      When calling 10+times from late last night to early morning and then mid day the workers do not follow through with calling back to help unlock ** ******** account and hold his money *******.
      Not only that but the bank system went down when we needed to pay our bill at a bar .
      We really are done with this poor customer service .
      I do not recommend this bank to anyone anymore. * **** ** ***** **** **** ** **** *** *** ******* *

      ***** **** *** ********* From opening the account to closing the account. I was with them for a total of 6 months, and I had so many issues, from fraud to even getting and activating the new debit card which they sent by mail except they refused to send me confirmation of the "money owing" due to a fraud investigation whose transaction was reversed without my knowledge. My address or phone number has not changed and they refused to call me or write me by mail to advise that they reopened my account and reversed the money they gave back to me for the fraudulent investigation.
      I attempted to call them multiple times but they of course refused to assist me. Today is when I was basically forced to answer questions to do a soft check on my credit with ********** just for them to give me the information about the accounts I requested to be closed, that they confirmed to me, they had reopened without my knowledge. When I requested they send me the recording of the call, they submitted a complaint because I requested to speak to a manager. They kept saying I owed 144.51$, the amount that was reversed into my closed account that they reopened without any contact to me. They refused to send me anything written even at my request. The manager Isaiah then said I owe, but couldn't handle my questions and said, I no longer owe then gave me an email to request the recording of the call. They threatened to put me in collections, because they reopened my account, without my knowledge and reversed the transaction, also without my knowledge. * ** ********* *** ***** **** ********* ** ** ****** ******* ** *********** ******* *** ******** **** ** they never could answer me as to why no one reached out to me by phone or by mail to tell me they reopened my account and reversed the transaction. ** *** **** ** *** *** ******* **** ***** ***** **** ****** ** ******* *** *** *** ** ** ******* **** **** **** ****** *********** *****

      They put my husband and me through a living hell transferring our mortgage. That happened last July we ended up homeless for over a week. Finally we got our house. We could have lost it, if the seller hadn’t been amenable.
      They took the full amount from our last house and put it down and we had asked them to hold $50,000 back now we are in debt. we tried to do apply for a line of credit from them, but they declined us. **** **** **** **** ******** *****

      I am client at Tangerine for many years. Did transactions in thousands of dollars. Recently I tried to transfer several thousands of dollars from my Tangerine account to another bank. This was an EFT. Instead of transferring my money to another bank as requested, these Tangerine ********* tried transfer thousands of dollars from my another in to my account at Tangerine !! Complete reversal of my request. Made a complete mess of my whole account. Made me stay on the with Tangerine for more than 4 hrs, Even then they would not accept their fault. ** *** **** ** *** **** they were demanding $7.50 from me as NSF !! ***** ****** ****** ******* *** ***** *** *** * ****** ***** **** ******* **** **** **** *********** It is their duty to apologize to me for their screw up, not demanding a penalty from me. ***** **** **** **** **** *****

      Tangerine is irresponsible *** ****** ** ******* with your money. *** ***** ** ************ ** ******* I asked them to transfer my money to my other financial institution about a month ago. Instead of sending it electronically, they cut a cheque and now that money is in limbo. * ****** ********* ******* **** **** **** *****

      If you believe you should have access to your funds, ** *** **** **** ***********
      Once you deposit your funds they put a 5 day hold on the funds even though it’s a bank transfer directly from your account.
      Once that hold is over they place another hold on your funds for further “security” checks, for an additional 5+ days.
      **** ** ****** ***** *** **** ****** ** ****** ***** I’m still trying to get my money.
      3hrs on hold just today… In total 27.5 hours of being on hold… just to open a Savings account.

      I received a settlement from **** and deposited the cheque and they held it for a week, even though they stated 5 days. Finally released my funds. * ** ****** * ******* ******* ** **** ** ***** **** ******** ** ** ******* ***** *** ****** ** * ***** ****** ** *** ****** and because I don't have an external account there's no way to get the money needed to purchase the vehicle. I have been on the phone with them 2 to 3 times a day for over a week trying to get this sorted out. Not once did they offer me any assistance as to what I could do besides the external account or a bank draft. So I have made a bank draft out to the person I am purchasing the vehicle from and her bank has said it will take 5 days to process the draft as there is no way the bank can confirm anything with Tangerine as there is no office to speak with someone. And even when you speak with a 'supervisor' there, they *** **** *** don't care and offer no help. So now I have this bank draft coming in someone's else's name that I'm going to have to give to her *** **** *** ******* ***** ** ***** I'm afraid to cancel the bank draft ** ** **** ******** ** ******* *** **** ***** ** ******** ** ****. * **** ****** ** ** *** ****** ***** *** **** *** ******* *** ** *** ** ***** *** **** **** ***** ***** ********* ********** ******* **** ** **** ***** *** *** ******* *** ** ****** ** *** **** **** *********.       ********** poor customer service, ridiculously long wait times to speak with customer service.
      At any given time wait times now average over an hour.
      During New Year's 2023/2024 they shut down the entire system, the main and two backups, for over 8 hours.
