  ******** ******* **** ******* ** * ****. I was charged 25 percent of the total value of a job that was never performed. Ghosted for a refund and management is impossible to connect with/ operator says they are not available.
  Technician came out to look at the job and quoted me $746 for replacement of a dishwasher hose. At the time he was here, I was unsure of the complexity of the job and my husband was not home. I was told I had to pay a deposit so I gave $350 cash to the tech and I was unable to confirm with my husband that we would proceed with the work based on the problem. My husband came home 10 mins later and said that is $746 is outrageous for the scope and supplies needed for the job. I quickly called the company back 15 mins after the technician left at 7:30 pm and I was told that the supplies for the job were already procured and it was too late to cancel the job which was scheduled for after 1pm the next day. Nothing was procured bec when I called the office they said no managers are available bec they are almost closed, but they refused to return my $350 cash deposit. I understand the need to charge me the agreed $99 deposit but to keep $350 for work that was not completed is * ****. I have been calling the office each day for the whereabouts of my refund and keep being told it will be e-transfered to me. No sign of my refund and each person on the phone tells me I will hear from management. Whenever I ask, they are busy or not in the office. *** ***** *** ***** ** ****. Fred or Jason in management, please give me a call so that I know the issue has escalated to you. I have been asking to connect with you each day but no one contacts me back.
  Btw, the $746 job cost $46 and less than 45 mins to do ourselves. Quote not itemized to show hours of labour, parts etc., Bogus quote! ** *** *** * ***** ***** **** ******** ***** *** ***** ********* *** ***** ** ***** *******

  ****** Asked for a quote to have water hooked up to a refrigerator. Water line would have to be fished along a beam. Estimate given was $2144! Then we asked for estimate if we fished it ourselves. Was promised an email, but they never got back. Husband and I did the job ourselves in about an hour and a half by watching ******* videos. Total cost less than $100 including specialized tools. Complained to management both by phone and email. Was told I would be given a refund only because the second quote by email was never given. PROMISED REFUND NOT SENT.

  On Friday night around midnight, I found a pipe in my basement that was spraying water everywhere. I turned off the water main and called Superior Plumbing and Heating at 8:30 am on Saturday. They said they could be there by 11:00, but their specialist Dave arrived early at 10:00 and fixed it by taking out a water filtration system and replacing some copper pipe. He also found out that the pipes in the kitchen sink had deteriorated, a new sink had to be put in by another contractor, and then the faucet, drain, and pipes had to be put in. He put in the faucet and drain, cut and welded the pipes, and then hooked up the water to the dishwasher again. He had everything he needed to do the job right there, and he cleaned up after each part. A knowledgeable and skilful expert. The price was fair and i even was offered a discount .

  The pipe underneath the sink was leaking in my grandmother's condo, and my mother called Superior Plumbing due to the good reviews (hindsight: what a horrible mistake that was). The company assured my mother that the plumber would come between 6:00pm-9:00pm. Okay it sucks that it is 3 hours, but it is important to get the leak looked at and fixed.
  6pm comes: no plumber.
  7pm comes: no plumber.
  8pm comes: no plumber.
  9pm: surely they must come by now...but nope, no plumber. What gives?
  They did not arrive until 10:30pm that night. One hour and 30 minutes after the company said the plumber was coming. No call either to say the plumber was running late either. When the 'plumber' eventually came (if we can call them that), my mother got the feeling they had no idea what they were doing.
  They then turned off the water and wanted to charge my grandmother $100 just for that. They then charged $1500 to fix the leak. So in total, it would have cost my grandmother $1600.
  My mother then called another plumber who came out promptly and charged only $350 to fix the leak.
