      Had issues with getting a Bank Card sent out as the only address I have available to ship to is a PO Box since my apartment has no on site mail, they offered ZERO help other than "We can close the account and mail you the money in it.".
      Terrible customer service and and actually glad I will not be banking with them now that I have witnessed how poorly they handled this.. ******* ** * *** * ****** ***** ***** *** **** **** ** ********* ** *** ***** ** *** ****** *****

      If you are doing any travelling out of your area your cards may not work. We have bank card issues all the time at checkout in ******* or ****** then you have to go to an approved ATM and verify your card then go back and finish you purchase. We went to Mexico could not use the card called 3time and even drove to an approved ATM and it still did not work. When I called when back at home was told it was my fault and should have had money somewhere else as they don’t guarantee you can access your money very bad costumer service *** ******* * *** *** **** ************** * ** *** ********* **** ** *** **** ****** ** ***** ********** **** ***********

      I deposited a check 5 days ago, it is stated there is a 5 day hold policy. I received an email saying "the cheque you submitted for deposit through Cheque-In has been put into your Account". It seemed like this was all going fine according to there 5 day hold policy. But when I login into my account it states funds will be available March 3rd. Why on earth is it taking 2 weeks to deposit a cheque?
      I called customer service today to ask if if there would be anyway to release funds before March 3rd as I was not aware it would take this long and I need to pay my rent by the end of day today. I was passed around between customer service and the security team everyone just basically saying its our policy. I am unbelievably frustrated as I have deposited cheques of this amount at other banking intuitions and have never had seen them held for more than 5 days. I have had the same issues with making etransfers, taking sometimes two whole days. I would have never made this deposit if I'd known you would hold it for two weeks, TWO WEEKS! I cannot pay my rent now and have to find a way to afford groceries.

      Very dishonest client service just trying to blame everything on the client instead of admitting their mistake. I transferred almost all the money out from my chequing account the day after automatic credit card payment datew supposed to happen trusting what I can see on my credit card balance (paid full on the day before withdrawal). However, they tried to withdraw the next business day which was 4 days after since there was a long weekend in between, costing me $70 on fee. I had enough funds on the "supposedly" the correct withdrawal date, yet, they just keep arguing they tried to withdraw on the promised date!
      On my part, I can accept my mistake of not checking the transaction history before making transfers, but seems like on their part, they can't just say an apology that they weren't doing the promised transaction on the promised transaction date. While updating the balance that created confusion to me. The client representative just keep making an excuse after an excuse to blame the fault solely on me of not having the funds on the "payment date" ( not true) and trying me shape me like I'm lying to them. What a convenient practice.

      worst banking experience, an hours wait to speak with Nelson, who then passed me onto another department, 1 hour hold time for them. Seriously?? why are they sending me correspondence when the account was closed...inactive fee now for a savings account closed 10 months ago??? so much for no fee banking, get real or close!!!

      Tangerine kept a govt issued cheque on hold for five days without warning. I haven’t had any money to buy groceries, pay for bus fare etc. and today I ran out of toilet paper. ********** ******** *************

      Had to reach out to Tangerine's Customer Service for multiple fraudulent charges on my card and below was my experience.

      When calling the telephone system and going into the credit card options, I am only given the options of listing transactions (posted or not posted), and there is no actual option to select for disputing charges. So by pressing '0', I go to the general customer service line. From there, I get transferred to the credit card services. From there I get transferred to the security line. I waited just over two hours, and the line rang once, and brought me back to the general phone menu options. Before I could select anything, the line dropped. AFTER TWO HOURS, I was back to square one. Waited another hour on hold and was emailing with their info email where they finally told me that I could call customer service and request a call back. Still on hold to get back to the original customer service group. So another thirty mins and counting. It's going to be close to four hours soon.

      This is seriously the worst card experience I've ever had, with any institution. Just endless waiting.

      I will be closing my accounts shortly.

      This is an unreliable and unfair bank when it comes to depositing your funds or speaking with client services. You cannot trust that you will get access to your money. They will not warn you of this and they will not rectify it accordingly.

      Payment dispute was the original concern now it’s the agents
      ** * *** **** ***** *** * * * ***** ** I called about a payment that was not authorized and the first agent cold transferred me and I waited for about an hour for the payment department then I called back because I never reached anyone then when I reached the next agent, I told her let me know the wait time and be honest because I was frustrated I waited a long time and I asked if it was possible to get a callback and she said no and told me don’t worry it will only be 10-20 mins and she told me she cannot speak to the next agent she was transferring me to for me and cold transferred me … AGAIN IT TOOK CLOSE TO ANOTHER HOUR WAITING … so I hung up super upset and asked the next agent (3rd one now) to transfer me to his supervisor… he left me on hold for close to 30 mins without checking back so I gave up at this point …. Terrible TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I CANT EVEN !!

      Kept me on hold for 4+ hours and kept sending me between customer service and credit card and security departments. After all of the bouncing around, I finally hear from one of the reps that I actually don't have an account there as all the other reps had told me I have (I have a physical copy of a credit card that wasn't working)
      Wasted my whole day and they were of no help throughout the whole process.
