I ordered a laundry center for my tenant on Dec 23rd knowing from the website that it would be delivered on Dec 24th. The early delivery date is the reason I made the order. But the delivery never happened and today my tenant told me he received an email telling him the order was cancelled. The payment went through on Dec 23. I called CAS and was transferred to customer care. I was told the reason for the cancellation was some ***** company cannot verify my payment. I don't know how that was done because I never received anything from anyone about it. They said they only have my tenant's email. The payment already went through but they said it cannot be verified? I asked that either the order be restored or they refund me. My only answer was I will receive my money back later. I requested to talk to someone responsible but was told there isn't anyone to talk to. Really regret buying from them.Canadian Appliance Source

We bought an ** washer. The sales person, Mohammed A. was excellent. Delivery of the washer was less than satisfatory. The two delivery people were careless and rushed to leave the washer. One of them removed my old washer by himself, but carelessly. He broke some decorative wood trim on the floor. He didn't offer to get it fixed. As they left, the same guy gave me a delivery sheet to sign in a rush, not mentioning that it also indicated that my signature also indicated that there was no problem during delivery. I should have read the small print! When I called Canadian Appliance Source to get the trim repaired, I was told the I had signed meant they would not repair it.Canadian Appliance Source

Please be advised that a signature indicating that there were no damages serves as confirmation that the area was checked on the day of delivery.
If the customer, or whoever receives the appliances signs this section, the delivery company is usually not liable for any damages claimed after the fact.

My point is that the delivery was rushed and careless but the delivery guy didn't tell me that the small print in the form I signed absolved Canadian Appliance Source of culpability. Instead, he gave me a form which seemed to say that the appliance was delivered and, since the guy was in a rush, I signed it. * ** ******* ****** ** ****** ** the delivery of any appliances from Canadian Appliance Source to make sure the delivery is not careless and rushed, and not to sign the delivery form if the delivery caused damage.Review fromDevrin F

Terrible experience. We bought an ********** refrigerator from them. Free waterline connection was included. The delivery team arrived and said that they couldn’t install the waterline. They never do it, they don’t have tools and they don’t have a waterline. Called customer service. They claimed it wasn’t on the order so too bad. I wanted to talk to a manager because on the website free waterline connection is automatic. I showed them the site. They acknowledged that but refused to do anything. No discount on shipping. I purchased a stackable washer and dryer on December 1st with delivery and installation scheduled for the 5th. However, installation couldn't happen because the stacking kit was missing from the dryer. Since then I have called their 'customer care' department, spoken to my sales rep and even visited the store yet they have refused to take any responsibility in resolving the issue. Instead they have tried to pass the burden on to me to contact the supplier as they are only the 'dealer' of the product. It is now December 18th and I still don't have a functioning washer and dryer - while waiting to hear from supplier about missing pieces I have been left in limbo with no resolution or accountability from retailer. They had no problem taking my money but they have completely failed to deliver on their end. This level of ********** *** disregard for customer service is unacceptable. CAS receives all products factory-sealed from the manufacturers and those are only unboxed after delivery/ pick up. As such, we have no way of knowing if an appliance is missing any parts.
Our records indicate that our After-Sales team placed another order with Reliable Parts on December 23rd as the stacking kit was on back-order with Samsung.
The order was shipped on December 24th and a tracking number # was also sent to you by email. For any other questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact us.

** **** * We purchased a NEW washer dryer - They delivered a washer a faulty dryer which I doubt were new because there was no box -and the delivery person said be careful when pressing the power - you just have to touch it lightly - it wasn’t till they left that I realized there was no plastic on the front of the dryer panel and when i touched it lightly it realized the control panel on the front is not siting properly and pushes in past the housing in even if touched lightly. The whole top plastic piece isn’t sitting properly and makes the electronic panel loose. AND realized not 10 minutes after they delivered and you can’t reach anyone until 9am. You don’t get to chose your delivery time window - they deliver when their call center is closed and you can’t reach anyone at customer service. Waited till 9am when their call center opened to get the response that any customer would get regardless of the circumstances that we have to complete a PDF? The customer service was of no service at all. Their procedure is that because the machine was dropped off, we now have to complete a form that they will email us, then we print out complete and email back to them - no contact info etc…. AND wait 2 business days for a response AND there is a 25% restocking fee!?!??! For a machine that was supposed to be new that we ordered but didn’t get. And this is somehow OK? Please note that our team will always unbox larger appliances at the time of delivery, as part of our white glove service for easy maneuvering. This also allows our customers to inspect the appliances for any discrepancies or possible damages/defects.
This information is provided to all customers at the time of purchase in their invoice and delivery confirmation email.
The appliances were unboxed, set up in place and installed as per the services included on December 13th of 2024.
Our records show that an exchange of the Whirlpool dryer has been scheduled on December 19th of 2024.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Canadian Appliance Source (CAS). I purchased a stackable washer and dryer, and the entire process was plagued by *****************, lack of accountability, and significant delays.
The stacking kit, which was essential for installation, was missing from the package—a fact later confirmed by their parts and service department, who admitted it should have been included. When I reached out to Farman K. the sales rep listed on my order who had even asked me to leave a positive review mentioning him, he refused to assist and deflected responsibility. Christina E. another sales rep involved, also denied responsibility, stating, “I’m no longer your sales rep, and Farman has to assist you.” Neither of them took ownership of the issue, leaving me to navigate the situation on my own.
I escalated the matter to Andy R. at HQ, who initially promised to address my concerns and expedite the stacking kit. However, after November 6, he stopped responding to emails and calls altogether. Multiple installation attempts were scheduled, but each one failed. On one occasion, the technicians did not call my tenant despite my repeated instructions, resulting in a missed appointment. On another occasion, CAS sent technicians who admitted they were new and unqualified to complete the installation.
Customer service interactions were equally poor, with representatives being ***** *********** *** unwilling to provide meaningful assistance. What should have been a straightforward purchase became a month-long ordeal, causing repeated inconvenience to both me and my tenant.
CAS claims to prioritize respect, responsibility, and customer satisfaction, but my experience shows otherwise. Their failure to follow through on basic commitments *** ***** **** ** *************** make it clear they do not embody the values they promote. I recently purchased a ********* microwave and trim kit and found that the trim kit had been opened and the instructions and a part were missing and when I called the salesman all he said is that they don’t take returns and gave me a number to call. After 2 calls and being on hold for 45 min I left a call back number which they returned after a second attempt, the then asked me to take pictures from every angle and send it to them twice and then said they see nothing wrong and I am mistaken ******* **** *****. Even the salesman warned me they don’t take returns which I didn’t take seriously my second mistake the first one was purchasing from Canadian Appliance.

