      I have been a customer with them for over 2 decades but for the last 9 yrs they were the main bank - credit card, line of credit, chequing, savings. Being a contractor and since Tangerine doesn't offer small business acct, had to transfer money from ****** **** (same business group) to them. It always takes 5 business day (not "up to" but exactly, to the second). I am only being paid once a month - so I already have lots of bills waiting. More than once they charged me 45$ NSF while my own money was on hold! I tried to get overdraft and Tangerine, the same bank that asks me to increase my credit-card limit and that credits me with 10,000 LOC, refused me - despite having a credit score over 800 and virtually no debt. Just so they can charge me these NSF fees.
      * ********** **** **** ****** *** ********* **** **** - will keep on writing to my MP and to everyone I can think to force these banks to release people's money ASAP. I finally caved in and I am moving my accounts to another bank.

      Customer service is deplorable...you stay on phone for an hour and they disconnect you. ...total garbage. Do yourself a favour don't bank with these ******.....not worth you're time

      Worst customer service we have ever experienced from any company! Ever! *** **** **** ******* ***** ******  Employess ** *** **** * ***** ***** ***** *** *** offer no useful assistance! Bank info was compromised and funds were taken from scammers. We have been dealing with this for weeks amd have not got anywhere! Not even a manager to talk to **** ********* *** ********** *** ********** **** *** *********  Once we get every in order, we are taking everything out and closing all accounts. *********

      I have been a customer at Tangerine for iver 5 years. Deposited a government cheque & did not clear the cheque for my purchase to go through THUS charging me $40 NSF for a $65 purchase PLUS damaging my credit!
      After writing to them I get this automated message : " there could be several reasons ...* ** ******** * ***** ***** **** ***** ********* *** ****** ****

      ***** **** ***** **** ***** **** ***** ******* I unfortunately was a victim of a scam.. I was honest and embarrassed about the situation and they made me feel like garbage. I took an entire day off work just to get them in the phone .. when I did they made me feel small and not valued. I asked them to lock down the account to everyone including me.. I was advised everything was good but the person continued to make fraudulent cheques to my account and tangerine still did nothing and could only offer me a $100 credit towards over $600 of NSF fees if bounced fraud cheques. The security ******** ** ** *** **** ***** **** *** told me I was no longer a customer.. I was thankful at this point.. but nope the next day they allowed that person to make another deposit. ********* ** *** ***** ******* ********** * **** **** **** * ******** **** **** ** * ****

      I have been with tangerine for over 5 years and they are by far the WORST banking company ever when it comes to customer service. I made a complaint that there was money taking out of my account and I don't know from whom, the company I thought it was said it wasn't them. After having me on the phone for an hour and bouncing me around 8 times they told me it would take ten days to get my money back.i said I want my money back the same day as they have done it before. *** **** ***** **** ******** ******* ** ****** ***** **** *** *************** **** ****** * *** *** **** ** **** **** *** **** ***** ******* **** ** *** ******* ******** * ****** ** **** *** **** ********* they told me give them three more days. I called them again and they said there will be no investigation on my case and yet NOBODY CALLED TO TELL ME THIS AFTER WAITING TEN ***** DAYS. *** ***** *** ************** *** ******* *** ** ****** *** ******** **** *** ********* *** ********* *** *** *** ** **** *** ** ******* they NEVER share notes you're constantly repeating yourself *** **** **** I still don't know who's been taking money from my account which means they can keep going back for more and now I have to wait another three days for a ***** call back. *** ** **** **** ****** **** ****** I'm closing my account *** * **** ******** ******* ** **** *** ** *** ** ********

      Very bad service! *** ***** ******* ** ******* **** ***** I had zero issues with them up until I deposited a cheque from my insurance! Then they “locked” it! I went thru a lot with them just to get my account opened again! Now i deposited the same kind of cheque a week later in the same time frame and it was supposed to get released today but it’s “not their fault” why it wasn’t released! ***** ***** ** ** ****** **** ******** ******* ** **** *****

      Tangerine has delivered less than favorable service to me. Denying me overdraft, failing to report the phone number and address of the fraudsters trying to apply for $100,000 line of credit on my account and when I reported what showed up in my email, all they did was issue a new card and re enter the previous phone number and address being my own. Then after depositing a cheque for under $1,500 they held the entire thing giving me excuse after excuse of why they couldnt release even $100 for me to get by for the weekend. On top of that a friend interac etransferred me $30 to get me by so i deposited it into my savings which, they bow deny me access to withdrawal using my card and deny me from etransferring it to another account both of wich I have done before. When my cheque clears I have already made an appointment with another financial institution as I will be closing my accounts with tangerine as I do not feel valued as a customer. *** ***** ** ****** *** ****** ** ** ***** ******* ******** * ** ******** ** ******** ***** ****** *******

      Horrible customer service! * ****** I have been with this bank since it was ***... never had any issues but never really needed anything from them until I got married and needed to change my last name on account. It has taken 7 weeks, numerous long phone calls, numerous documents emailed and they still have not changed my name. Every time I call they as me for some other document, when I send that document I then get an email 2 days later telling me to call them; so I do and then they need something else. They specifically asked me to send my SIN letter from the government, I went online and ordered it, waited 2 weeks for it to come in the mail and then emailed it to them, now they are telling me they do not accept SIN Letters. What???? Now they want my T4 because it shows my SIN... instead of the Government issued SIN Letter. This makes absolutely no sense.
      This has been a horrible experience and I am seriously considering closing my account because of it. ** ****** ********** **** ** ***** *** ****** ************ *** ** ********** ***********
