery and received the item next day .
      We fallowed the connecting instructions.
      Unfortunately 15 min later beeping noise started indicating the door are open, and inside lights went off .
      We called our Sells Representative for help .
      We were advised to fill out Return form immediately as the fridge door most likely are not aligned correctly.
      We fallowed his instructions thinking they will send us new Refrigerator next day .
      Unfortunately that’s where the nightmare begins.
      We had to wait 48 h for response informing us to expect a call from ** Contractor in “few days “
      Next day another email : expect a call from ********** Contractor .
      Our Refrigerator make is **********!!
      Even though we stated in our Return form - Replacement or refund only .
      We are not interested of fixing this item !
      I called the Customer Service many times , but they wouldn’t connect me with Supervisor or Manager.
      I send numbers of emails asking for help but there is simply no communication back from CAS except those automated emails back .
      4 days later I received a call from CAS person assigned for my case .
      I explained again, we need this defected fridge out of our home and at this point Refund only .
      I was told to wait few days for her to get back to me .
      Day 5 .
      I received call from “Elite “ company to schedule app with Contractor to fix the Fridge !
      CAS DON’T CARE about Customers after they get your money!
      We are living without fridge for a week now .
      At this point we had to
      purchase another Fridge from somewhere else .
      We are family if 5 and we need Fridge that works .