***** **** ******* ** *** ****** They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. These are large purchases yet, this company treats their customers like *******.
We purchased a washer, dryer, and stacking kit online because they were advertising free installation and next day delivery. Once we purchased the unit, we got an email asking which month we would like the items delivered, and that the stacking kit was on back order. So, after speaking with customer service, it was agreed that we would buy the stacking kit on ******. Delivery was arranged 4 days after the purchase date.
When the delivery arrived, the installers were immediately *********** and **** and refused to remove the stacked drier because we hadn’t selected the disposal of the drier. We had planned on selling the unit as it was still working and didn’t want to see it go to a landfill. They offered no solutions, only stating on multiple occasions that they “don’t work for free”. Once it was agreed they could dispose of the drier, they noted that they would not do that either because we had used an un-approved stacking kit previously (an ****** purchase that was needed because stacking kits were no longer available for our old units when we them in). I walked into the store about 2-3 weeks before delivery and had explained to the sales rep I needed my appliances by Nov 30th the latest, he reassured me plenty of times that there will be no issues with the delivery date. As a customer I believed the promise made to me and decided to purchase 4600$+ of appliances from this store and to be honest, it was the worst mistake I've ever made in my life. I received a call a week prior to delivery and was told that the delivery department was not working on my delivery weekend because of black Friday? **** **** ** ** ** ***** I asked for compensation given the promise I was made for the delivery date and was told that they'd given me as much discount as possible and did everything on their end to get me the best price. I wasn't even offered free delivery, which you have to pay for by the way. The free delivery advertisement is a sales tactic and ***** advertisement to customers ( you pay the delivery anyways but due to the "discounts" you apparently don't pay for it. After arguing for some sort of compensation I asked to speak to a sales manager or store owner and was told that the store owner only drops in from time to time and he isn't available. **** **** I proceeded to call the customer service number and was greeted by an even worse employee than the ones at the store. I was told by the customer service rep that it was marked down in their calendar in store that there would be no delivery on such weekend and I'd have to wait until the following week for delivery. My experience with the Sales Rep Jay was good. He was knowledgeable, helped us to feel confident about our selected Gas Range. However, he does not know the company’s payment processes which caused us to rearrange our schedules waiting for a delivery that was only cancelled after the delivery window expired.
Our issue arose on delivery day. I spoke a representative in the Delivery Dept ext -*** at 9 am. We were on schedule to receive our delivery between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. After receiving a delivery tracking link and waiting for my delivery which didn’t arrive. I contacted the delivery department to find out what happened only to be told that my delivery was cancelled. Their customer service people are extremely **** and ********. They refused to allow me to speak to a manager And could not elaborate on why I was not informed of any issues when I spoke to customer service at 9 AM.
We went back to the store to speak to a manager and were informed that the stores do not have managers and only the sales rep who placed an order can cancel it because they work on commission. I tried to speak to a manager in Customer service but was told I couldn’t be transferred for this issue I had to deal with CS representatives even though I wasn’t getting any resolutions to my problems in dealing with them.
I tried to find contact information for their head office but was unable to find a phone number or complaints email. Customer service at CAS is non existent and customers are not treated with respect and understanding.Canadian Appliance Source

Yes unfortunately it was not communicated with us. Not by our salesman nor by your customer service team member when I called at 9 am on the day of my delivery. Also, the way in which my order was cancelled was absolutely disgraceful. Rather than cancelling my order on the basis of unsatisfactory customer service which was our reason for cancelling, your salesman sent us an email stating that our order was cancelled due to security reasons because of suspicious payment. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to speak to a senior person in management at CAS. Your team treats customers very disrespectfully because they know we cannot get in touch with management. It is unfortunate that because CAS is a large company your team will continue to mistreat customers and unfortunately get away with it. Your actions toward me and disregard for my family's time wasted, the loss of income we suffered waiting for a delivery all day were all treated matter of factly by your team and no accountability was taken or compensation offered. My only hope is that others read my reviews and decide to shop at other retailers.
