      * ****** ********* ****** *** ********* ** ** *** ********* ******* ** ***** ***** ** ******* ********* ******* My recent encounter with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience to protect others from the same ordeal.
      I scheduled a fridge repair service with Express Appliance Repair, expecting a professional and reliable service.
      However, they missed their scheduled time slot without a single phone call to inform of any changes to the scheduled time window. I had to rearrange my evening, and still, they didn't show up during the promised time frame. This blatant disregard for their customers' time is absolutely inexcusable.
      But the worst was yet to come. I expressed my concerns and called them in efforts to determine what happened. They proceeded to tell me that the technical did indeed show up but not within the scheduled time. The Express Appliance service was never completed.
      The most disgusting part and to make matters worse, less than a month later a phantom invoice was sent to a collection agency without any prior notice or explanation. The communications from this collection agency was about an unpaid bill for a random amount when no service was completed, no physical invoice, no email of invoice and no one ever called to say I owed them anything.
      **** ** *** **** *** ******** ******** **** ********** ********* It is completely unacceptable to send an unpaid invoice to a collection agency without any effort to communicate or resolve the issue with the customer first.
      I am appalled by the lack of professionalism, communication, and integrity displayed by Express Appliance Repair.       My elderly mom had contacted Express Repair for an issue with her stove that needed to be fixed. They told her that service call would be $99.00 and only $25.00 if she agreed to have her stove fixed.
      This guy came and only looked at the stove and told her there was nothing wrong with it. So she said ok, then I will pay you for your service call. He said no, no, just wait a minute and he was just standing there playing around wasting time and then gave her a bill for $280.00 when he had not fixed anything or changed any parts.
      They took advantage of an elderly woman and people needs to be warned about them.
      I wish there was a way for her to be reimbursed for this amount of money when the guy never changed anything, but I do not know if this is possible.

      We contacted Express Repair on Feb 23/23. Their price to fix our range would cost $756.22 plus an additional $114.25 for handling fees. They said we needed to pay in full before parts could be ordered. We were guaranteed to have our range fixed in 2-3 weeks once the parts came in. Well we’re still waiting. It is now Sept 1st. When we call to speak to the manager Michelle, she’s not available, or she’s just left the office. The receptionist says she will pass on the message, but we’ve never heard back from her. A new ******** range is $3,500.00. We can’t afford a new range. We’ve been using a hot plate for 6 months and we are a family of five……

      I had no choice but to reach out to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to help me with my problem. In May 2023, I called Express Repair because my fridge was making a loud noise from hitting the ice. A technician came and defrosted the fridge, which took about 20 minutes. They charged me $288 for the service and said they would come back and install an extra heater if the noise came back.
      But things went downhill from there. After three weeks, the noise came back. I called Express Repair multiple times (I have phone call logs to prove it), but it was hard to get in touch with their customer support. When I finally spoke to someone and explained the issue, they never called me back and started ignoring my calls. I called many times to follow up, but they never answered. It seemed like they knew my number and deliberately ignored me. To test my theory, I called them from a different number, and they answered right away. This was extremely disappointing. I've never had to chase a company for so long just to get an issue fixed.
      To make matters worse, the day after the noise returned, my fridge stopped cooling altogether. I had to throw away a lot of food. The technician didn't fix my problem; instead, they broke my fridge, and now it doesn't cool at all. I called Express Repair again and again, but there was no response. Either the manager wasn't in or they put me on hold indefinitely.
      At this point, I just want a full refund, and I will never, ever use this company again. I wish I had looked the company up on BBB to find out how they actually operate. ** ***** **** ***** ****** ******* *** ****** **** ** *** ******* **** ** *** **** **** **** ****** ****** * *** ***** ** ***** ***** *******. I kindly request your assistance in helping me get my money back. This whole experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I hope the BBB can help me resolve this issue.

      * ***** **** **** ***** ** ** *** ** ******* I wish I had read these reviews. I called to say that the pump on my washing machine needed changing. The technician showed up, *** ********* **** and said the pump need changing, which we already knew. He came with no tools or parts and charged $149 for the call. My husband ordered the part and did the repair himself.
      When I spoke to Express repair to complain about the lack of service, they said they would give us a managers discount which never appeared. Then a bill arrived with an additional charge of $99 saying they were sending the bill to a collection agency. unbelievable! I pay all my bills monthly and this one was less than 2 weeks old. * ***** ***** ********* **** ************ *** ********** **** *** **** ******** ********

      We have a dishwasher - currently sells for $400.00 at ****.
      Called Express Repair because it had a leak, A serviceman came & identified the part (probable replacement cost of less than $100.00) He quoted OVER $400.00 to fix.
      We walked him out the door.

      Same like the others. Repair man came for $150. Said it was an issue with the capacitor on my fridge. Replaces it. Five hours later, the three year old fridge completely shorts out. He comes back. Mother board and compressor are fried. Fixing it was going to be $1200 plus another service call!!!
      However I was told that i would get a refund within three business days. its been 5 weeks. Michelle, the Customer Service manager that was 'looking' at my file has been out of office every time I have called (about 10-15 times now). She has no direct number or direct email. I wish I had looked them up before talking to them. I have even written the owner. *** *** ******** **** *** ** ********* Horrible experience.

      Needed my dishwasher repaired. Technician advised motor pump needed to be replaced. Part back ordered and would take 2-3 weeks. Charged me $240 for service which included installation of part. FIVE months later after part is on it’s way, being made, oh on it’s way again I asked for a refund. Am still waiting. *** ***** **** **** **** ********

      Just paid 100 and still don't have a working Fridge. Apparently is on the customer to ask if the service man has qualifications to charge a compressor that ran out of charge. I would have gladly paid the fee to have the charge done, but they didn't send a qualified tech, why did I call?? This company lacks integrity as the web site clearly states they fix compressors. As far as I know charging a compressor is inline with fixing. **** **** ***** *** *** ******* *******
