      Showed up at 11:00 am and waited over 30 min in line because there was only one worker in the car rental line. I wasn’t renting a car. I just wanted to get my keys and go.

      Friendly staff and very easy drop off. Pick up on the other hand was not fast and line took forever. Only had one worker for all these people coming in. Made me go over my time.

      Got a reservation and went to pickup the car. Handed them my license and they said they don't rent to locals. They told me that I should have read the terms and conditions. I called the site I went through (**************** * * ****** ** *** *** ** *** ***) and they said they won't give me a refund because I didn't cancel 48 hours before. I told them that I didn't cancel. They won't rent me a car. I was told by *********** that I should have read the terms and condition. *********** had my address and they still booked the car and gave me a reservation number. They charged me the whole week of rental. Both companies are absolute ****. ***** ******* *** *** ******* ***** **** ********** * ** **** **** * *** ***** **** * ****** *****

      Rented a car for five days. Upon returning the vehicle I requested a receipt. The person checking my rental back in told me I would receive the receipt via email message. I waited and never received and email. I called approximately 12 hours late and was told you have to wait 5 business days to receive a receipt. I rented this for business and if I had known I needed two wait a week to get a receipt I would have chosen another company to rent a car from. I have rented from this company twice before and never waited for a receipt. Called Routes and the person on the phone told me that is the policy and to contact customer care and complain. I don't want to complain. Just wanted mu receipt.

      * **** ** **** ****** ** ********* **** ******* **** **** ****** *** ********** * ** ********* Using *******, I rented a car from Routes Car Rental. The rate was ~ $40 for a car per day for 3 days which totals out to ~$125. When I presented to the counter I was told that the credit card deposit was $500. You are not able to pay the deposit using a debit card. This is not noted anywhere through the ******* confirmation of the rental. The kind gentleman at ******* contacted the business while I was still in their lobby and he was told that we would have to submit the request for refund without penalty via email. Ridiculous. ***** ***** **** **** *** ***** ** **** ******

      Your policy states that a credit card deposit is required, yes. There is no value listed. A $500 credit card deposit is not remotely expected or even vaguely mentioned. I have already contacted your customer service department and received a similar run around to your comment.

      Picked up my car at Chicago airport. Only problem I had was finding my way to the pick up location. Messages were not clear.
      Kesha at the pick up location was exceptional with her customer service. Very friendly and informative.

      ******** ****** ** *** *** ***** Got to their location in Ft. Lauderdale I was 30 mins late, they no longer had the car I had rented but could rent me the sand car for another $400 plus a $500 security deposit that they said I would get back in 5-7 business days. It’s been over 30. I’ve contacted them with my reservation number and it has somehow disappeared from their system

But we would like to inform you that pre-authorization get automatically released with in 24 to 48 hours of the rental we would request you to please contact your credit card company sometime it depends on their policy's

      It’s a scam! They bait you with a low cost and then when you get there, they slam you with other fees that you cannot refuse. The location is off the airport. It would be very difficult to go to another rental company at that point. They know they’ve got you!! Don’t ever rent from them

      I rented a car in Chicago and second day the car wouldn’t start it was saying that key is not detected . I was calling car rentals few times and no one pick up the phone . I was sitting in cold car 2 hours didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t find any other number to call . After 2 hours I watched on ******* what to do if car doesn’t start and found out to touch the key to starter . Finally I started. ***** **** **** **** *
