      Nowhere in their communications or explanation when opening an account do they describe the nonsense you have to go through just to activate a debit card to access your money.
      Don't bother calling to try to complain or get any sort of explanation, because ******* or whoever you get doesn't speak English.

      Hold my money on the cheque account for months as they can't confirm documents I sent them. Have to spend hours on calls them. Just want to unblock my money and run away from them.

      ** ******* *** *** *** ** **** ******** ******** ****** ******* ** **** ****** ********* *** this is the worst Ive experienced. I had opened my account almost 1 month ago and still have not been able to use it due to various verification, each week they need a new document. I had my entire pay deposited and now I don't even have access, I had to borrow from friends to pay my rent. I've spoken to them about 5 times, each day the answer is parroted it takes 2-5 business days, like every time.
      They don't train their customer service employees, don't know to handle the queries, just repeat the scripted answer, thinking that gets them off the hook.
      Not helpful at all, asked to lodge a complain it takes 3-5 business days as well. I have no access to my money, and I couldn't talk to anyone since it was not their system. I told them I didn't I wish to continue at least I need to close the account , as reading out form their manual it would take 3-5 business days. I had researched more before I went to them, hence I feel the need to write review so someone else doesn't suffer the same fate.

      I can't deposit my CANADIAN GOVERNMENT CHEQUE because it's "not in Canadian funds from a Canadian institute" AND my ICBC REBATE CHEQUES BECAUSE MY NAME IS ON THE CHEQUE AND THE LESOR OF THE CAR.. I PAY ALL THE INSURANCE PREMIUMS AND HAVE THE CHEQUE ENDORSED.. ***.. I'm close my account today, I have $800 in CERTIFIED cheques I CANNOT desposit due to Tangerine. *** ** **** *********

       I have been with tangerine from the beginning for Cash accounts. For the last year or so probably in wake of there CEO and upper management this bank has become a complete ****.
      Lately I cold be on hold to negotiate new interest rates but this week I need to move money above the daily limit so I have to talk to customer service. I have a time crunch for these funds that could cause financial loss. I am on hold now and have been all night. they claim to have 24 7 support on there website. it's non existent. If I incur losses, either way I will take this Bank to court and hold the CEO and upper management personally responsible for financial negligence and *****.

      I am very sad I decided to try this bank. If you need support, you have to call. The employees are rude and don't seem to care about any issues you need help with. If your bank card is compromised, expect to wait two weeks with no access to your money. They send your card one day and supposedly the pin the next. I never received mine. They seem to think this is perfectly acceptable service. No apologies whatsoever. ***** **** * **** **** ***** ****. Employees blame other departments for issues. No accountability whatsoever anywhere. ** *** *** *********** **** ***** ****** ****** *** ***** ******* ** ******** *** **** ******. This is not referring to only one occasion.       Tangerine has worst mortgage terms ever. Although their interest rate might a little bit lower than its competitor, but even if you only borrow $10K house loans, they will require to written their name on your land title in full amount of home value.
